Follow the Star (1978)

Miss Chen is a rich pop singer, and her father was a criminal. Things get complicated when his accomplices get out of jail and want their share of the money from a former heist and are willing to do what they need to do in order to have their shares of the pie. After the young pop star is attacked from all directions by a gang of James Bondian villains she bumps into Roy Chiao, a drunk mechanic. She is taken by his goofiness and tries to hire him as a bodyguard. At first, he declines until he mixes it up with the evil villains (a gunman with cataracts, an iron-fisted thug, Fung Hark-On killing people with a deck of cards, a steel headed hitman and a drag queen) they're led by a mysterious man wearing a monkey mask?!
