That was amazing. Yuan Shanjian and Third Prince entered at the perfect time. I was right! I knew there was something sketchy with Zuo gang. Who was that official that had Yuan Shanjian in front of him? Official Ji? Lmao what Zisheng said was right. I was wondering why Zisheng had so much power in his hand, I mean beside being emperor's adopted son. I even once thought Zisheng wld be umm capable emperor. Humph! Zisheng once said that he wanted Niaoniao to confide in him and tell him all. But now... I mean I get it when you consider the situation. It just I don't get it! The best thing to do in that cliff situation was him taking the risk to jump off the cliff. That saved him and her from being killed on the spot by the villain. So... I don't get the abandon thing. Myb in other situation I wld understand but like I said. Hmm... OK myb all shaoshang wanted was for him to tell and confide in her before the Mqs Chenyang thing. Assure her that he will be with her. God I'm sad for the Empress. What she said T^T. Okay about her mother, myb if her mother was more forceful to go back when shaoshang was a child and bring with her to the battlefield. Or simply if her mother just shower with affection when she came home from the war. Myb it would be different. Myb niaoniao's heart wldn't be so closed off. The way I cried during the end of the episode. I did say her mom wld be sorry.

I've always said, "I only want to stay where I feel I belong." So many people leave or ask to leave. And so many people have regret because they didn't cherish their loved ones enough. This series had an amazing Part I, but Part II is even better. I didn't think it was possible.

I haven't cried like this for a drama in a long time. Damn this episode made me bawl my eyes out from the beginning till the end.First, CSS asking HBY to let her go. Then, the Empress asking the Emperor to let her go. HBY acknowledging the fact that CSS doesn't forgive those who betray her trust and abandon her. And the end, when CSS leaves her home and family behind to be with The Empress.I don't have the emotional strength to watch anymore, but I'm going to anyway.
