So, watching Tomorrow really got me interested with Yun Jion (First saw him in Memorist and it's safe to say he's one of my favorite actors now because of Tomorrow and Modern Girl) So, me being me when I'm interested with an actor I'd look at their filmography and note the ones that are easily watchable and available for me. Honestly? There seems to be a lot of interesting projects in his filmography but I decided to watch this first cause it's short and I don't think it would be a project that "ruins" my view of Im Ryunggu (his chara in Tomorrow) and I kinda just barely read the synopsis and just started watching it, and? It's actually a lot better than I thought. Not to the point of "Oh I wish this is a normal drama series instead" because the one hour duration actually fits the story really well and it couldn't have been better in my opinion.First of all, I guess this is my first "drama" where it's in this era in SK, so it was pretty interesting. The whole mood, setting, outfits, everything was set really nicely and beautifully and it's really pleasing to look at. Second, the story. Honestly it went pretty unexpectedly in multiple occasions. When I thought nothing could be more surprising, something surprising would come again. It's a pretty fun drama, and here and there would sprinkle little bit of sadness that follows with happiness until it smacked you with a big heartbreak, ending it happily. For a drama special my heart went through a pretty terrifying rollercoaster. But it was nice. Third, the casts. Everyone really pulled it off so well. (Once I noticed Jin Jihee and Yun Jion's little interaction in Jion's instagram and wondered where they knew each other.. Turns out it was this.) ((Also hoping they'd be cast together again)) Especially it's my first time seeing Jion in a romantic setting. His performance as Nam Woojin is AMAZING. Because I'm biased? Most likely. But it was really nice and exciting for me because it's a side I haven't seen before from him. His calm, polite, and sweet mannerism with subtle mysterious side that makes girls swoon over him. Comparing him with the husband of Gu Shindeuk was like night and day. Also, it is the main topic, the reason of the story, I have to mention Gu Shindeuk and Yeong Yi. Watching Yeong Yi who is always loyal to Shindeuk throughout the drama is painful and it makes me just want to pat her in the back. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not. Technically she's really just doing her job as a handmaid (while considering Shindeuk as her family and friend) meanwhile Shindeuk kinda just took it for granted. Them who I thought would've stuck like glue turned out to not be like that. Shindeuk's new friends hanging out with her and purposefully leaving out Yeong Yi because she's her servant. It was really painful to watch. All of that and more, to finally blow up and became a turning point for Shindeuk to have her development was really nice to see.
Anyway basically it's really good, yall should watch it
