Very interesting story
I watched this on Apple TV. It's a multilingual story about wine, making wine, drinking wine, family drama, crazy parents, childhood trauma and overcoming it, and friendships that are developed out of adversity.Yamashita Tomohisa as Issei is his usual stoic, distant, cold self (and that's not a bad thing!). He's fascinating to watch.
Fleur Geffrier as Camille Leger really has to grow on you as a character. She's a mess, but with parents like yours, you can understand why, but by the end I really liked her growth.
Watanabe Makiko as Issei's mother - WOW, what a piece of work! It takes some good acting skill to bring about that kind of hate for a character.
The story was very interesting, and I absolutely loved the ending.
I know this doesn't bother a lot of people, but my enjoyment was REALLY lessened by all the cursing.

Good Enough
" Drops of God " is an international series that focuses on family, wine, and the mysteries of the past that slowly come to light. The drama is quite intriguing, as it peels off slowly, adding more and more clues to the story as the episodes go by.
In addition, the characters were interesting, especially the side characters that supported the leads and complimented them nicely. But the two leads were those that stole the spotlight, as their chemistry truly shone in the final episodes.
On that note, the performances were enjoyable by everyone in the cast.
Finally, the pace was masterfully handled and the ending was satisfying.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Intriguing story, multicultural settings
Initially, I picked this show because of Yamapi. It turned out to be good, so much better than I anticipated. It is an adaptation of a manga with the same title, but if you read the manga you'd probably be disappointed because the characters and story in the show are quite different from the manga.
In terms of the story, there are some manga-like tropes that are unescapable here. I mean, if you've read a lot of manga or watched a lot of anime, you could probably guess the outcome of each tests in the story. Still, it is quite an entertaining and heart-warming story overall.
Acting and cast are excellent. I think the multi-language and accents are quite additional charms to this series.
I don't think there is any notable OST that clings to my mind, and while it was enjoyable, one-time watching is quite enough for me----nothing quite appealing for a rewatch.
