When I tell you that this show drew me in. Because I was just so invested in the school. I mean, it is every part of it. Saying the investigation figuring out what happened to his uncle. In the perfect fix, it struggle and I couldn't like it. I can't form like words to tell you how much. I love that, and then the figure out that the main character was doing all that. Didn't show that there was actually a curse. The weather occurs, but they didn't, so they could stop being bad bad. But, Hey, they didn't really want trust code, and I get it. Nobody wants to dress app, but they can't go away and go and go. I don't like to soak it this way, but I know it's not what I want. The romance was, hands down, amazing. The first cow is amazing, woohoo. I just couldn't. I've been rambling and rambling rambling, but this is really good. Oh, and it deserves the $10 and some fee I sold that somebody put a 5 and I just don't understand these users like what happened and I think they didn't really pay attention to the show. This is a show that you generally have to pay attention to to understand stuff. If it has like a big butt, you have, you generally need to pay attention. If you don't pay attention, you're not gonna understand stuff. And if you don't understand stuff, you're not really gonna like the show if you don't understand anything. But I haven't heard of me. I'm always watching star in my Instagram. Mine, sorry, am I my bad? Pay attention to the show, and maybe you'll get it. That's you saw. I pushed myself to wash some shoes. Man, I love this voice input name. I said wash some shoes, my gosh. I meant to show my words disappeared. I want people to suck they do not read this because it's just me rambling, you don't even know what I'm saying because you can hear me right app next to the Lake you can't even hear me right app next to to link. You can even hear me right up next to the 22 next leagues. Gabriel, next league's gabriel Henry. You gave me a Harry accident 22 next week. You Gabriel Henry? What are you doing here? I don't know, gave you all. I just randomly popped up here well. You gotta go ahead of me, but why, Gabriel? Because you can't be here. Hadn't Gabriel, you're not making sense, man. You gotta leave alright Henry mcgabriel why mcgabriel I said buck Henry I need you to believe you can't be here man, give me a reason why I can't be here. Joe joe, who is joe joe Mama henry? I AMNIN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW
Like a good book, i cant seem to put this down or get excited for each new episode. The social concepts being discussed to the murder-mystery to the cast, Khao to First to Neo to Louis to AJ and even Pawin I must say this is amazing. The sexual tension between the couples are doing me in. AkkAyan is raising my blood pressure with their sexy tit-for-tat and Ayan's seduction warching how Akk fights the inevitable is everything. But im here for TuaKan. The second couple is everything i didn't know i needed. I am in love with each pairing and while i know what the cliche BL plot line will be for TuaKan, im sad because i feel Tua's hurt coming like a runaway train on the tracks. But i will keep watching and rewatching until new episodes are released.
GREAT SHOW 👍 👌

Acting on othet level
The acting in the serie is a whole other level, I would have give it more than 10 stars if it's possible... I have watched first in not me and his acting was sooo good, but in the eclipse, it feels like a whole damn other universe... His eyes can tell anything, his emotions touch my heart directly and makes me feel all the feelings he wants to deliver, Kaotung is an amazing actor as well, when he cries I want to cry too and his smile is so beautiful 🥺I watched Love in the air before the eclipse and tought I can't forget it and will be hard for me to start any new serie after it, but the eclipse is a good one in this kind of situations 💕

SPECTACULAR SERIES GREAT CONCEPT
For me, The Eclipse is unique and fresh, which blends mystery, politics, and school drama in a way that feels different from the usual romance-focused stories. Set in a strict all-boys school where strange things start happening whenever an eclipse occurs, the show slowly unravels secrets about power, rebellion, and identity. What I love about the series is the chemistry between the leads, Ayan and Ak. It is one of the show’s biggest strengths. Their dynamic starts as tension-filled and slowly develops into something deeper, and it’s honestly really fun (and emotional) to watch. The slow-burn romance pays off, especially as the characters grow and challenge each other. I always have a soft spot for enemies-to-lovers BL series, so when I discovered The Eclipse, I dove in immediately, and it never disappointed me.
What makes The Eclipse stand out is that it’s not just about the romance. It tackles real themes like school oppression, conformity, and standing up for what’s right. There’s a bit of suspense throughout, which keeps you hooked, and the writing is solid for the most part, though it does get a little dramatic at times.
Visually, it’s well-shot and moody in the right ways, and the soundtrack sets the tone perfectly. Some side characters could have used more development, but overall, it’s a well-rounded series.

