At long last these two are finally married. 🎊🥳🎉Ms Yu’s and Ms Wu’s plans had the Emperor bless them getting married and Empress dowager impressed with her respect for Gma’s wishes over her father’s. Brother has developed a spine and plans to relocate out of the capital and work with a school. Mr Fu had to have a sword at his throat to convince him to yield. It was most satisfying to see a sword slice right through his firearm and rest nicely at his throat. 👏🏻🤌🏼 Zhao Ling welcoming TingYun’s mom as his own is an especially touching scene. 🌹❤️This was the biggest success of the day for a last betrothal gift to his beloved. I especially appreciated her new name for her daughter removing her from the Fu family bondage. Presiding over the wedding ceremony was a thoughtful and much needed mother/daughter bond making up for many missed daughter milestones while separated. 🥰The Yan’s are already at work undermining Zhao Ling at the festivities and Jing Xiu is bemoaning the loss of the woman he never really wanted until she was unobtainable. I like how Ms Yan reminded him of his efforts to trample the arrangement she had made for him while she tries to bring in the young Ms Wu as a concubine. He is making it clear he’s not interested. Mo and Wang show up late to the festivities and there is a happy gathering of soldiers celebrating Zhao Ling’s newest promotion….husband. 🤣😁🥳I also appreciate him taking the time to let her brother know he will take care of her, and her brother reminding him that he better. The people that matter most to the couple are here sharing their happiest day. And the guests that are there because custom demands it are already bringing storm clouds to their horizon. It is clear the story is not going to grant them a honeymoon phase and going straight to next calamity. 😝🙄

Quanhui is a beautiful name. They are Finally MARRIED!!!!!! I'm so happy for them. They both looked beautiful. I'm glad the Mother could attend the wedding. That father is crazy and should be sent to the temple to become a monk or something. I loved the sword cutting the gun.

I think I have never cried so much at anyone's wedding as I did at Zhao Ling and Tingyun's. That was so beautiful and touching! Him ensuring that her mother could attend and that Tingzhou came as well. All those tears of joy in Tingyun's eyes... I can't even explain. 🥹💖And then Commander Wang and General Mo also arrived, and before that, Zhao Ling and Sen reconciled... This episode was pure joy — not even Fifth Master Fu or Madam Yu could ruin it! 🤗But one thing actually got me thinking a little. And that is what Lord Wei was saying — about Master Zhao not being present, and no one from the palace coming either... The music just added to that feeling that something might not be right there. The reason why Master Zhao wasn't there was plausible, but the Emperor not sending anyone... I don't know. Maybe that wedding gift he gave at the Empress Dowager's banquet covered for the fact that no one came. 🤔Also — is Miss Wu in Jingxiu's room with her consent, or is she forced to be there again? I noticed how Jingxiu's eyes stopped at her for a very brief moment while she was watching the wedding delegation from the balcony, and I know her looks are supposed to be somewhat similar to Tingyun's. So, could she be to Jingxiu's liking as Tingyun's replacement? 😳

After so many episodes talking about getting married the wedding is here! It was annoying to have this drama with the father not giving his blessing when she is not a Fu anymore. Why doesn’t she ever say that the Emperor gave her a new identity as a Xie? It could have saved the whole court with her dad and everything after. Happy that the marriage is happening though.

The episode ws everything we waited for and more...ZL fulfilled all his prromise to FTY, and ZL heroic, FTY the radiant bride...the blessings from her mother...one happy joyous ceremony.💖💖And Liu Yuning singing the OST in tnhe background was icing on the cake ❤️ ❤️
