Not amazing but enjoyable...

Honestly, the storyline felt very boring and there was nothing special about the acting. It was just a fun short thing to watch. When I look back at it, I realize how average it was but maybe it was because it was 4 am and I was willing to watch anything but I actually enjoyed it. It was funny and the chemistry was good too. I watched it a while ago so I don't remember a lot about it. I would recommend to watch it if you want something super short but its not the best series put there. Also a bit unrealistic lol.

The good and bad parts.

This drama has a short and nice plot concerning two guys with the last name of Shao.

What I really liked about this was the chemistry between the two leading actors, Joseph Wen and Xia Zhe Yuan.
This drama has a bit of BL atmosphere to it and their chemistry is amazing! I’ve said that their chemistry is amazing because I can tell that they know how to get along and as a half-blood fujoshi, I can see Shao Yiyou’s (played by Joseph Wen) eyes dripping honey! Although I do enjoy their sweet scenes, there are some things I noticed while watching the drama. Sometimes they would dub their voice in a scene and you would notice it the moment the actor starts speaking. It’s not a big problem but it kind of takes my focus off the scene/plot.

What I disliked about this drama is the episode duration. Each episode is approximately 5 minutes each! I saw that there was a few videos that complied a few episodes together. I also didn’t quite understand the character Xu Yuan’s logic. Is he the type that respects the strong and bully the weak? Or is he the one that just doesn’t like new changes? I’m honestly a bit stumped by his character development.

Too short and comparable

Too short but simple and cute.
Hope to see more of these actors.

The problem with this one is a personal preference I absolutely love BL dramas 1000% I can’t get enough of them I watch them daily but watching this show it was soooo hard not to compare it to China’s Hello Sharpshooter.

I know that is a straight drama and that makes them completely different but because I watched that one as well it’s so hard for me not to judge this one automatically and harshly without meaning to at all!

A Cute Little Story!

I watched this in one sitting, because it was pretty short. Honestly I watched it because some of the reviews were pretty positive about this being a bromance. It was really cute, but there were a lot of things I did not think positively about. First of all because this story is so short, there really wasn't time to fully develop the characters or their feelings for one another. I could see these two boys becoming close as they were both lonely, but it still felt to me like they just developed a friendship. This was not bad, but it certainly did not lend itself to being romantic in any way. Also there were things that were left out, such as what happened to the girl in the story and how the relationship with the respective adults in their lives turned out. This series has little to recommend it and even less rewatch value. I'm not sorry I watched it, it was cute enough, but it is not one that I could comfortably recommend as a bromance.

Very close to an actual BL drama

This series contains so many typical BL elements - jealously, hidden feelings for each other, missing each other when they are gone - but since it's a Chinese production, it won't be a full blown BL but like I said, it's the closest you can get to an actual BL drama already.

Honestly the plot is really quite typical of any BL dramas/novels, you get a cold and quiet main character (MC) and then suddenly an active, extra-friendly person turns up in MC's life and everything changes. Then eventually they fall for each other and voila!

This series actually reminds me of HIStory 2: Crossing the Line since it revolves around sports and then like how the MC is good in the sport but due to some reason or another, doesn't perform as well anymore. Then the second MC turns up and changes his life around.

This Chinese series however, talks about how MC's father hired a fake brother for him so as to make his son overcome his psychological issues. Yet this fake brother is of a personality that is polar opposite to his son's and things start to get interesting from then on.

In my opinion, I always like dramas that at first involve a cold and quiet MC then because of someone's appearance he changes to become a much better person and falls in love with the 'someone'. You may dislike China's censorship laws but please do not dislike productions from their country. This is really a sweet series that I recommend everyone to watch!

Like many people in the comments mentioned, China has a very good potential to produce really fantastic BL dramas/movies should the law be not there and this series really just shows that.

Bromance

Upon watching the trailer initially, I anticipated it to have BL vibes, but it pleasantly surprised me as it turned out to be more of a bromance. The story revolves around a friend lending a helping hand to his "brother," and together they embark on a journey to boost each other's self-confidence.
However, I wasn't particularly fond of the cut scenes as they lacked coherence and character progression. However, the main characters' chemistry was undeniably strong right from the beginning of the episode, making it all the more captivating to watch. All in all, it's a nice and enjoyable short.

Fraca
