Master Li sees a Spear Diety within Sikong Chang Feng, who urges Dong Jun to help get his spear back. Dong Jun wracks his brain for inspiration and is reminded of what his master once told him about liquor. Princess Qing braces because her sister may not come back, and she must rule on her own. To prevent the Emperor from embarrassment, the Grand Eunuch entreats Prince Qing to handle Dong Jun at the wine tasting competition.

That conversation between Mr. Li nd Lei Mengsha is how every scene in this drama should've been if it's to be called TBOY's prequel. Mutual understanding, lines that have multiple layers of meaning, the feeling of something very important is being planned in this small ordinary-looking place of the world.All these were constant themes in TBOY but has been almost nonexistent in DY.Still, it's a pleasure to see sparks of that unique style.
