this drama lacks storyline ...

so this is another Love me love my voice where there is nothing but eating , travelling , smiling and romance ...this drama also has no storyline at all ...i really do not understand why scriptwriter makes these shows so longer , this drama can be easily fitted in 24 episodes ...this drama has so many boring scenes and there romance lacks romance ...

from starting , i am loving this show but after ep 9 i starts to loose my interest ... i love ''love at first sight '' concept but if they starts dating , their should be no awkward moments now ... sometimes i get vibes of harassment when he is walking naked in front of her , when he enters her room before dating and when he reaches towards her on the bed ... even the FL turns to opposite side because she did not want a fast track relationship ...

i feel these types of relationships are result of impulsiveness ... i love mature kind of relationship and because of leo wu , i am expecting a mature drama but this drama is really childish where ML is broke but he like to spend all his money on her ...
sometimes i feel like these types of dramas are the dreams of a girl which seriously lacks realistic feeling of a couple ...

they have good chemistry , i think they will fit completely in a school drama ...but i can't continue this anymore ...

an high budget drama ruined with a bad script .

The story starts pretty nice till ep 8 - 10 but after that the story becomes draggy ...i think if someone skips ep 11 to 16 , he will not miss anthing in the story ... Although i love romcoms but i love the drama where story is not draggy ... and as i have said before in comments that - '' in this drama , i can't feel romantic vibes from their romance scenes '' ...

this drama is just like Love me love my voice where there is nothing but eating , laughing , texting , kisses and i am disappointed in both of the dramas ...

as the two clubs are competitors , there should be some fierce feelings at start but all the boys are so friendly that i think tencent can make a especial bl drama for them ...

i am watching this drama till ep 20 , because i always feels when their games starts , it will be fun to watch but now i do not want to continue because i know they are going to win every match ...

i also somewhat feels off when i think how can lin yiyang can win every match after his return ,,, i can understand he is a gem in snooker but he retired so early and even if he practise daily , how can he beat proffesionals because as he said he has a college to attend and he also joins many part time job ... so i think , in terms of sports i think it is confusing that how can he and his girlfriend are winning every matches ...
thats why i always feels that sports and romance are the genres which can't be mixed because if an player gets in relationship how can he focus on his training ...

the only thing i love is relationship between his coach and him and also friendship of lin yiyang and wu wei ...

i am giving it 3.5 because of their costumes , background and specially osts ...

i love leo wu in The long ballad and zhao jinmai in reset but this drama is pretty boring and now i can't waste my time anymore ...

I’m so picky on cdrama this past few months but when this drama came I spontaneously watch it even it’s on going. The storyline is so good it is fastpaced that’s why I didn’t get bored . Zhao Jinmai and Wu lei’s chemistry is very natural. The cast also are very suitable to their characters. The music also is on point. Job well done to the director and to all the staff and crew. This made my month stress free.

Not Until I Meet You Amidst A Snowstorm of Love

I've been looking forward to this drama since the casts were announced. I am a fan of Wu Lei's and Jin Mai's works. I struggled to get through the first few episodes. Not until I picked it up again and binge through it, I found it very enjoyable. It has a light plot, no annoying characters, no repetitive conflicts. Conflicts also are resolved in appropriate times. The billiards scenes are not too long or not too short, just enough. For me everything was just appropriate, I don't feel the urge to skip any of the scenes. And I made me giggle a lot, to see Yin Guo and Yiyang. The early awkward meetings, the pining and yearning that Yiyang did (ughhhhh I swoon), and the moment they got together, I squaled.

Wu Lei did amazing acting through those eyes, the yearning look, the guilty look, and the determined look. Jinmai also did very well on potraying Yin Guo, you can see when she is shy, when she is nervous, or when she is confident in the competition.

I kinda liked the fact that on the first half, it is Yiyang who guided and helped Yin Guo, but on the second half, it is Yin Guo who helped Yiyang got back on his feet and back to the court. The symbolism using the compass necklace was cool. Fate brought them together through the snowstorm.

Overall, it has been a very cute, enjoyable watch. My eyes are also blessed because there are too many eye candies in this drama. Worth to watch and binge!

Side Notes:
I personally kinda confused where to look, when Yiyang, Jiang Yang, and Xiaodong are together in a scene ?

I am adding Lin Yiyang to my list of the best C-drama boyfriends because of those act of services are crazyyyyyy.

Recommended if you liked Hidden Love

Just finished this today and I give it a solid 7 stars. I liked this despite some flaws. The strongest part of this drama was the relationship between these two young lovers, played exceptionally well by Wu Lei and Zhao Jin Mai, while its weakest was in the elements of production.

