i dont know

I didn't like it even though the story was different but it wasn't good for me I was able to finish the drama because of the actors' intelligence or because of their love for the work but I was forced to play In my opinion, it should not have been much better if love didn't hurt to raise the name of the drama, understanding love I mean....and what was interesting was the end of the drama But you could have gone forward in the drama . I thought it was very simple In my opinion, the totality of the drama changed my opinion at the beginning of the best but my opinion is that it was an unexpected drama and that made it more excellent

Don’t waste time

One line of story been dragged so much with unnecessary twists and turns. I only watched 4 episodes completely and now only the last few seconds of preview with a little hope of the drama being interesting. But unfortunately no. Acting no doubt but without proper story what’s the point of so much efforts. DONT WASTE TIME!

Watching this felt like waiting for paint to dry... at least the soundtrack tried its best.

"THE INTEREST OF LOVE : 4.5/10 – A SLOG MASQUERADING AS 'REALISM'"

🔊 THE ONLY SAVING GRACES:
That soundtrack – The music deserved a better show.

A few raw moments – When it accidentally remembered it was a drama.

Asian workplace realism – The only relatable thing in this snail-paced misery.

💀 WHY IT’S ACTUALLY TERRIBLE:
The pace – Like watching cement dry while someone whispers "feel something."

The characters – All the emotional depth of cardboard cutouts in a wind tunnel.

The non-plot – 16 episodes of will-they-won’t-they with zero payoff.

☠️ THE "I DROPPED IT 3 TIMES" EXPERIENCE:
First try: "Maybe it gets better?"

Second try: "Why am I doing this to myself?"

Third try: "I’d rather reorganize my sock drawer."

🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
"A masterclass in how to make yearning feel like watching paint peel." Only watch if: You enjoy self-punishment or need insomnia relief. Otherwise? Run.

I was fooled by Netflix. The trailers made me felt that something exciting, sexy, forbidden and dangerous was gonna happen in that damn bank. But nothing!
I never recovered of my disappointed expectations. They could have robbed that bank to make it at least interesting! But no!

The lead man was just a fool to stay focused on that woman! The lead female was annoying, I would put her on the top 5 of my most hated female leads. She did dirty to two men. She hated everybody, her parents and herself included. This drama was my 5th drama with that actress, I give 3 chances to anyone before coming to a conclusion…so now I can, without shame say that I don’t like her acting, I dislike everything she has done even in KDramas that I love (eg Don’t dare to dream). She cannot portrayed emotions correctly and fully, her face remains stiff with those moody lips whatever she has to play. Her pitch is also very high and childish. I even laughed when she was cast as Merteuil (cannot remember the Korean name they gave in that adaptation) in the Great Seductor as she has nothing to play such a part!!!

I hated the dirty trick they played on the viewers using the pretend hotel scene during the wedding as perpetual flashback…but this never happened!!!! I was screaming “why ????”
I was annoyed also by the fact that aside Moon Ga-young I liked the other actors and they played correctly but the story was so frustrating. I don’t mind a slow pace but here where they wanted to go wasn’t making sense. I have FMO but I dropped out after 14 episodes and didn’t even watch the last scene as I knew it would disappoint me.
I was frustrated because of the turn of each event in that drama, maybe I was too concerned and could stand seeing people making bad choices after bad choices.

If I had to give one good reason to watch this one: Keum Sae-rok (the other woman)!!!

Realistic but frustrating

To be honest, I watched this drama a long time ago, but at the time I hadn’t discovered reviews or MDL yet! 🤣

The acting was really good, I have to say. Although I’m not usually a fan of Moon Ka Young based on the dramas I’ve watched so far, she played her role very well here. Yoo Yeon Seok was excellent as always, and Keum Sae Rok felt very realistic too.

The plot, however, was something I didn’t like. Okay, I understand that it’s a realistic drama and that every character had their own personal issues, but still… the indecisiveness made me furious at times. I couldn’t stand how much Ahn Soo Young focused on the hesitation she saw in Sang Su. If it was such a big deal for her — understandable. Move on. There was no need to play with both his feelings and Jong Hyeon’s feelings.

By “playing with his feelings,” I mean all the constant back-and-forth behavior: getting close, pulling away, returning again, and then abandoning him again. Why? It wasn’t healthy even for her.

Mi Gyeong was controlling and manipulative because she knew Sang Su had feelings for her “friend.” Another manipulative thing she did, at least in my opinion, was trying to become close friends with Soo Young. Although she knew Sang Su wasn’t in love with her, she still pursued him, and in the end she got hurt, even though she knew from the beginning that his heart wasn’t hers. A bit delulu? Yes. You love at your own responsibility!
For the other guy I have nothing to say because for me it was like a side character in the whole story!a guy there is just to fill soo Youngs gap!sorry for Jong byeon, but to me he was just the other guy existing!
This is the kind of drama where the characters’ issues keep repeating over and over again, and at some point nobody even considers therapy. Soo Young kept running away from situations until the very end, and the reunions after several years felt unrealistic.

Her relationship with Jong Hyeon never really stood a chance, just like Sang Su and Mi Gyeong’s relationship didn’t. But honestly, even the relationship between Sang Su and Soo Young never truly stood a chance either. It was toxic. There was lingering attraction and yearning between them, but that was all. I never felt there was actual love. Their personal problems and emotional complexes were stronger than their feelings for each other. 🥲

I also would have liked to see more character development because the situations kept repeating like a cycle without the characters truly improving. Even by the end, I never felt that Soo Young had really changed. It honestly felt like she could abandon him all over again. That’s why the ending didn’t feel satisfying or hopeful to me — it felt unresolved in an emotional sense, not just in a romantic sense.

