Architecture student In-cheol is the son of a successful entrepreneur and is in love with Nami, the daughter of the bank president. His older brother In-ho is also serving as a military leader, and In-cheol's family has nothing to envy. However, when it is revealed that In-cheol's father was from a baekjeong, the conflict begins. Pessimistic about this, Inho quit his military post and immigrated abroad, and Nami's father refused the loan, and In-cheol's father went bankrupt. The relationship between In-cheol and Nami also becomes poor, and In-cheol wanders while watching his father's death. However, after meeting his uncle, who is proud of his work as a butcher, and hearing his father's tough success story, In-cheol overcomes his feelings of inferiority and begins a new life, ending Nami's love.
