Same actor Bai Jing Ting and the story also started from unexpected forced marriage. Although at the beginning, they don't seem to understand each other but as their life goes with challenges and struggles brought by their surroundings , their marriage turned real as well as their feelings with each other.

Bai Jingting's other costume drama as ML. Both dramas have arranged marriage and main leads as new husband and wife. Great chemistry and amazing acting in both dramas.

Same ML, historical setting (costume cdrama), a bit of a similar topic (women empowering themselves through commerce in a patriarchal society), similar new spouses dynamics.

Destined seems to be more romantically-inclined, though.

in Destined, there is a really good focus in character development for both of the male leads. In both drama ML is same and is also focused on politics. In my personal opinion if you like this drama, you'll love Destined.

Just like NLB in the WCRG ML is sickly and FL though of treating him good until his last day and was looking forward to returning to her home. In both drama FL starts packing her bag when things start going south.

Similarities:
-Both leads are equal to each other and their love and bond is strong.
-Great sisterhoods in both series which is not typical in c-dramas.
-Both sets open up a restaurant and other businesses and count on each other's strengths to carry them through.
-Great comedy in both.

-Both involves women doing business were women didn't have much control
-Both involves having food business
-Both has GOOD communication between FL and ML

-In both dramas the couple marry very early because a arranged marriage but slowly they fall in love and become a power couple.
-Both ML are highly intelligent and look down the FL at first because of their simple ways and lack of formal education but they start to love and admire them and learn that the life knowledgement their wives have is actually as valuable as the knowledgement from the books, both are complementary.
-Both dramas have very funny and adorable side characthers.
-Both criticize the women inferior place in society and sisterhood is very strong
-Slice of life

The biggest diference that can let down New Life Begins fans is that the FL in The Lady in Butcher's House isn't a cutie, she has a very strong personality and often uses brute force against the ML who is actually weak unlike the NLB ML who just pretends being weak

Both shows are positive, easy to watch, happy; have no frustrating villains; talk a lot about food. There's more romance, plenty of kisses in "Love me, Love my voice" than in "New life begins". Both have lost of side characters, but LM,LMV is a no-stress, slower paced, feel-good, slice of live piece. There is more character development stories in NLB.

Both dramas have:
1. Female leads who are kind, smart and fighting for women's rights in their era.
2. A lot of funny, light and heart touching moments.
3. Very good soundtracks.
4. Loving and supporting male leads as the female leads' husbands.

The FL loves to cook and sets up her own restaurant, and the whole show is about how she grows her business and breaks stereotypes.
The ML is very supportive and kind.
Also has happy scenes from married life, and how their relationship deepens.
Good relationship between sisters, and bromances too.

The female lead actress in both dramas is the same. And the personality of both her characters in these dramas is very similar. The makeup, theme and style are also similar.
I myself liked "Tian Xi Wei" after watching "Ms. Cupid In Love" and decided to watch "New Life Begins" as well.
Both dramas are light and comedy that do not have a very complicated story and you can enjoy watching them with ease. (If, like me, your mind is tired of very twisted plots and arcs and your mind needs some rest, I think this is for you.)
uh and the ML in both is calm and mild, although they are not quite similar.

They are similar in terms of:
- They're both are in historical setting (to be precise, in kingdoms)
- Female Lead is knowledgable about food and they're known to make such outstanding and revolutionary food/culinary that were praised by other characters in the drama.
- Female Lead is in the situation where they are forced to marry Male Lead
- Female Lead is reluctantly to do skinships with her partner, and her partner doesn't force her to do so.
- Female Lead doesn't know etiquette inside the Palace
- Female Lead is smart (not academically, but more of a street-smart type or witty)
- Male Lead is pretending to be not who they actually is (in Mr. Queen, the King pretended to be dumb and weak, while New Life Begins 6th Prince is pretending to be weak and is trying to lay low on purpose)
- Male Lead chases Female Lead first
- Both dramas are very comedic
- Both dramas are light hearted, not too much melodramatic elements
- Both dramas showcase the life of a man with concubines (in Mr. Queen the FL is a queen, while the concubine is evil side-character, on the other hand, New Life Begins FL is a concubine)

The differences are:
- Mr Queen is a fantasy RomCom drama while New Life Begins is a normal RomCom drama
- Female Lead in Mr Queen is strong headed and badass, on the other hand, New Life Begins Female Lead is more timid
- In Mr. Queen, FL can only rely on her husband and her maid servants, but in New Life Begins, FL is actually making sisterhood bonds with a lot of females - the wives and concubines of the Princes.

Although New Life Begins is more light-hearted, both dramas shine a light on the hardships and prejudice women in Ancient China are confronted with.

They take the audience on an enlightening and inspiring journey as these women fight against the patriarchal society to flourish both in business and marriage. We're shown not only the bad marriages but also the good ones, where husband and wife can work together to achieve gender equality, harmony and prosperity.
