Lovely short series

This is very well-written, acted, and produced - it's very visual and takes full advantage of the medium to tell the story with real economy of force.

The story is non-linear, but easy to follow. The writing and acting manages to effectively convey through small details how the boys feel about each other, and the dynamic of their relationship. The ending was perfect for their story.

The acting is understated, but the tension is there when it needs to be. There is a coffee metaphor, but it's used effectively and we aren't beaten over the head with it.

I would recommend this - but if you watch it, don't try to judge it as you would a 12 hour-long episode series. It's a completely different type of story told in a much more visual way.

Slow paced romance in 30 minutes or less

Yep you read it right, this short series, has a lot of nice moments and fluff but still manages to feel slooow, I actually had to watch it again tome sure I got it all right but it is basically people doing stuff and waiting in more or less silence...

Between the silence the leads relationship ass opposites and long term friends is established by showing time skips and moments in time, where they are playful, caring and even mange to fit in a fight... Again all in 30 minutes or less...

The leads do have a bunch of awkward Charm and do a good job at showing that it can be hard to say the words love out loud. However I am not fully convinced that they are much more than just really good friends. The show was however better the second time (in a row).

Oh, wait and the boys even sleep wearing hoodies so lots and lots of hoodies but no umbrellas

The storyline is not that really good.

I think that this 2 - 6 mins each episode series will be good if the story is longer and detailed. The whole series is quite good but its kinda awkward at some scene. The one main lead (owner of the cafe) acts kinda awkward but it's still okay because at some point his acting looks natural. This one main is good enough to act in a series though he sometimes lack in facial expression. Overall, the couple has the chemistry and the visual that Im looking for in a series, I just really hope that they will have another project or just a remake of this series, a much detiled and longer. I literally watch this in one sitting, I feel like I watch a trailer or something. I do understand that maybe it's a low budget series and Im hoping that soon they can make this as a big project.

A Poetic and Beautiful Story

Sometimes things simply hit you with a softness and a gentleness that you do not always feel it but you know it is there. This is such a story that is stunning and so beautifully told. It is a story of two men living in quiet solitude. Watching this BL series, for me, was like listening to a Gregorian Chant. You do not need a lot of notes, just enough so they blend in harmony to make beautiful music. And this is what happens here. Two people in softness connect with such beauty on an intimate level that their lives sing with love.

The Love That Kind Of Speaks Its Name

Overall: These six 2-5 min episodes have a few cute moments but don't really satisfy in the end. Watched on Gagaoolala.

Content Warnings: none

What I Liked:
- for what I'm assuming is low budget, I thought the production value and acting is fairly good. I watched the Making Of video and it was one of the actors' first time acting.
- there is an apology in the story which I always appreciate

Room For Improvement:
- I wish they had had the flashback in episode 3 be the first episode so the viewer better understood their relationship from the beginning.
- In episode 4 why was one in a bed and the other sleeping on the floor? If they only had 1 bedroom, wouldn't they either have separate twin beds or a large bed and sleep in the same bed???
- why did they stop living together? It would save money and they were good friends...
- I would have liked the ending more if they had just reversed it, if the other guy had been the one to initiate things

The love that dare not speak its name
