A sad backstory does not absolve you of sexual assault or being a horrible human being
Noh Hwa Jang being such a weak character despite the hype she’s supposed to be receiving in the show was odd for me. I thought she was miscast. Her expressions aren’t stern or ambitious, they’re just placid and expressionless. Also, she does NOT have the physical prowess to be beating up fully grown soldiers in the Korean army. The scene where she’s bullying some low level NPC in the urinal was a joke. Even her stabbing motions had no power. The guy with his head in the toilet was doing all the work in the scene.But that wasn’t even the deal breaker. It’s Tae Man’s character and the messaging that the show seems to be moving towards is “if you have a shitty parent you can be a trash human being without repercussions” — and it’s not like he was a general douche or asshole, this guy had a history of aggravated assault on people, blinding people, r*ping girls, sexual assault, drug abuse and probably more but oh!— you have a shitty mother? Say no more, your sins are forgiven. What kind of shit story is that? What are they trying to say? Bae Man being such a sunshine patriot character was also incredibly off putting considering he got so much screen time. Man, I’m just annoyed thinking about how late I stayed up watching this only to realize what a waste of time and resources this hot flaming chumbuxket was.

Do Bae Man is A Horrible Dude you Cannot and Should not Root For in this poorly written Affair.
The ML is a scumbag full stop. Im all for redemption Arcs but when your starting point is bowing down before a voilent series rapist and promising you'll get him off while the victim is barely coping with the terror of repercussion then well its hard to redeem. (The rape was horrendous btw)The fact then there is basically no redemption arc makes my mind boggle. Literally immediately the apparently righteous FL (who is the one supporting the rape victim along with the MLs aunt who is a detective investigating his case) is smiling and having Chemistry with the ML. He has now gone pro rape victim not because he cares one bit but because FL reveals to him the rapists family killed his parents. This revelation makes him sad and angry (again not because he cares about the poor terrified woman who has just been raped and is living in fear of reprisal because she had the guts to go to the police and is terrified a scumbag like the ML will get her violent scumbag rapist off) no its because it affects him it makes him angry he happily got on his knees for this dirtbag but now Seemingly he is righteous and all is well Eh no its not, not by a long shot. I cannot understand anyone who could root for a scumbag ML like this and then having him have "chemistry" with the badass FL Just totally demeans her. Seriously i will never watch one of this writers dramas again on principle. What a waste of Jo Bo Ahs character. If she was written as using the ML but also planning on teachimg him a lesson maybe but that does not happen. God its one parhetic show.AVOID IT ALL COSTS Unless you like pure stupidity and crassness.

The writers fell asleep and made it my problem
This show was a difficult watch for many reason, including but not limited to the poor writing, cringy acting and uneccesarily evil 'big bad'.The Writing:
This had a lot of potential to be an excellent show, but the writers' lack of enthusiasm for the piece showed through—they truly seemed to have written for two different shows and forgotten what they were doing halfway through. The courtroom scenes are fully make believe which doesn't aid in your ability to suspend disbelief. Several sub plots are never actually fleshed out, whether in hope for a Season 2 or not, it left me as a viewer wanting. This is further emphasised by the poorly developed characters and dialogue.
Cringey Acting aka Jo Bo-Ah:
This character is the epitome of what not to write. A flawless, omniscient character that is never wrong and is never hurt. From the cringey wig to the bad fight scenes, this character was doomed. The writers try and explain away her inability to get hurt by a short scene showing her training with her dad as a teenager - because everyone knows 10 years of training means no one can every land a hit on you(and I mean ever). Ahn Bo-Hyun in comparison is shown as highly capable but still sustains injuries, as do the other characters. Woo-in goes through 0 development as a character and acts above the law at all times, while guilt tripping Bae-man for having done the same for monetary gain. Woo-in was a very hard character to watch but every action she took seemed purely for drama purposes and not furthering (the badly written) plot. She has all the answers for Bae-mans past but refuses to tell him, claiming he needs to discover it himself. This goes on for 2 episodes too long frankly, just tell the dude. In an effort to make an iconic female character, the writers removed anything to connect you to the character. She also blatantly discards Miltary protocol to show that she is 'different' from the others and a 'rebel'. She would have been written up day one and suspended for her failure to follow hierarchies alone. Bae-man is actually an interesting character who goes through levels of personal development and always seems to have a plan, whereas Woo-in has spent all this time planning and made a noticeable lack of progress.
The Big Bad:
Noh Tae-nam was an excellent villain - rich, spoiled, traumatised, just wants to chill with his dog and committed a normal level of horrendous crimes for a drama and continuously ran from responsibility. Noh Hwa-young however.... the writers really took every single characteristic of the worst person and put them together, and gave no reason or human quality. Noh Hwa-young commits these heinous acts for promotion again and again, but no indication of why she craves promotion is given. She is a caricature of a villain. She is also not a good bad guy? In that she continually leaves heaps of evidence and then sloppily covers up her crimes later, which anyone with access could put together. Noh Hwa-young is however very well played by Oh Yeon-soo, her hate always felt real and visceral. Also @writers, why was she always jogging? What purpose did that serve?
The side characters were funny and actually acted like people rather than the over written Noh Hwa-young and Cha Woo-In .
Overall it was watchable, but not very enjoyable. Bo-ah's acting was average at best and her character didn't help anything. The bad writing condemned what could have been enjoyable characters into a blight on the viewing experience, a character shouldn't make you groan in pain whenever they are on screen from cringe.