Even the open ending was frustrating to me. In the past, I probably would have wanted them to end up together for the fairytale ending, but as an adult now, I understand that realistically they wouldn’t.

Do not waste your time!

This has to be one of the most catfishing shows I have ever seen. On the outside, it looks amazing. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful, the overall tone and mood of the show is so nice. You would think that this is going to be the best show that you have ever seen with such beautiful filming and such a strong cast? Nope.

This was so, so, SO boring. It was impossible for me to really make it past the first 3 episodes. The idea at first was promising but after that first episode, it just blows up in your face. It takes 5 episodes to get past one simple issue when it really could have easily been fixed with a single conversation. The main female lead is absolutely gorgeous and her character shows some good potential, but she just becomes absolutely insufferable after a while alongside her annoying male lead. She never speaks her mind so it causes all of the beginning episodes to be wrapped up in the same issue.

The main male lead is so annoying. He keeps playing different things. He begs one second, the other second, he is too good for the world. It is so pointless. This paired up with the annoying main female lead does not make for a good show at all, whatsoever. The little backstory between the male main lead and the security guard was alright but again, it was so drawn out that it was boring to follow after a while. Don't do it to yourself.

Slow and odd

I like a slow drama but the tone of this one is confusing. Our ML seems toxic at one point, sweet at another. At 38, he's a good 12 years older than our FL but his character seems to be in his late 20s. I don't sense any chemistry between them.
I have liked both actors in other dramas but i just don't have a clear sense of what the writer and director are trying for here and I can't imagine this thin story line taking up 16 episodes.
The SML isn't captivating me though i do like the SFL so far.
There isnt much buzz about this drama online and it is not surprising.

Very relatable… and yet so draggy!

Everything in this drama is relatable- especially if you’re in your twenties, a working adult trying to survive on your own in this world.

The basic plot of working, trying to climb the corporate ladder to earn more money, get a higher position, buying a house, getting married etc.. it’s all included in this storyline. BUT.. the pace of how it’s unfolding is SO SLOWWWW ;) Could have probably finished the story in just 10 episodes. I’ve been watching the whole thing at 1.5x speed ;):)

There’s the office politics, workplace discrimination, society standings discrimination, family background discrimination, education discrimination.. and the list goes on. It’s really sad if this is all true in Korean culture. One of the side characters broke up with his ex of 4 years, to marry someone of his “social standing” and immediately had an affair w his ex because he just couldn’t get over her. Why marry in the first place?

The chemistry and intensity in the leads relationship is very evident though, and I like it. Very very slow burn, but we get a really good kiss scene at the end of Ep 10 ;) At this point, I’m wondering why don’t they just get together already?? Whatever was stopping them before doesn’t seem that important now. Both leads decided to start relationships with other ppl, but it turns out those were not working out either! It’s interesting because this main relationship is not your typical fall-in-love story, but rather is them cheating on their respective partners (although for me I don’t find it cheating really. )

Let’s see how the story unfolds. I sincerely hope they have a happy ending :)

Update: just completed this. The last 4 episodes were terrible. It was a drag and painful to just complete it. What started off as 7.5 has now dropped to a 6. I wouldn’t recommend this drama. Too complicated and a waste of time

Full time sympathy with both the second leads

I really don't like the drama . Specially the female lead 's character . She herself got confused and make her boyfriend and first male lead's characters confused . Drama started with the employee of the bank where a man fallen in love with a lady . The man since starting when she had joined the bank loved her . But after meeting of three to four time with him she had feeling towards him but not sure . Then one day they decided to meet at dinner . Because he confused with his feeling so he reached the venue late and by the time she had left . From there the irritating part of the drma had started . He sad story to her and confessed his love but she had misunderstood him by saying that she is dating someone but actually she had started her life with the someone. Here he also started his life with someone but he realised he didn't forget her and broke up with the relationship. She still create confusion . She didn't know to whom she had fallen in love with . what she wanted with her life and still messed with other two life . Toying with both of them feeling . Ultimately she left her boyfriend and started spending time with male lead . Drama get over.
NOT FOR ME.

Watch how a cold hearted woman hurts everyone around her

I guess the script writer had an unfinished business, avoid this drama if you can, it disguises as a romance, but really is a series of unexplained actions of a cold hearted woman that destroys everyone around her, do yourself a favor and avoid.
The songs are nice. There is one song in the end which sounds like Ahn JiYoung, but it might not be her.
The only character that saves that show is the warm hearted rich girl, but she is destroyed too in this drama as well.
The rich mother and her friendship with the hero's mom is also nice, but this is just moot and does not contribute to the story really as much as it could

It began nice but endet not really good.

One thing can definitely be said from the start and that is that this drama isn't for everyone. The story is told very slowly and could have been completed after 8 episodes.
In any case, it's positive that this drama is very close to reality. So problems and decisions that you and I could have made too. Love can be very complicated sometimes. The actors did an excellent job.
However, the story stuttered and nothing exciting happened. The reasons for the roles were sometimes no longer understandable. The ending was a disaster for me.
You basically wait for nothing.

Boring

why give us a great ML and possible FL that is so boring, and at the end of 16 episodes you have to imagine a ending, look give us a ending that's why its called ending, die, have children, walk away, whatever but to waste all this time to go Nowhere. there are many ways to do this drama the way it is written is the worst hope this actor picks a better drama next time. loved him in the basketball sports drama watched Mood several times.