So Good~
VERY SLIGHT SPOILERSBasically: 10
If you're in the mood for a bit of a more serious high school romance focused more on healing and growing with cute banter and fun tension, then this is definitely right up your alley~ If you're looking for something more supernatural or paranormal, then this might not be the thing for you~ Also, if you're going through some things involving depression or grief, I'd wait a bit on this, because ooooooooh boy~
Story: 10
I went into this super excited for the premise, and, while it wasn't as supernatural as I originally expected, there were still a few plot twists that threw me for a LOOP, which was awesome lmao~ I wouldn't say it's groundbreaking, but the use of mental health and the importance of grief, not to mention how our idols aren't always what we think or should actually like, is such an interesting take in a show about high schoolers. There were points that literally had me hitting the pause button to take a moment, and it was because of both the need to squeal at the chemistry and the need to take a breath from all of the emotions. Props to the actors~
Acting/Cast: 10
They're so fucking good lmao I don't know how else to say it. Like, the main actors who play Ay and Akk are some of my favorites that have been cast as side characters for years, so for them to star in something together as the leads, you can bet I was going to support them all else be damned. But they were BRILLANT. The way Ay expressed his grief and Akk's expression as he worked through his feelings about literally everything? Ugh. 10/10
Music: 9
The OST is good, of course, and the background music is also perfectly place. I usually rank the music based on how often I wanna add all of the song to my playlist, and this one only had the opening (sang by the actor who played Ay) that really caught my attention, but that's a personal preference and not at all reflected in the way the background music literally made me anxious in the right spots and scream in happiness in others~
Rewatch Value: 10
This is a biased rating because I love the main couple and have already watched it a second time by the time I decided to start this review, so there's that lol I think is one of those dramas that you notice more the more times you watch it, so I definitely think the rewatch value is hiiiiiigh with this one~
Overall: 10
I thought this show was a pleasant surprise. There wasn't any toxic female characters, no toxic friends, the side couple was cute and showed more than just a handful of times, and there was even more on a friend that didn't necessarily have a romantic partner, so it felt very rounded out and involved. Plus, if nothing else, the CHEMISTRY between the ACTORS UGH. I loved it~

What is a solar eclipse?
I am being so honest, I don't know what a solar eclipse is. This was really good; the average rating from me was 9.2 out of 10 stars. The plot was good because my ass was getting very emotionally invested. They could have dragged it out for one or two more episodes for some more plot, I hate when shows do that, but this show needed it. The end was very abrupt—super mega happy, but very abrupt. It was a good drama; I was getting flipped on my head a lot at the end. The show was light work up until episode 7. From episode 1 to episode 7, they were running circles around each other, which is annoying. But that's okay. Because their chemistry and the fact it was still interesting during all of those episodes. It kept me hooked and really wanting more actually, which means they did a good job lol.
I am going to go to my Instagram close friends story and looking to see what else I need to add to this review. Yeah, This show got a lot of 9's for the episodes and one was a 9.5 (the last episode) and the second from last was a 10 because I got very emotionally invested and needed my questions answered lol.
Okay, starting off with the first episode and Ayan coming out of the bathroom with that tattoo, I feel in love with his character right then and there. That annoying little brat—god, I can't get enough of him while watching the show and now I can't get enough of him even after I finished it.
Akk has control issues, but that's not his fault; he needs that scholarship money, and I respect it. And Ayan likes to be controlled, well not at first, but he caves. They both do. Ayan also liked getting yelled at, and Akk yelled at him. Boom, perfect relationship. Already off to a fantastic start with these two.
As someone who goes to a private school and has been going to private schools my whole life, I can confirm that this is how the private school down the street (literally) from ours is (not us though). It's scary, lol. The uncle dies, or is already dead before the show even started; I thought that was Ayan's dad at first but figured out it wasn't.
These two had some serious tension with all these damn nicknames, the glances, the gulps, and the not knowing where to look. My god, these two Great acting, really, though. There was a lot of crying near the end, and the actors all did a really good job portraying those scenes. I could really feel the emotion through the screen.
Thua and Kan (i think), bro Kan was fighting for him right off the bat, and we love him for that. I don't know if it's prefects or perfects, but they are like the student body but higher, and they think they are hall monitors with all this damn walking. The height differences between our two couples made my day every time I saw them; they were so great.
Wat, Akk, and Kan—I fell in love with these three. They were so like able (some slightly more than others) and fun, and they just put on the front for the future and didn't even really believe it to begin with. Cult antics are all I have to say, that's just private schools though. They are for the rich, the elite, the smart or you are there on scholarship (me). I think they were supposed to be in high school. The principal and Chadok had no reason to put this much pressure on high school seniors (I think), who are literally leaving in a few months. These bitches just need to leave at that point. Take a few senior skip days dawg.
Nothing changes if you don't make sacrifices; that was one of the big lessons in this, which was a good lesson. Did they ever tell us the Suppalo (or whatever this damn school is called) rules? I don't recall. And what were the protesters fighting for? I don't remember either. They were fighting for change but what exactly?
That show had me doing double takes at the end and having an identity crisis near the end lol. That show had me thinking that I was lying to myself about the characters being good and bad. Oh my god. I recommend it; it's pretty good, actually. It deserves all the hype; the plot is not bad, and I don't know why people are flaming it. Pretty accurate too, lol (more or less). Good one. I will watch the our skyy in a bit. I was craving this show and really excited out of nowhere to watch it, so I'm happy I did. Okay bye!

