A drama commemorating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Youth Theater. Koichi (Naoto Ogata), a physician who works at a hospital in Kofu City, is about to leave his parents in Tokyo for a year. He also has a girlfriend named Yuki Higashi, the daughter of a local inn keeper. However, he is left wondering if he can make it as a doctor, aftermaking a trivial mistake in a medical examination.