Super SATISFYING drama in a while!
Great drama in terms of depths of story and characters' growth! I think it's like becoming trend in Korea to have antagonist-like leads which I like it, lesser on the pure good against pure bad kind of plot setup. Though it's quite a serious drama that touches a lot on sensitive topics like the corruption and power abuse within military, there are still quite a few comical moments that helped to wash away the heaviness of the plot.What I really like about this drama is that they made a lot of effort depicting all characters' growth in a logical way as the story progressed to which I really felt sad for Noh Tae Nam towards the end after realizing he was actually all alone growing up. Nobody was there to teach him the right things nor was there any emotional support given to him when he needed it except for his only pet dog... At some moments his situation made me feel how great would it be if someone nice actually appears in his life to truly care for each other.
So what I didn't really like was the sudden background music whenever they had an important moment... Wish the sound effects could be more subtle to suit the serious ambience.
Though not much romance going on until like last episode, I really like the main leads' chemistry and their hidden feelings for each other~
But honestly I applaud for the drama's courage to speak so much about such topics which you may never see in another country's drama/movie production~ Guess only Korea really goes all out with depicting social issues and political corruption.

They make an offer you can't refuse
I haven't seen a disappointing series involving Bo Ah yet, and this one is no exception ... I couldn't believe how intensely great this drama turned out to be from the very first episode. Shocks and surprises were intertwined from beginning to end. There were so many layers of this story, it made for such good entertainment, watching each piece of the puzzle revealed, making a much clearer picture of how the past was effecting the present day for all the protagonists.Bo Ah & Bo Hyun were the perfect professional team going up against all the evil subplots in the story. Great chemistry between the two of them.
I think what made this great, was the changing personalities of the many characters, whether a main or supporting role. Don't be fooled by who you think is good and who you think is bad, because my perception of several characters changed in the opposite direction by the end of the series. Such fantastic antagonists on screen, without a doubt one of the most evil characters you will ever see, General Hwa Young, played brilliantly by Yeon Soo. Oh wow, you could feel the coldness coming through your television when she was on screen. Her, teamed with Moon Goo was evil on top of evil.
Early on I would have included Tae Nam on that same list, but that character, which was performed fantastically by Woo Seok, fell into the category of going from bad to good. I couldn't believe I was on his side by episode 16, because early on, what a horrible person he was.
Several big episode were the backbone of this drama, especially episode 9, which seemed to be the pinnacle episode of them all. That's were pretty much everything is revealed to us, telling us exactly who everyone truly was. After that, episode 15 was the "big one". It made everything worth waiting for ... retribution for all. There were scenes I needed to watch twice, because it was just so damn good to see it play out.
In the end, everything was kind of like you wished for, although I did think the final episode may have been rushed a bit toward the end, but overall an excellent satisfying ending for a truly great series!!!

