It's not just a bad prosecutor that is bad with this.

I was excited when I saw the trailer for this and had high expectations. After 5 episodes, I really could not get into it and probably the only person who feels this way. It was non-sensical and unbelievable with the ML's behavior in how far he can get away with things. Most people love vigilante justice but for gods sake make it more believable, have more deliberation, and thought put into the ML's actions. I find it hard to believe he even made it this far with his impulsivity and extremeness such as when he took on dozens of thugs with his kendo skills and comes out as the Gladiator Prosecutor who beats the crap out of everyone.

The acting is fine for the characters, no criticism of them. Its the storyline and character development that needs more work.

If its a bad plot with craziness, I can put up with it as long as it can keep me engaged or at the edge of my seat. However, its just plain cartoonish at this point if not predictable.

Predictable yet full of Fun.

This is probably the most predictable KDrama i have ever watched.Definetely it won't win any award for its originality.
But i had so much fun watching it and at the end this is all that matters.

Cons:
A very basic story and plot.Predictable as hell.We are 10 steps ahead of it and can tell how the story will go on at any time.No suspense and thrilling moments.
Flat and one-dimension characters, lacking depth. Not so much of a character development either.
Familiar faces playing familiar characters, the villains in this case.Once you see them you already know they play scummy chars. No surprises.

Pros:
Nice,upbeat and catchy songs.Gives a cheer-up vibe,liked it.
Smooth direction and cinematography.
Good and natural acting.
Is only 12 episodes.
Familiar faces,as a plus.Know what to expect from their performances.
Bad-ass Female characters,in their own way.Always nice to see strong, independent women.
A well balanced Drama between Action and Comedy.
Many fighting scenes and even more funny moments.
Enjoyable and entertaining.
Great chemistry. The team was hilarious.Has many sweet and touching moments too.
Predictable, yes.But Holy Sh*t that twist in the final episode was really wow.I didn't see that coming.Credits for that.

As i always say, first check the Genres and the Tags.
When we see the words Prosecutors,Law,Corruption etc, most likely we expect a very heavy Drama.
"Bad Prosecutor" is not one of those. Is light, funny and easy to watch.
Grab a bucket of Popcorn and have a nice Weekend!

Fast Paced Legal Drama

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? (9.5 /10)
Bad Prosecutor
2022
12 ep
PG13
?:Viki & HiTV

PROS:
◇The comedy
◇Chemistry
◇Acting
◇The twists & turns ??

CONS:
◇Fast healing charcters would get really hurt and then 24 hours or days later be fine. Like fighting & everything! ? You do need to expand your disbelief with that one.
◇Some use of strong language where I watched it they did censor it out but still.

Over all really enjoyed this one will 100% rewatch in a year or two!
Great crime Korean drama & it got me out of my slump!

Synopsis: "The story of a prosecutor who punishes the corrupt with expedience and trickery."

Fun Prosecutor but the ending needed work

Bad Prosecutor was actually a welcome drama when everything else in the genre was so serious and tense. I quite enjoyed watching it and the jokes and the fight scenes. Although there is nothing unique about this drama except that it is a fun and exciting ride so it's a very easy watch.

My only issue is with the ending. The 11th episode felt a bit like the writers were dragging their heels in order to do a quick finish and that annoyed me a bit. There were moments where I felt like the could have taken the bad guy down if they just talked less and took a few more precautions.

Park Jae Kyung was such a dull character. I can't believe he was a prosecutor.

There are some very predictable elements to the story. That's why I can't give this show a 10 star rating. For the most part, I loved it.

An Action-Packed, Fun Ride

1. Cast- Kyung-soo, Lee Se Hee, Yoon Jun Seok, Lee Si Eon, and Joo Bo Young all had crazy chemistry. It was a little hard for me to believe Kim Chang Wan's performance as the villain because I'm too used to him as a kind grandfatherly type. Ha Joon, Kim Tae Woo, Choi Kwang Il all gave nuanced performances

2. Story - There are a few plotholes that you'll have to gloss over and just suspend belief

3. OST - I love, love, love the OST. The soundtrack is so addictive and adds to the exhilaration

4. Camerawork - It makes you feel as if you're Jin Jung himself, or playing a video game or VR.

Overall, super fun. 10/10 would rewatch again. I tried watching One Dollar Lawyer after this but couldn't get used to it. Bad Prosecutor has ruined me.

A good drama to watch!

The story is a cliche, that the good always prevails, but how the story was executed was really good. It gives an out-of-the-box view of how to bring justice, unrealistic but entertaining. Do Kyung So's acting was excellent. It was my first time watching him in a series.

If I could change the story, the father and son story might not be needed as it didn't really give any message or twist in the plot. It would have been better if the story always points to the son as the one who stirs all the situation, but in earlier episodes, you already know that his character will not be a big revelation.

The catch the culprit episodes were too long, but at least it was only 12 episodes, there were some episodes that were dragging, but at least they did not prolong the story too much. I think the 12 episodes were just enough.

I like that Oh Do Hwan redeemed himself in the end.

