Hope or Dope 2 is a continuation of Hope or Dope so they are the same show, just different seasons. However, both were released in 2022.

Both dramas tell about high school student and drugs. The characters in the drama are also seduced by the profits earned from that illegal business.

It's not bullying here, but same dark high school vibes.
the girl supplies drugs, and other kids are in this loop they can't get out of and fight for normal lives.

Both dramas have a similar plot move, related to partying and drugs
Tho one is about a drug dealer teen and another is about an influencer walking between the lines of the rich and the Mormons

Adolescent leads, Independent & cold female lead with a pure male lead. The genre and storytelling styles r very different tho.

In both dramas:
- they encounter a stash of some kind of illegal thing (weed HOD vs money to be laundered AMF)
- dysfunctional family of main character
- end up getting involved with larger groups of bad people due to their decisions
- outsiders end up getting involved
- their decisions land them and family in danger
