I thought Mr Jin committed suicide in the desert in ep 17, but in ep 20 he suddenly appears again. Can anyone explain what happened?

It was Yucheng in the desert..Yucheng joined ZL after he reunited him with his mother whonhad been held hostage by JWJ, Mr.Jin has been with ML from his smuggling days but had cheated him then understood ZL is a good person and pledged him loyalty ..2 different people
