A nefarious duke's plot to kidnap the beautiful daughter of an aged general is foiled by a fighter who spirits the girl away to another kingdom after the general is killed in the melee. When the girl's rescuer dies, the lovestruck duke makes another attempt, but is again defeated, this time by a man who wins the girl's hand in marriage.
