Hibino's family receives a fax which states that the youngest member of the family, Yukari, has been kidnapped for ransom. At the request of her brother, police officer Hiiragi Kijima takes care of the case. It soon turns out that the murder of a student, which Kijima is trying to solve, is somehow connected to the kidnapping of the girl.
