Both are boy idol survival shows airing at the same time, but with a very different approach. If you are really annoyed with Mnet's 'evil editing' in 'Boys Planet' and want to watch some really high level performances of experienced boy groups, try 'Peak Time' for a change.

It is also kpop survival show. There are contestants that make the show fun with judges who work with them/train them to be better versions.

Can be considered the previous season of BP.

Boys Planet is way more similar to this one than to Girl Planet 999 (male trainees, no cell system, typical A, B, C, D,F ranking but with stars instead, same tasks).

So if you like Boys Planet, you'll like this one too.

They just changed the logo from a triangle to a circle, the name and the "center" role in "killing part".

Very similar to BP but emphasises more on friendship between trainees than competition. Has tons of very interesting side content (english subbed!).

Also, it's very high budget so the sets are stunning.

They both are survival shows about competing to debut in the final group. They both follow are large amount of trainies trying there hardest to show there talent. They both are about K-pop. They both have a similar way of grouping the trainies in terms of talent.

Idol Producer is a chinese survival show from Iqiyi.
It's the first chinese of produce 101 and was a big hit at the time.

This one has a lot of trainees that became extremely famous in China due to it.

It is also a survival show. The contestants compete to be in a 7 member group for Be lift entertainment a part of HYBE.

Camp Zero base one is similar to boys' Planet because Zerobase One was formed from the survival show boys planet. It was about how 93 male trainees fought for their positions to debut. With only 18 left in the final round, they had a big stage at the last episode and 9 members were selected to form the new group and shine brightly.

"Planet B" is expected to be the next season of the planet series Mnet survival shows.
