Brother and sister
Brother and sisterAsk me to like Lusi's acting better, i liked the love of brother and sister very much.
Nowadays you do not get to see brother's sister's love understanding between the two.
I liked the love that you told in it, I should get everything, but it is not available in real life.

Exceptional!
If you watch only ONE romantic series in your life, this should be it! The story, the actors, the chemistry of the couple, everything was just right. I have read some things, but I hope we will get to see the actors in another series again. This show has everything a romantic heart wants and desires. I was not fond of cdramas before I watched it.Was this review helpful to you?

Take a shot everytime FL says she's a grown up
First, this drama suffered with too many episodes. If you're going to make a drama with no side stories, second and third leads to create conflict so the main couple can grow stronger, etc. Then you have to cut the episodes. It becomes extremely boring to watch half of a drama of nothing but mindless fluff. This would have been better with 14-16 episodes like most K-dramas. 25 was too much. You Are My Glory also suffered from this. Too much fluff and not real story telling.Anyway, this drama is about a 14 year old crushing on her older brother's roommate. Nothing original really. We've all been there. The thing I didn't like about this whole drama was that it was FL personality trait at some point.
If you also hate the naive childish female to mature woman trope, you'll really hate it here because she never got to the mature part. Everyone said as soon as she got to university, she would mature, but it never happened. ZLS really put the baby uwu talking on thick in this drama. If you are around real life teenagers, you know they do not act like this.
Then there is the repeated phrase "I'm not a kid anymore." or "I'm an adult now." I don't know if she was trying to convince ML or herself. But for a supposed adult, she didn't understand simple stuff like him having a real grown up job and that having to come first instead of a date.
At one point, something breaks in the game. Not just any game. It's the most popular game in China in this drama. Anyway, something goes wrong and he has to stay at the office and work on it because you know, that's his job. Instead of understanding this like an adult, she pouts and gets all sad and questions if he likes her. Not only that, her roommates also jump on that train instead of saying "You know, he's a grown man with a job and actual responsibilities. Calm down and have a snack."
I also didn't like miss "I'm an adult" playing games after he confessed. Young women of the world, do not try this in real life. It backfires every single time. You don't need to test men of their love like a soap opera.
The most realistic thing in the drama was the parent's concern and brother's reaction to finding out they were together. Even that was solved quickly.
All in all, it's just another teen love story with a male lead written by a woman for women. Turn off your mind to watch this if you're older than 20.

MUST WATCH
My honest view on this drama is you must stop reading this right now and go watch it. When this drama was filming I saw many post about Zhao Lusi and Chen ZheYuan however I felt like it was not on my priority list to watch as it sounded like any other romance high school/ college drama. I watched it at first as a distraction from my other airing drama at the time as I waited for new episodes I planned to watch this one. It soon became the other way around because of how awesome this drama is. The casting, acting, soundtrack everything was done perfectly. I felt like Sang Zhi is the representation of many girls who experienced similar one sided love for many years and just kind of expected it to fail because of the age gap etc.. Honestly I felt like I at least was represented in this story. Of course it’s a drama so the ending MUST be a happy one and for that I am grateful. I found myself smiling, laughing, and sometimes even crying in this drama. I honestly feel like it’s extremely rare for a drama to enthrall me so much that I must review. IF YOU’RE STILL READING DIDN’T I SAY SINCE THE BEGINNING TO STOP AND GO WATCH HIDDEN LOVE RIGHT NOW! Go enjoy yourself some Dian Jiaxu action alongside with Sang Yan and Sang Zhi. I feel like I must reiterate how much I loved this cast. Was this review helpful to you?
This is what a producer should do to create a perfect contemporary romance drama.
I think the casting was excellent, from the main lead to the supporting casts. They did perfectly well.
I've heard there are a lot of problems before they start shooting because the original directors withdraw from these projects, so the other investors and some other actors follow along. Later, a new director takes over, and a few of ZLS's friends join to continue the project. The good news is that this director did a fantastic job directing this drama.
All the ost are in my playlist and my favourite are Star Thief, Forever star and Be your light. These 3 are so good that I keep playing everyday.
Overall. I give 10/10.

Hidden Love
I just finished this in all episodes. I'm honestly really sad that it ended so quickly. Since 2022, information about this drama appeared, I'm still waiting patiently. But today, my feelings are hurt. There is no drama recommendation, I am still waiting for Duan Jiaxu and Sang Zhi to meet again, even if the reality is small or very unlikely😭💔. I want to say that I really like this drama, the plot, the cast, everything is not boring. I suddenly feel crazy from laughing, crying all at once accidentally 😔. Zhao lus studies well. I've forgotten what year I started admiring her acting. In essence, for everything. I'm happy, I like whatever Lusi does for her acting, I will continue to support and pray that she will always be happy and smooth in work, love and even many things. Thank you for releasing this drama. I've repeated it 3 times in the previously released episode. Maybe I'll repeat it again until bored🤣 . Thank you so much, good luck and love to all the cast, to Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan ♥️♥️Was this review helpful to you?