Great FL, Useless ML — The Fatal Flaw of Doberman”
The best thing I can say about Military Prosecutor Doberman is that it wasn’t unwatchable — but that’s about where the positives end. The story had some potential, especially with the female lead’s backstory and her strong acting skills, but unfortunately, the show wasted it by putting far too much focus on the male lead.The FL was compelling, layered, and honestly the only reason I kept watching. Her motivations were clear, her pain was understandable, and her strength shone through. She could have easily carried the revenge plot on her own. Instead, the writers saddled her with the ML — a selfish, corrupt, and frankly pathetic character whose “redemption” arc was unconvincing at best. The actor’s performance didn’t help; he came across as smug rather than conflicted, and I couldn’t see any reason why the FL would ever need him, let alone fall for him. She was capable, resourceful, and driven. He was… there.
The romance was another disaster. Why on earth would a woman fighting against the corrupt system that killed her father fall for a man who gleefully participated in that exact corruption? He was comfortable being evil until it no longer suited him, and the drama never held him accountable for his crimes. Victim-blaming, protecting criminals, taking bribes — all swept under the rug with no real consequences. Yet somehow, we’re supposed to accept him as a hero and romantic partner? No, thank you.
Even the supposed justice of the ending fell flat. The main villain got punished, sure, but her son — who was complicit in horrific crimes — walked away without facing any real consequences. Just like with the ML, the writers seemed to think one or two “good” actions erased everything. It didn’t. It was lazy and insulting to the audience.
And don’t even get me started on the contrived, unrealistic plot devices. The show constantly leaned on unbelievable moments to move things forward rather than relying on strong storytelling. Instead of making me feel invested, it left me rolling my eyes.
Overall, Military Prosecutor Doberman had one standout — the FL and her excellent acting. But everything else? Disappointing, predictable, and poorly executed. If the story had truly centered on her and her journey, it could have been something special. Instead, it wasted its potential propping up a useless male lead who never earned his place in the narrative.

Firstly the cast is amazing. As Im watching this I love the story, I love how strong is the FL and also ML. There aren't many kdamas with both strong leads.The music is better than in a dramas that are mainly based on music. I was happily surprised by this, and also it made it whole more exciting and dramatic. The music actually reminds me bit of a drama Idol:The coup It was just too dramatic with the music , but here as it's action drama, it's okay.
As I'm watching it now then after about 6 months after watching it whole i will watch it again :) it's seriously that good.

Revenge, Action and Redemption
This show has got to be one of the few shows that show the process of redemption of an originally horrible, irredeemable character. It was 2 characters in this show. Do Be Man and No Tae Nam. NTN's actor did an amazing job portraying the complex character that is No Tae Nam. One would argue, NTN never went to prison, which is unsatisfying. But people fail to realise military was his prison. Its the one place he never wanted to step in. I originally hated his character and never thought I'd end up feeling bad for him, or even like him. But the writer did so well with his character.The show was great, and is perfect if you are looking for a revenge drama with minimal, and I repeat.. m i n m a l romance. Bullying, sexual harassment, abuse and rape were subjects discussed in the show. The show did a great job showing how much bullying can break down a person, even the nicest most calm person.
Overall, solid show, with a good cast. I will miss being Bo Hyun and Bo Ah together in a show.