"immortality didn't beat justice"

This drama has fast paced story and jin jeong character is soo refreshing. Kyungsoo potrayed jin jeong very well. One cast has said that jin jeong eyes has something like crazy one and i admit it. Jin jeong look very determined if he want to do something. I really like the scene jin jeong with wooden sword.
The other cast play their role very good as well. 12 episode feel like nothing and its the only drama that i watch ongoing for this year.
I like the interaction between jin jeong and his friends and its bonus if they explore more with jin jeong and A ra scene. They look good together.

If they really want to do season 2, i on board with that.??

The energy that Doh Kyung Soo (Jin Jung) has plays the main role of Lee Se Hee. I mean he was loud and took on anyone who he didn't trust. Lee Se Hee's (Shin Ah Ra) character stayed by the Bad Prosecutor's side but no romance between the two... I had to laugh! I have never seen a drama where there was no romance. Ha Joon (Oh Do Hwan) Oh dang, he had me fooled. Ha Joon played this character to the extreme of being very believable. The visuals were on point. A lot of deaths in this drama. The last episode was nerve-racking (in a good way)! I didn't think I was going to like it but it was good. I decided to watch it because it did win an award. I had to see what it was about. Thanking all the actors/actresses, writers, directors, and the staff... the music had me sitting upright in my chair. This is a good watch.

NOT ALL BAD IS ALWAYS EVIL

what i learnt from this is that one needs to deal with people in the exact same way like the person they are. growing up i have been taught to treat people the way they treat others, and i abide by this word by word. no bad person can be taught good and fairness by being good and patient with them- and hence they need of people like Jin Jung. and people like Hyeon Kyu who think they rule the world, must be brought flat down on their face and be taught good lesson and get a taste of their own medicine.

*PLOT & CHARACTERS*
the story is one the finest blend of action, comedy, and drama i have come across. it absolutely didnt miss anything at all. there was no such thing as "boring" in it. as the story unfolds, the pace, the acting, the OSTs, and even the supporting roles were so thrilling, funny and satisfying. there were no plotholes to be honest, every queries, every mystery and every confusion (if any) was solved throughout the series. and yes the 12 episodes did absolute justice to the show. i don't thing it can be anymore perfect than what it already is; it made me laugh, it made me sad, it made me want to become a prosecutor- even the scenes with Coco/Snowball were so amazing.
PS. the comic timing of the series, apart from anything else, was at its peak. i re-winded many such scenes as i couldn't laugh enough with watching them just once.
PSS. Jin Jung's sword is symbolic. (i want it though i don't know how to use it)
Jin Jung (i have a crush on this character, not because it was played Do Kyung Soo but because the character is exactly what i'm like- i want to become, at least to some extent), is the most realistic character i have come across in a series for a while now. he isn't righteous at all, he's just makes things work the way he sees them or think is right. "if i see something wrong and i feel it's wrong, i'm going to correct it, in my way and not in the high way"~ this is the type of person Jin Jung is. the most admirable part of him is that he doesn't give up halfway, instead he goes all the way to the end no matter what the result may be, he's unpredictable on top of everything and that makes him so much more hot. lastly, Jung is a kind of person what everyone needs to learn from, a type of worker that every organisation should have.
(i could write a book on him, but im out of time)
the character of Shin Ah Ra is as amazing too. her understanding and standing up and supporting Jung was good. her preservability, sense of responsibility, listening to others opinions and ideas and being a considering character as a senior at work and even as a person is very commendable.
the supporting characters of Oh Do Hwan, Beak Eun Ji, Go Joong Do, Park Jae Kyung and Lee Chul Ki were so lovable and adorable. besides being comic and funny, they were serious, hard working, persistent, and praiseworthy at the same time.

*THE ACTORS*
Do Kyung Soo is just love, period. <3 Le See Hee was a girl crush through and through. and both the actors have such good team work, i was kept hooked to them from the start till the end. Kim Sang Ho was the legend as he always is and i really look forward to See Hee's projects in future. talking about OSTs, they were just *muaah*s all over; be D.O.'s angelic voice singing an intimidating tune or my favorite SUHO's "Call Me Freak" that freaked me in and out and made me sway and want to fight.

BAD PROSECUTOR is realistic and a must watch, for its story, cast, acting, chemistry, team work, thriller, crimes and justice.

PS. I'M SWAYING AND CLINGING MY OWN WOODEN SWORD!!!! Thank You.

Bad Prosecutor: A Must Watch

I started watching to support my bias Doh Kyungsoo but i was hooked from the first minute. We can understand the lead character's motivation after the first few minutes of the first episode.
The story is engaging, the writing is witty and the actors are amazing. Doh Kyungsoo amazed me again with how versatile he is. He can certainly do any genre
The Bad Prosecutor is fast paced and there is no wasted moment or filler moments.
I would recommend it to anyone who loves a well written and funny drama.
It deseves a big round of applause. It certainly deserves a bigger audience

Crazy funny drama

If you turn off your brain about the main character not getting any consequences for his actions then it's good. It's not your run of the mill court room drama. I like the twists and turns in the plot. I think the main character should have been older. To me the actor looks in his 20's so that's a little distracting because it's so implausible that some one that young could be so accomplished . Although I will admit that I have liked most of it. So turn off the reality check and I think it is a fun crazy drama.