Great portration of emotions and natural character development
This series was awesome regarding two main things:1. Character development - natural nad not rushed. The best example was Akk. I think I have never seen better character development than this. Really masterpiece.
2. Emotions - Akk/First showed emotions as genuinely as he could. If you would look just in his eyes - they will tell you everything. One of the best emotions delivery I have seen.
For these two reasons I will watch it again. Chemistry between the two main characters was great. Support couple was great too.
I disliked the amount of protests and course story.
Oh, yes and i really liked the underwater kiss :D.

10000000000 out of 10
I have nothing more to say than this was perfect to me.(Apparently I have to say more to post this review 😝)
Don’t question whether you should watch it or not. In the words of Nike, JUST DO IT. I know some people didn’t dig the storyline much, but I thought it was really good and interesting. And I absolutely loooove FirstKhaotung. They totally nailed this and made this series amazing. I saw Only Friends first and their amazing acting and chemistry is what made me want to watch them in this series. And they did not let me down.

Wow!!!
This show really smacked me in the face, I was not expecting this level of drama or this level of greatness!I thought I had this show all figured out, but those plot twists actually got me. I love KhaoFirst. I actually came here to cleanse myself from their ANGST over in Only Friends. I'm glad I didn't know about this show until now because I needed it! 😂 It made me laugh, cry, smile, and.... RAGE.
Let's go!
Me vs Thua
This guy deserved Boston, not Khan.
I'm not proud of anything Thua did. He can kick rocks tbh. If he knew all of that he should've taken the time to understand and talk to Akk directly. It's hard for me to care about Thua's outburst and plotting when the audience has seen Akk's realization and struggles. I don't support him being made a villain. Yes what he did was so wrong, but they're literally supposed to be high schoolers. It's even easier at that age to be groomed and manipulated. He was basically brainwashed with cult mentality. - However Akk should have listened when he was advised by Aye to tell the truth before it was told for him. I wish he had. But Thua still sucks for what he did. He used everyone, lied, outed his "friends", and he was not even sorry.
Aye took time to confront Akk and ALSO understand. I dont think he intended to help Akk cover it up. He continued to encourage him to tell the truth. The only time he wasn't pushing it was when Akk's mental health was at risk once he realized what he'd done. Are we forgetting unaliving ourselves is a major plot point?! May Thua be perpetually single, step on a lego every day, and eat bricks for all of his meals. Yelling at this fictional character has been therapeutic. 😂
The only things keeping this from a 10/10 are:
-Thua's step dad is not fully explained or resolved. They made it seem like he was being abused and then all of a sudden it was okay?
-Why did the teacher have that picture of D and the other professor just tucked in a book? Everyone's outing everyone here too lol.
-Thua gets barely any backlash for what he did. He keeps his boo and his friends.
-Why did the main teacher puppeteering never really apologize? or stand up sooner? His toxic behavior towards Akk is swept away by him dating Aye's late uncle. Nothing changed other than people finding out.

The Eclipse - My Personal Opinion
The Eclipse is a Boys Love Series which is always recommended whenever I look for BL Series to watch. The story is great, because of how it portrays what happens in real life, wherein the government or in this series the school administration is doing everything they can to make the image of their school "good", even if there are lapses, traditions, and norms that must be adjusted and updated to what the current society and generation needs. The series also displays strong protest against homophobia, giving the viewers its message of accepting same sex relationship, which is sadly still not normalized for a lot of people and country. The actors did a great job portraying each of their characters. The main characters, First and Khaotung, did very well of portraying an enemy to lovers trope. Some scenes of First really gave me an ache in the heart because his character really need to choose between his good future or doing what is right. The side characters are also given a decent amount of limelight, explaining their own stories and the battles they are going through.
I kind of expected the plot twist in the latter episodes (about Ayan's uncle). Their part kind of made me sad, because this is the reality. Not all of the same sex relationship have a good journey and ending.
In totality, The Eclipse, is a must recommended BL Series to watch. Every episodes are worth it to watch and it will not waste your time.
