It was pretty interesting.

For me it was really nice watch, the plot executed in a good way, there were quite a few plot twists...tho the ending was a bit different from what i expected.
It was kind of a cliche from some aspects. Not just the ending but some parts of the felt that way.

Other than that, the background, acting, emotions, dialogues, were very well done. Shin Hye sun portrayed Han So ra very well, so well that it felt really.
And trigger warning, cuz there are some scenes with animal ab*se , so watch with caution.

More CCTV?

From beginning to end, the film maintains a high level of tension and suspension. It often happens that a movie has a great start, but it gets diluted in the second or third part and then I can't wait for the movie to end. But the director managed to introduce new interesting elements throughout the film so that the whole film has something special to offer. The beginning is interesting because we get to know the main character and his unusual hobby of following other people's lives. The plot is interesting because through a sudden event, it gradually reveals hidden details from the life of the protagonists, and the conclusion of the film leaves us something to think about the personality of the main character and thus completes the whole story. The actors all did a great job here.

The film also has a social message about CCTV surveillance, which is useful when you need to find a criminal, but too many cameras also provide opportunities for greater manipulation. In today's world, virtual life on SNS (social networks) can be very brutal and has a huge impact on people's real lives.

Not as great as expected

I was sooooo looking forward to this movie (because Shin Hae Sun stars in it). I only knew it was a thriller movie partially about social medias, nothing else more.

The story is well written but it is predictable. Even is there is twists, you see them coming and guess what ?! What you’re expecting/guessing is exactly what happens. Same with the end… Even if storyline is consistent there is no surprise.
So this is not a bad movie but not a good one either actually.

The casting is good, ML and inspector are great.
Shin Hae Sun is amazing, no matter what kind of characters she portrays, she is ALWAYS great and her acting skills are ALWAYS impressive (the way she plays the scene when she gets arrested is soooo good !!!) She’s definitely one of my 3 favorite actresses <3

To summary I’m a bit disappointed because I expected this movie to be better than it actually is but I enjoyed it (especially Shin Hae Sun acting skills !)

No rewatch value for me (I’d rather rewatch shows of main actors) and didn’t pay attention to OST

Stalker meets Psycho, Average Thriller - Watch it for the Main Leads

This had been on my watchlist for Shin Hye Sun & Byun Yo Han & because of their sheer acting brilliance I rated this otherwise average thriller +1 than deserved. The film offers a captivating narrative with a steady pace, twists and turns, and a suspenseful soundtrack. However, it falls short of being truly memorable and often feels reminiscent of famous Hollywood movie adapted from a book, of similar theme/genre.

What sets this movie apart, though, is its poignant focus on the effects of social media on real life and the unusual habit of the male lead that spirals into trouble. It masterfully portrays how some individuals become so consumed by projecting a perfect life on social networks that they turn delusional, harming themselves and those around them. It also sheds light on how what one person might perceive as a harmless hobby could be viewed as disturbingly stalkerish behavior.

The ending was particularly striking, highlighting the absence of a true victim as the lines between protagonist and antagonist blur, each believing they were taking the right actions. It's a thought-provoking commentary on modern society's obsessions and the thin line between right and wrong.

Overall: Average Thriller - watch it if you don't have anything else AND/OR you are a fan like me of the two main leads ❤️

Pretty much a standard thriller, no more, no less.

When I first heard about this film, I was eager to watch it, thinking that it would be a bit of an expose of the mental mess that is (anti)social media. Unfortunately, it barely addresses this or the misery the illusions of online "reality" cause, instead opting to present a tale we've all seen many times before... or, at least, it certainly feels like it!

The performers all do their roles well, the camera-work, sound, music is all fine... the problem is: nothing is even close to being exceptional.; from the bog standard script to the male lead's almost dopey face throughout, there's nothing about this film that makes it really stand out or say, "Watch me."

Ultimately, this was a very average film but I gave it a 6/10 just because it did touch upon how psychologically damaging (anti)social media is, and the female lead looking so gorgeous throughout is always nice from a straight man's point of view, regardless as to how superficial and/or sexist that may seem.
At least I'm honest.

fun crazy, not overboard

I really liked this, it was different, crazy, the comical timing was on point, a makjang in events but still entertaining and not too over the top gore or extreme traumatic

I’ve been scared by old kmovies, like some just go outside the human capabilities of evil and imagination just for the sake of being different and special but it’s just disgusting, and this wasn’t

the movie starts with our "stalker" ml, it's not a happy movie with "good" people
as we dive deeper, we realize ml isn't the worst of the evils, but not everything goes as planned and it keeps creating more problems
Like for the lvl of crazy they had, they also had that unbelievable trust of the cop lady to balance it out
later with the twist, the villain is always 10 steps ahead but our scared unhinged ml doesn't do things as "planned" and it creates more and more problem

But it wasn’t rainbows and sunshine, she didn’t trust him out of the goodness of her heart, and she wasn’t picking sides

if they were real psycho they'd have the ml fall for the fl and make it more nitty gritty but it didn't, it wasn't obsession, it was fascination and he loved infos not her

Wasted Time: A Disappointing Watch

In all honesty, I found the movie to be incredibly boring and confusing. It felt like an endless slog with no clear direction, and I kept waiting for something – anything – to happen. Unfortunately, that moment never came. In my opinion, this is one of the worst films I have ever watched, and I genuinely felt that it was a complete waste of my time.
The reviews praising it are lyinggg; they're very misleading. Perhaps I missed something that others picked up on, but I can't help but feel that the overwhelming positive feedback doesn’t reflect the reality of the experience.

Korean Gone Girl

Gone Girl very much inspires this movie. From the framing to getting an obsessed person to help her, many of her moves were directly inspired by Gone Girl. Gone Girl had some good and unique cinematography but the cinematography here was like any other movie. At least in gone girl, the guy was just an asshole, here it is a full-blown psycho stalker. It almost felt like the movie was trying to show him to be a good guy here?? The police officer said something at the end but the subs i got were pretty bad so i did not get it properly. .

I had high hopes

Yo Han was awesome in Black Out earlier this year and I adore Hye Sun in all 9 of her dramas I've watched but for me this, just like Target, was a disappointment. Not a bad film by any means but definitely underwhelming in my opinion. There is a lack of tension that is palpable given where the story needs us to go and it does a poor job on delivery. Whether this is due the writing, directing, editing, music or a mix of these it's down to you.
The cast was good though and it definitely hasn't put me off watching these 2 in the future.