I'm crying with joy
OK so This Drama is not one of the best I watchedIt's literally THE BEST ONE I watched. Idk If there will be a drama that's gonna overcome this one.
I dont know If there is any TV series that made me smile so much ( that I got smiling lines and I'm unhappy about that 😩 )
Zhao Lusi played her role to well. I was a big fan of her from 2020 but this Drama actually proved everything I thought of her. Her crying is so realistic that sometimes I cried with her . I never knew that someone actually can be that good at acting. Chen Zheyuan ate his role. I have never heard of him before but now I'm a huge fan of him.
Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan are couple that we never knew we needed. I love how their relationship has evolved over time.
The story line is PERFECT there's no lacks.
Every cast proved what skills they have.
I hope there will be season 2 🙏 when they get married and maybe they will have kids.
I highly recommend 'Hidden Love' 🩷
( I Have a big crush on Sang Zhi's Brother ) 🫣

One person, forever.
Sometimes home is a person, and happiness the sound of the heartbeat that resides there. It's been some time since I've written a proper review but this drama sincerely deserves it.
If you're worried about the age gap aspect here, set those worries aside, it's been done extremely well and tastefully. This is a drama about two people who meet at all the right times, and who are what the other needs throughout all of the hardships and hidden wounds. Every green flag you can think of is in here. There is no misunderstandings, the couple works together to make their relationship mesh well despite their different places in life, and they will have you smiling and crying the entire time.
Hidden Love is heartwarming in all the best ways. Not only is there romance, but familial love as well. Every single relationship, from SZ's friends to DJX's buddies, is something wholesome and it is portrayed so naturally it's hard to not believe they are real friends who have known each other for years. I adored every single character as they grew together and leaned on each other.
The music is perfect, and by the end will have you sobbing and smiling at the same time, and the pacing in Hidden Love is absolute perfection. There wasn't a moment where I wanted to skip ahead or felt like there could have been more. This is a feel good drama and it is extremely well done.
If you need softness and a beautiful love story, give this a try!

