While singal has more elemnts of sci-fi (like a walkie-talkie that connect two timelines), both dramas masterfully deal with police investigations, and political corruptions that try hiding the truth.

Did he do it? Didn't he do it? Is it a good guy or a bad guy? The masterful acting of the leads are incredible. The masterful story telling keeps you on the edge of your seat right up the very end.

Both leads end up being accused of murdering people who are close to them and both leads have no memory of committing said murder. Both end up having to navigate their way around prison and both work together with people who believe in their innocence to prove they are not the culprit.

Both are murder mysteries in which the ML is suspected of being a killer and viewed as dangerous by those around him. In both, he's lost part of his memories and is uncertain of past events. Both dramas have a similar feel with dark vibes and all the characters having secrets.

Same writer. Even though Black Out is based on a book, you can see similarities in the writing styles through the adaptation. Black Out also has a similar setting for the main character where he is seen as an outcast and is despised by the rest of his village community. Lots of injustice like Save Me 2 to the point it will infuriate you even more with how despicable most of these characters are in their actions.