Both leads were well-cast in this romantic drama and my biggest delight was watching them playfully enjoying each other's company and slowly letting each other in. Our FL is at first suspicious of our ML since she is inexperienced and away from home. Our ML is living and studying abroad having left behind a troubled past. He is living a relatively uncomplicated life, but the appearance of this pretty young lady makes him realize how much he is really missing. We are drawn into their relationship and are made to feel a part of it---every glance, every smile, every intimate moment. I basked in this youthful love, reminded of my own relationship with my husband when we first started dating.

Centered around this love story is the sport of billiards. Both are young athletes who are competing in billiards tournaments and although somewhat interesting, (I had no idea there were so many different types of billiard games---Snooker, 6 ball, 9 ball, etc.), it often detracted from the main focus of these two lovers. Many gorgeous people abounded in the cast and the talent was underused. I think a more compelling story would have been to give some of these young people more to do than just stand there and look beautiful. One example was Dai Si. The plot seemed to be going towards a possible triangle, but instead underused her in the name of not creating conflicts. In fact, the only conflict in this drama is within our ML and his troubled past. There is very little in the way of outer forces working against them which makes for a very benign plot.

The last few episodes were weakest because they dealt more with a national billiards competition that took away much of the focus of the two young lovers, but gave the ensemble cast more screen time. I think the goal was to produce a youthful, romantic drama for a younger audience with as little conflict as possible. The lessons/message being: love your person, love your sport, love your country.

I also appreciated the on location filming in Finland and getting to see some of the snowy sites. The extras were great and it gave our main leads an opportunity to practice their English.

OST was great. Perfect mix of youthful tunes with just a touch of edgy songs for the billiards competitions. The piano score played during the couple moments was my favorite. I have already added it to my Spotify playlist.

I recommend this title for those who want something similar to Hidden Love.

What have I just watched?

I finished the drama and I'm left with the feeling of "what have I just watched?".

It's a simple storythat has a lof of fluffy moments. They cute and bring smile on your face. It can be treated as a "feel good drama". The cast is good looking and act well enough. The couple get together quite quickly, they hug and kiss A LOT. There's that intensivity that's usually absent in Cdramas.
That's for positive side.

For the negative.
Half of the screen time shows people striking billiard balls. Really. If it's not ML, it's FL, other players or even some random people at the club. The rules are never explained and as I know nothing about the sport I don't even know if the leads are winning or loosing. So there's no emotional build up during the scene. Sometimes a little is explained by a sport commentary. At the end I was skipping all billiard scenes.

Also, you have to switch of your brain to enjoy the drama. If you question a single thing everything will fall apart. For example, why other players want the best player to come back and make them loose their high ranks...
Honestly, I want to rant here about all the things that didn't make sense but I don't want to spoiler.

So, while I liked the intense romance part the rest was either skippable (the billiard) or boring.

There was no storyline, but the main characters were the reason for drama survival.

There was no storyline, but the main characters were the reason for drama survival. Throughout the entirety of the drama, the focus remained solely on two characters. It's puzzling why they chose to cast so many additional characters when there seemed to be a lack of substantial screenplay to justify their inclusion.

When you watch this, you might find it hard to move on

I'm absolutely obsessed with this drama because it's such a breath of fresh air! I mean, come on, no antagonist means no unnecessary stress and tension - just pure positivity and good vibes all the way. It's like a cozy blanket on a rainy day, you know? Once you finish watching this show, there's just no way you won't want to watch it again. You will also have a chance seeing some parts of Finland. When it comes to Zhao Jinmai and Leo Wu, their chemistry is so natural and effortless that it's almost like they were really dating.

Beautiful relationship that touches my heart the most

I never thought I'd end up loving this C-drama so much. After finishing it, I find myself rewatching it every night before bed, and it always puts a smile on my face. Each time I watch, I notice new details about the characters that make me appreciate them even more. I’ve completely fallen for Lin Yi Yang—he’s exactly the kind of guy I’m drawn to, so it’s no wonder he’s become my all-time favorite character. Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai’s performances are incredible; they make the characters feel so real. I’m absolutely hooked on their love story, and the chemistry between them is perfect. I really hope they star together again! The story moves at a great pace, without any unnecessary dragging, which I love. The supporting characters are also a joy to watch. I find myself tearing up during many scenes because of how touching they are. Overall, I’m so glad I discovered Lin Yi Yang and Yin Guo. Even more, I’m grateful that Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai brought them to life so beautifully.

Beautiful Drama with passion of Love

This drama is extremely sweet and beautiful! You can see the love in the ML eyes from the beginning and they are just so sweet together. The acting is really good and the story shows a slow burn in a wonderful way! The way the male lead grows throughout this story as well as the female lead is very heart-warming.
