An amazing fun drama that brings to many smiles
It's a delight!
It's funny cute and adorable!
After a long time i have finally enjoyed a drama to the core.... With all the recent ones I have been skipping my way through the episodes but this one is just amazing.... I didn't fast forward even for once!
I usually don't enjoy shin ha kyun dramas( his beyond evil is a must watch though) but here he is just amazing, his acting really brings out the character amazingly..... He is over the top but definitely not cringe and makes the scene feel alive when u watch him!
I have always loved won jin ah ( my first kdrama heroine, her just between lovers is out of this world) and she definitely doesn't disappoint!
I was very surprised by how amazing lee yoo jin was here.... He definitely has a long way to go! Even though this isn't a romance drama but they definitely have great chemistry!!
Special shoutout to Carol Phillip jessi and all the other characters ❤
And the supporting cast is just as amazing with all having well written characters!
The direction, the bg score and in fact the opening sequence of the drama is just so fun to watch!!!
This definitely is a must watch drama..... Highly recommended.
U definitely will enjoy this series... A light hearted comedy with adorable characters!!!

It is funny and adorable.
I like this drama very much. Casual and fun. The actors are also very lovable. Steve's character in particular is very funny. And Ashley the money bug is cute too. The office experience in a start-up organization is mixed with jokes. The young romance in the office is also cute. The couples of Ashley & Jay and Carol & Philip.I have watched up to 8 episodes and i really like it. In the next episodes, we will see Steve's marriage life and i think Ashley & Jay are going to date. I can't wait to see what kind of mistake Steve and his employees will face. It's only 12 episodes, so I'm looking forward to it. I also really like the Ost songs. I highly recommend you to watch this sitcom drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Exaggerated scenarios that had strangely wholesome vibes.
I think the best part of the show is the fact it’s not really dumb, even though it might seem like it is at first. The writers had a decent grasp on social media, start up and internet culture and took a proper jabs at the proper topics. At the same time, this is exactly the reason a lot of people would not find the show that interesting. You need to know the basics of the topics to understand the absurdity that is presented. It does not go into great details into the topics, so don’t get too scared. I found a lot of the jokes and plots fun and entertaining even though I don't have a professional background in any related areas. Spending enough time in the right corners of the internet was enough.
The tone of the show slowly shifted from being just a workplace comedy to focusing more on the characters and their personal struggles, while keeping the fun and entertaining tones. It’s not one of the shows that start as a comedy to lean into melo later - it’s a crack of a show from start to finish, the topics just slightly shift.
Another selling point were the eccentric characters that still managed to be relatable. Jay was probably the most down to earth person - using him as a way to introduce the Maccom and its employees was a perfect choice - Jay and viewers were on the same boat, trying to stay afloat with a peculiar crew.
When I talk about the characters, I have to compliment the whole cast for their phenomenal performances. How they were able to make me believe a workplace like this one could actually exist is beyond me. They all had such a consistent performance, no matter how out of the box and ridiculous the characters’ and their actions were, I just accepted them as a norm.
The production value was great. Both intros were as absurd as the whole show and for that I am grateful - they stayed on brand. It is an office show though, so do not expect some beautiful screenshot worthy scenes.
What Unicorn lacked was the substance. As much as I enjoyed the episodes as I was watching them, there was not much inviting me to start the episodes in the first place. It’s a show you love as you watch, but forget it exists in between the episodes.
Overall, great watch if you are interested in the subject. Might be a bit boring and ridiculous if you have a high level of expertise or know nothing about it.

Good Enough
Korean Drama " Unicorn " is an office drama with a feel good vibe. The drama is full of funny moments, with a light mood overall. Each episode presents a different adventure of the characters, who have smooth chemistry between them, which aids to the entertainment of the story.
The performances, in addition, were all great by all the actors and actresses of the cast.
The pace, finally, is quick, but didn't rushed the story.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Cornless Behavior
The main leads were quite good with their performance and dynamic, while the supporting cast were a mixed bag between bad and decent. It's a sitcom so the main selling point would be its comedy. It was interesting initially with a good pace but it didn't last for too long before things started to get repeated while some jokes remained in the bland and quirky territory. Aside from its comedy, there was a little bit of story going on which was brought into the front in its second half. With it, there was a shift into a regular drama tone, and personal relationships became the focus. Also, for some reason they found it necessary to pair multiple people together, they should've wrote more material within its initial theme instead. Was this review helpful to you?
Fun watch, nothing meaningful
the strongest aspect of this show are the characters. they all have their own unique personalities. the production is very fluffy and makes the whole experience a pleasant watch. There is Romance in this Drama but i wouldn't call it that really, the relationships between the characters is non existent. this flaw is overshadowed by the amazing cast which gives a false sense of bond in the show.
every plot point gets resolved without any repercussions, its a very episode to episode kinda thing. i feel like a show like this tried to go the "the office" way on how the jokes and world is built, just the lack of episodes and time to make everything seem more complete makes me give this show a lesser rating.
it is a fun watch, pretty short with 12 episodes and light romance.

Unicorn Episode 1 is a hoot!
This show is excellent. I had no idea what to expect but it's very funny and I love Shin Ha-Kyun as the CEO Steve of the weird and mysterious Macom company. Many funny moments. The dialogue was quick and sharp and I'd watch it again to catch some of the jokes I missed."Jay" starts a new job at a startup company but Steve, the CEO who recruited him online is eccentric and childish at times. Jay worries he made a mistake. Steve is a little nuts. He calls for "scrums" constantly which involves the staff standing the entire time. Jay's feet are aching and he welcomes his friends' invitation for a quick meal after work. However, they take him to a crazy place where everyone is eating standing!
Steve's an interesting character hiding deep insecurities and dark fears. The scene with Steve and his useless therapist made me laugh out loud. This show pokes fun at Instagram, the Internet, the wannabes and therapy. And everything we consider so important these days, Can't wait for episode two!
