Great Story !!!!!!!!
Love the story . The topic of this drama was great especially the way beauty is seen by the young people now. She was beautiful because of her good heart. A beauty pageant might make believe how beautiful you are but in the end the pressure to stay beautiful as you get older is hard to handle. What is beauty anyway, for each of us is different. Many times a person can have nice looking features in the outside but is very ugly in the inside. I really like the way the guys supportive the lead female character and her family support was always there for her. How the lead male character surprised us by telling everyone he had plastic surgery to get his looks but he was proud of his look and was happy. Bad Writing, But cute with a nice message.
LIKES:Cute, beautiful location shots like the Ocean.
Cinematography and colour palette was good.
Production for the most part was decent.
Wardrobe was appropriate.
Message: love yourself and don’t give up. If your pretty face is just masking the ugliness of your heart, you aren’t beautiful at all.
Very PG, any age can watch it
Easy, lighthearted watch.
Music:
okay, nothing stood out, but it was appropriate and didn’t overpower the voices of actors & actresses.
For once the parents were not annoying.
FX:
(the stitches and scar) were okay (sometimes the scar was very darkly applied and the next scene it was lighter, as if the makeup artist was different each time).
Cast:
Easy acting for Kamio Fuju. Riko was exceptional with all the quirks and expressions of Kamiya Manaha.

Zoom in too close, shaking camera (film stabilizer not used).
Writing:
no added message at end of episode for people dealing with depression and dark thoughts.
Seemed more like junior/middle school crushes, then senior/ high school love. Very few kisses and same with holding hands.
No conclusion for the 2ML or 2FL
Wardrobe:
For the Pageant I don’t understand why the girls were dressed in wedding gowns.
Pacing:
considering there was only 8 episodes, there were a few too many filler moments, where they could’ve spent the time better for concluding some of the characters.
OVERALL: Any age can watch it, very PG. Easy and fast watch. It had potential to be impactful but bad writing derailed it. I won't rewatch it, but recommend it for people starting out in this genre.

Just be yourself! No need to hide your scars. Your beauty will come through! Of course you will feel pain sometimes but don't hate yourself for it. These are all very good things to remember or to be reminded especially when you feel lost and helpless at times.
Lastly, Keigo (Kamio Fuju) is such an eye candy!! ohmygawwwdd!

This is a really nice and cute coming of age and “like yourself the way you are” drama. Although the female lead suffers an injury to her face, she worked hard to accept her circumstances, and with the help of her friends, family, and the male lead that loved her steadfastly throughout the drama, she learned to love herself for who she really are and not for how she looks. The positive thing about the leading lady and her circumstances is that she knows that she will have to persevere since there are moments when she is still hurt by the scar on her face, Even then, as she hopes that the scar will become less noticeable, she remains in good spirits as she is loved and accepted by the meaningful people in her life, but more than that, she loves the person she has become. Overall, although the romance is not center staged, the drama is entertaining. (*The title does not reflect the plot drama at all!) Was this review helpful to you?
Do not watch this fast take your time with it
i watched it and liked it so much i am willing to watch it again. this is so good, the characters to the story, the director killed it with the camera lol xD omg im sorry but like its sooo good and has a twist to it. at first i was not sure but in the second episode i was more into the drama, its not what you expect but then you should expect the unexpected because this drama is not the ordinary one , as i said take your time because i am dying to watchlike the next episode....Was this review helpful to you?
