Ailada is a sweet-hardworking woman; who runs an online clothing sales page with her friend Sushi. Ailada lives together with her boyfriend, Fin, A salesman whose parents passed away when he was a child. The couple has financial problems, and Ailada is the sole contributor to paying the rent for the house and the utility bills. One day while working, Fin runs into one of his friends that suggests to him a company that can make him so-called “rich” and makes money easily. Fin tells Alida about the offer but she finds the whole situation sketchy and rejects the proposition. Frustrated by Alida response and his inferiority complex of not being able to provide, Fin gets into an argument with her. While being overwhelmed with stress, Ailada goes to Facebook and comes across Venus; a public figure that can supposedly help people with wealth and happiness, by giving advice to others and holding classes. Ailada then starts to think about the goals she wants to set and reach in the future. The next morning, desperate Ailada goes to meet Venus for help. What a battle that was! #TeamWork
If you’re looking for a cute, romance as the main storyline, then this drama is not for you. However, the main plot of the drama is very good and anticipating because it’s a battle between Venus, a cunning, evil woman who is an angel to the whole world, but inside, a devil vs. her victims, Ai, Pornparn, and Kwan #GirlPowerBaby!! who tries everything possible to unmask the real side of the villain.Venus as a life coach does a great job manipulating the world for her own benefits. With her cunning games and mind, she was even able to manipulate, betray and use the ones closest to her (actually cares and loves her). Therefore, I found the whole teamwork of those 3 ladies who are her victims, just trying to find evidence to expose and take down Venus to be so satisfying! Every single episode, I was just waiting and waiting, but honestly, it did take a whole 12 episodes to finally bring this evil woman down, but it was so worth it! (Except for the last scene, ugh I don’t know why it was there) For some characters like Fin and Non, I wish they had a better ending, but everyone has to pay their karma right!
Ley Luang did lack my typical cup of tea genre “romance.” Although there is a cute romance plot of our main couple, Ai and Chawin AKA the most perfect boyfriend/husband in the world, I still did not find good chemistry between them. I mean the story was cute or whatever, but the chemistry felt bland and boring. I mean, the main plot was not about them or their love story, so I guess it’s understandable.
Overall it’s a great watch, solid plot. Did not feel so draggy or boring (although it’s 12 episodes, 1.5 hour long). Music and OST were decent. I liked everyone’s acting. Especially Cheer! Like I hated her character in the entire show and could not wait to see her go down! Lol that’s how you know an actor or actress did their job perfectly.
About
“Irada”, an online seller who was successful from her own effort, only one thing that fell her was her boyfriend “Fin” who dreamed to be a superstar but had never been successful. Until one day, Irada’s product was sued by a businessman named “Chawin”. She admitted it willingly, made Chawin impressed and withdrew the case, they became friend since then. Irada trusted “Jennaree”, the owner of ‘North Star Life Coach’ as her idol, without knowing that Jennaree used this career as a way to make people believe and make her own profit. She took Fin there to be coached the trick for fulfilling his dream but Fin instead secretly had a relationship with Jennaree, using her connection to be a star. Irada was coached to invest in supplement food business with Jennaree’s followers “Chernkwan”, “Nont” and “Porn”, while she did not know that the components inside were under standard. Irada later found out that Fin and Jennaree had a secret relationship, she was heart-broken and slapped on Jennaree’s face. Someone took the video and posted on social, many people blamed Irada and this effected to her business including supplement food that caused a people to death. Jennaree left all responsibilities to Nont while Irada was very angry at Jennaree and Fin. She decided to cooperate with Chawin and Nont to disclose Jennaree’s conspiracy until finally made her in jail. Irada and Chawin later became couple, they both supported each other businesses and lived happily together.
