Ami, a backpacker from Japan who is four years older than high school student Jimmy, shows up at his part-time job. The two end up spending the summer working at the same store, but Jimmy gradually develops a faint crush on Ami. The two of them grew closer as they rode motorcycles together at night and went to the movies, but suddenly, Ami decided to return to Japan. Ami proposes her "one promise" to Jimmy, who can't sort out his feelings. As time passes, Jimmy visits his parents' house for the first time in a while and finds a postcard that Ami sent him 18 years ago when she returned to Japan. Jimmy's memories of his first love come back to him, and he takes his first solo trip to Japan to confront his past and examine his present. Jimmy rides the train while listening to songs that remind him of his memories with Ami, and he heads to her hometown. Will Jimmy be able to reunite with Ami?

A love story between Japanese woman & Korean man but in 26 Years Diary is more sad, touching & heartbreaking. The story based on a true story in Japan. A must watch Japanese Korean collaboration drama & movie because it is very interesting to watch.

Another Japanese Korean collaboration movie. I really like how unique & special plot directed by Kim Ki Duk. Really make you curious & keep guessing what is gonna happen next? Is very different from other romance movies that I watched. Odagiri Joe is very cool here potraying his character. Definitely a must watch Japanese Korean movie.

1 of my favorite Japanese Korean movie. Japanese woman & Korean man triangle love story. Kim Jae Wook look more Japanese in here than Korean especially he is fluent in Japanese. I think he should play in many Japanese drama/movies. A must watch intercountry romance genre. The story is sweet & adorable between ML & FL.

Minori (Shihori Kanjiya) works for the tourism department in the small city of Kakamigahara, Gifu, Japan. Kakamigahara is the sister city of Chuncheon, South Korea, which was a shooting location for the popular Korean drama "Winter Sonata". Because of their relationship with Chuncheon, a photo exhibition for "Winter Sonata" is held in Kakamigahara's City Hall of Kakamigahara. The exhibition was a smashing succes with 700,000 fans attending the exhibition.

Minori's boss then asks her opinion on letting people know about the city. Minori thinks of the Korean dish kim-chi. Her boss likes the idea and puts in an order to develop Kakamigahara brand of kim-chi. For the project, they have exchange worker Won-Joon (Yoon Hak from the boy band Supernova) from Chuncheon help with the project. But Won-Joon is initially negative about the project and members of the kim-chi research group are also against the project.

Another Japanese woman & Korean man love story. Lately I really like mix countries collaboration drama /movies like Japanese & Taiwanese drama/movies or Korean Chinese drama/movies. Interesting to watch coz of different culture & languages. So adorable when I see 2 different country people speak 2-3 different languages. I really like both of the dramas.