O nome do k-drama deveria ser: ''A Promotora Militar Cha Woo In''
Sinceramente, gostei bastante da premissa, mas odiei a forma como o drama utilizou os flashforwards. Em vez de criar expectativa, eles só quebravam o ritmo da narrativa.O meu maior problema, porém, foi o protagonista. Doh Bae Man parece muito mais um coadjuvante do que o personagem principal. Quem realmente recebe destaque do início ao fim é a Cha Woo In. Até as maracutaias e estratégias que ele arma (que, diga-se de passagem, são bem legais) não foram suficientes para fazê-lo parecer um protagonista marcante. Fiquei decepcionado porque gosto muito do ator e esperava bem mais do personagem.
Tudo gira em torno da Cha Woo In. Em diversos momentos, a impressão é de que ela é a promotora experiente, enquanto Doh Bae Man é apenas o novato que está aprendendo. O mais curioso é que, no final, justamente ela abandona a carreira de promotora militar para assumir a empresa do falecido pai. Depois de todo o esforço mostrado para conquistar aquele cargo, essa decisão acabou me parecendo contraditória.
O episódio 12 resume perfeitamente o meu problema com o protagonismo. O protagonista, Doh Bae Man, simplesmente não exerce seu papel de promotor. Quem assume a acusação contra Hong Moo Seob e expõe seus abusos de poder é a Cha Woo In. Isso me incomodou porque os acontecimentos desse episódio (e também do anterior) construíam justamente a oportunidade perfeita para o Bae Man se redimir pelo erro cometido um ano antes, quando foi conivente com a injustiça sofrida por uma vítima de abuso de poder, que acabou tirando a própria vida. Era o momento ideal para ele conduzir a acusação, mas o drama entrega esse momento à Cha Woo In. Para um drama chamado O Promotor Militar Dobermann, isso acabou sendo bastante frustrante.
Outra situação que achei estranha foi a reação do Doh Bae Man ao descobrir que a Cha Woo In havia se encontrado secretamente com a Noh Hwa Young na noite anterior para colocar a sua subordinada como testemunha. Em vez de haver qualquer conflito ou cobrança pela falta de transparência, ele simplesmente agradece a ela como se nada tivesse acontecido mesmo ela se desculpando por não ter contado antes.
Também preciso comentar sobre o romance secundário. Normalmente não me incomodo quando um casal surge de forma inesperada, mas o relacionamento entre a tia do protagonista e o chefe dele me pareceu extremamente forçado e completamente desnecessário. Para piorar, ainda colocaram um filho no final, como se o drama precisasse cumprir a obrigação de encaixar um romance. Preferia que tivessem investido esse tempo desenvolvendo melhor a relação entre os protagonistas, que acabou sendo bem morna.
Agora, se teve um personagem que realmente roubou a cena, esse foi o Noh Tae Nam. De longe, foi o personagem mais interessante do drama.
Também vale mencionar que, no geral, gosto muito dos dramas produzidos pela tvN, mas este acabou sendo, até o momento, o mais fraco que assisti do canal. Isso tornou a decepção ainda maior, porque minhas expectativas eram bem altas.
Apesar de todas essas críticas, preciso reconhecer que os temas abordados são muito bem trabalhados. O drama faz críticas consistentes aos abusos de poder, à corrupção dentro das instituições militares e às relações de influência, entregando uma mensagem forte e relevante. É justamente por isso que fico com a sensação de que o roteiro desperdiçou um protagonista que tinha potencial para ser muito melhor.

Bel mix tra azione, adrenalina e procedurale
Un drama che mi ha appassionato dall'inizio alla fine e che è riuscito a mantenere un buon livello di attenzione .Rientra nella categoria procedurale, ma gli autori sono riusciti a creare un buon mix tra scene d'azione e momenti adrenalinici. ci sono tanta azione e momenti adrenalinici,
e ho trovato funzionale l'epilogo dopo il passaggio di tempo con la chiusura degli archi narrativi più importanti.
Le storyline sono ben delineate gli autori sono riusciti a gestire a sviluppare tutte le storyline caratterizzando bene i personaggi e le situazioni. Ricorrono anche qui vari trope soprattutto legati al genere, ma sono per lo più funzionali o espedienti narrativi. Inoltre ho apprezzato che siano riusciti ad equilibrare anche i momenti comici lasciati ad alcuni personaggi specifici.
Come in "Vincenzo" ho apprezzato come gli autori abbiano sviluppato la connection sentimentale tra i due protagonisti.
Tra l'altro la serie sarebbe stata validissima indipendentemente dall'esistenza del lato romantico. I due personaggi protagonisti insieme avrebbero fatto comunque scintille.
In generale di rewatch non ne faccio e se li faccio guardo solo alcuni spezzoni della serie o alcuni episodi.
Lo consiglio a chi potrebbe piacere una storia di vendetta, redenzione e giustizia, con una validissima colonna sonora e del romanticismo solo accennato.
