For anyone watching this for Sol and Jiwan and is into GLs, Yes or No is a GL and has a few sequels too. It's an old story though but it is quite nice and fresh. A good, light GL story. Give it a try.

Shibasaki Himari (27) is a cheerful and straightforward woman who works at a PR company. Despite her bright outward appearance, she has a strong sex drive, and a history of breakups caused by sexual incompatibility has left her with lingering emotional scars.

One day, as more and more of her friends get married, Himari begins to feel anxious about her own future. As usual, she vents her frustrations over drinks to H?j? Kazumi, her best friend since college and now also her coworker. Unlike Himari, Kazumi has shown no interest in finding a long-term partner and seems completely unconcerned about it. However, when Himari says she wants to meet someone she is truly compatible with, Kazumi suddenly suggests, “Why don’t you try it with me?”

Surprised by this unexpected proposal from someone who had always seemed to keep a certain distance between them, Himari is conflicted. Yet despite knowing they are best friends, the two end up crossing that line. As a result, their relationship, once built on complete honesty and friendship, begins to change.

They could always be honest with each other as friends. They thought friendship was enough. But burdened by their respective pasts, neither had been able to take the next step. Now, as they move beyond the boundaries of friendship, they find themselves caught between friendship and love in this sweet yet risky romance.

You'll definitely enjoy "The world of the Married"! Han So Hee plays in it aswell and let me tell you... she's such a good actress that you'll truly dislike her character in this drama! Just Wow, the acting is a 11/10 and the story already starts to go crazy from the first episode! This is definitely a must watch. :)

Both dramas are set in College days.
Both dramas revolve around friends and classmates hanging out together ( They eat out together, go on trips, fall in love, breakup, etc)
Both have love triangles and unrequited love
Even the soundtracks are somewhat similar and give off the same vibe
The leads have been through hardships and have been raised in unfunctional families

In only one term these two dramas are alike, that of temptation. Love and physical attraction. It is interesting to see how far the fire of desire will take them.

Minase Ama, a rookie idol, spends her days enduring harassment from the members of “LUNA NEST,” led by Saotome Anna. Amid this, Ama is guided by the popular actor Hosho Chiaki, whom she happens to meet by chance, and ends up serving as a stand-in for a drama.

Chiaki takes an interest in the pure and innocent Ama, and at the urging of his mischievous friend Asakura Kairi, who proposes a bet on whether Chiaki can “win Ama over”, he approaches her playfully. However, when he witnesses Ama growing closer to her co-star and on-screen love interest, Hachimura Rintar?, feelings of jealousy begin to stir within Chiaki.

Meanwhile, Ama comes to Chiaki’s aid when he is being pressured for money by his biological mother, Natsumi, and he gradually finds himself drawn to her sincerity. On the other hand, Ama awakens to her path as an actress and auditions for a new project by the up-and-coming director Tanuma, steadily beginning her journey as a performer. Yet this only fuels Chiaki’s anxiety and jealousy, and his affection slowly transforms into possessiveness and obsession.

As the relationship between Chiaki and Ama deepens, a mysterious actor named Seira, who knows of Chiaki’s past, appears before them. With Seira’s arrival, both Chiaki and Ama grow increasingly restless.

8.1 XX (2020)
There are tonal similarities--the use of lighting, close-ups, and silence to create certain moods etc. The story of XX is more dramatic, and the plot focuses on the female leads' broken friendship and revenge on a shitty ex; romance is secondary.

In both shows the female lead is in a secret relationship with a player. The player gets jealous once the fl starts hanging out with another guy.
