a lawyer that goes through hard times but becomes successful. the male lead loses contact with his family for a time then eventually finds them again.

has the same sort of feel about it. the male lead looks for his mother that had gone missing.

The both have lawyers as the male lead. Both lawyers lose someone they love. In Again my life the lawyer loses his parents. Where in the Secret house the lawyer loses his mom. In both series the lawyers deal with and have their lives changed by corrupt officials.