How To Be There For Someone And Let Them Be There For You!
There is one thing more powerful, captivating, and endearing than one person being there for someone else. It’s when two people are able to be there for each other. This is the hallmark—the foundation—of any true relationship. Relationships are not about what you get out of them, but what you put into them. And any true companion will never ask you to be anything other than who you are. In fact, they won’t encourage you to be anything else.I doubt there is a person alive who cannot remember their first love. The series does a masterful job of demonstrating the awkwardness as well as the intrigue of first love. It’s new. It’s scary. And it’s also so encompassing that a person can scarcely believe that it’s happening. At the start of the series, Sang Zhi is a young middle school student who quickly finds herself enamored by her brother’s friend, Duan Jia Xu. Despite the fact that he’s five years her senior, it doesn’t matter. As we well know, love defies logic and rationale. Most would quickly define Sang Zhi’s feelings as a crush and nothing more. However, over time, a single seed can grow and blossom, and it soon becomes obvious that this is not a crush.
Sang Zhi isn’t merely captivated by Duan Jia Xu’s looks. She marvels at how well and respectfully he treats her, always being thoughtful, attentive, and willing to help, no matter the situation. Initially Duan Jia Xu sees Sang Zhi as a sister and nothing more. After all, with such an age gap, it’s hard to imagine him seeing her in any other way. But, as people grow older, that gap narrows. It just takes some time; time enough for him to begin seeing her in a new light. Or as Sang Zhi wisely states, “I had to catch up to him.”
Duan Jia Xu is a gentle, hardworking young man who suddenly finds a massive responsibility thrust upon his young shoulders. His father, in a drunken state, is involved in a hit-and-run fatality. Rather than face the consequences of his actions, his father hurls himself off the balcony of their home. However, he doesn’t die, but is in a vegetative state. Bills pile up. Duan Jia Xu’s mother’s body is wracked with cancer. And works multiple jobs to try and pay off the debt that he owes to the family who was affected by the tragedy. In short, he’s forced to grow up very quickly. Despite having Sang Yan’s friendship (Sang Zhi’s hilarious older brother!), Duan Jia Xu feels very much alone. One can’t help but figure that, even at a young age, Sang Zhi gave him a reason to not feel this way. And by the final episode, we are proven right. She is the bright star in his life and always has been.
Sang Zhi is a young, spoiled, and often immature young girl. Her defense mechanism of “playing mind games” with Duan Jia Xu leads her into needless and silly predicaments, such as making up the idea that she has an online boyfriend, hoping to make him jealous. Of course, it backfires, and she often reacts terribly, leading her to jump to conclusions. However, make no mistake. Sang Zhi is a very strong woman who proves to Duan Jia Xu that she is more than capable and fit to be by his side during the most trying of times. In short, she’s exactly the kind of partner any sane man would want. Someone who’s there for you during the lightest and darkest of times. She never hesitates or wavers in her convictions. She is steadfast and acts very much like an anchor. Even when her parents initially disapprove of their dating, it doesn’t sway her. Nothing does.
For the most part, the relationship between Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu is done very well, even when she is given very poor advice from her roommates—most of whom have no clue how to be in a relationship. Sang Zhi often contradicts herself; wanting to be pursued and then reacts immaturely when Duan Jia Xu doesn’t do something or pursues her in a way that she doesn’t understand. She is fortunate enough that Duan Jia Xu’s own love for her is as strong as hers is for him, and he won’t be turned away so easily either. However, there are a few awkward and even puzzling moments after they start their relationship, how often Sang Zhi recoils as attempts of kisses or hugs or even holding hands. This was done a bit too frequently, in my opinion. It reminded me of Sang Zhi’s funny attempt at the high jump in high school when she kept awkwardly stepping forward, then back, and then ran toward the bar only to crash into it. Once she finally gets over her girlish reactions and aversions, things finally begin to settle into a space of normalcy.
This is my first foray into Chinese dramas, and I wasn’t disappointed. Through the first 21 episodes or so, I had this series at an “8” or so. The last few vaulted it to a “10.” Lu Si Zhao got to me when she reacted to her brother after he’d hit Duan Jia Xu. Her tearful reaction of feeling betrayed by someone who was supposed to be on her side, hits full force. The series only got better from there. The airport scene when she follows him back and finally reveals her “secrets” to Duan Jia Xu and letting him know that she will never leave him is incredibly powerful as was their scene together at his mother’s grave. However, the “proposal scene” was done so effectively, that I’ll wager that not many saw that coming. I’m not a fan of having a crowd for a marriage proposal, but seeing all of their loved ones standing around the heart of flowers, and Duan Jia Xu’s heartfelt proposal culminated everything that the series was about.
The chemistry between Lu Si Zhao and Chen Zhe Yuan is undeniable and unmistakable as they make sure that the viewer takes in every single raw feeling and emotion that occurs between them. "Our Beloved Summer" is my all-time favorite romance between young couples. This one is right up there with that one.
So many romantic dramas and movies often leave the viewer actually wondering if a “happy ending” is feasible or if reality will simply prove to be too much and the “happy couple” will eventually dissolve into an ambivalent one. Not this couple! I have no doubt that Duan Jia Xu and Sang Zhi will have a happy and largely fulfilling life together. Why? Because they’ve both realized at a tender young age, the most important thing to do for someone you love is to be there for them and to also let them be who they are. If you’ve lost faith in romance, this series just might help you find it again.

From His Twenty Two Years Old To End Of My Twenty Two Years
This review is after my second rewatch.Recently I have been experiencing drama slump ( the feeling of seen it all and nothing new ) and suddenly drama shorts started popping up on my feed and I swear the moment I heard " when I passed by ......" , it came all rushing back and with it an uncontrollable urge to rewatch it, so I did and it felt much more better than the first watch, the anticipation and feeling of giddiness for every next scene despite knowing what's going to happen was so exhilarating. Ah! the moment he realised the guy she liked is him ( credit goes to fatty) felt like finally our prayers got answered and then unfolds a love story that is too beautiful, cute, deep and warm that you can't help but immerse yourself in it and then suddenly you realize it's going to end in just 25 episodes and for first time I wished that a cdrama would have more episodes.
So going on with rewiew, drama has a story that feels fresh every time you rewatch ( this is probably highest rating anyone can give to any drama), an unforgettable OST and capability to bring you out of drama slump.

One of the Bestest Cdrama ?
The bestest drama i saw in 2023 and also the best in Chinese dramas! Omg the story has u melting till your toes from the first episode till the 25th episode! Usually, i skip episodes in Chinese dramas because of the length n duration. After Meteor Garden, this is the next best! The cast has its own charm...leads have crackling bonding and chemistry! Kudos to the makers for making it so beautifully! Hidden Love will take u down nostalgia lanes of your own campus lives!
Please do watch it...i binge watched it and then re-watched it again!
