In love with every single episode
I haven't watch a extremely sweet C-drama since "A love so beautiful".I was totally in love with every single episode. The chemistry between mail leads were so heartwarming. And even the chemistry with the little girl.
The script was beautifully made and I am grateful for that. The way the main leads develop and that was totally thanks to the actors. The female lead, she is so sweet, I met her with the drama "I hear your" and him, I met him on "handsome siblings"
Definitely, this is one of my favs for sure.

Best Drama Of The Year ✨🤍A healing story, as well as comedy, friendship, laughter and tears, this drama is very beautiful. I watched this 5 times but the attraction is not reduced. I like the story very much. Moreover, This was the first Chinese drama I watched, the acting skills of the hero and heroine are so amazing that it is impossible not to appreciate.I have become a big fan of them. You will not be bored after watching this drama. Highly recommend to watch it. Its entire story has a different twist in each episode that you don't want to skip.Was this review helpful to you?

Não vou negar que no começo eu fiquei agoniada com o arrastar da história, mas depois, analisando, era necessário vermos o desenvolver da relação dos dois.Só acho que no começo colocaram uma atriz que parecia muito mais uma criança do que uma adolescente. Poderiam ter feito diferente neste sentido, mas no mais que história perfeita.
EU SIMPLESMENTE FIQUEI APAIXONADA E ENCANTADA. Acho que é o primeiro chinês que dou nota 10, e tenha certeza que é o meu favorito, até o momento, kkk.
O enredo é cativante e apaixonante, você fica deslumbrada por todos os personagens!
Pois bem, a nossa prota se apaixona pelo amigo do seu irmão, mas no começo o mesmo somente a enxerga como uma irmã. E também se ele começasse a nutrir algo mais por ela, digamos que seria bem bizarro, no meu ponto de vista. E por conta de um desentendimento, os dois ficam sem se falar por bastante tempo, até que num acaso do destino se reencontram. E nisso ficam se vendo, e e aí que ele vendo que ela amadureceu, começa a enxergá-la com outros olhos.
E é tão lindo de se ver o desenrolar desse romance. E mesmo ele enxergando que ela nutri sim um amor por ele, e mesmo ela percebendo que de fato o conquistou, eles não aceleram, ela permite ser cortejada e ele acha necessário cortejar a mulher que ama.
“eu vou continuar me esforçando. vou ser seu único namorado na vida. então se outras mulheres merecem ser conquistadas, a minha Zhi merece o mesmo”
E FOI NESSE MOMENTO QUE EU ME DERRETI TODA! Além, também, de todo o cuidado que ele tinha com ela, o que só tornava tudo ainda mais apaixonante.
A relação entre a Prota e o irmão também é fantástica! Assitiria muito um enredo que focasse nele, escutei rumores que vai ter um dorama, mas não me empolguei quando souber que o ator não seria o mesmo.
O modo como eles se protegem, o modo como eles se completam é o que faz a história ser perfeita. E é claro que a química dos atores ajudou muito!

Every now and then,, you just need a great chick flick!
This review has germinated for several months. Why? For me, the real test of a film that just makes your heart happy is tied to sustaining that viewing after viewing. "Hidden Love" as a script far exceeded the original story by adding character depth, a first love romance that most women remember, with ML/FL actors that fill the screen with emotion and...let's be honest, amazing visuals....but it was more than that. The entire cast ensemble created a story synergy filling in all the spaces in a series of interwoven plotlines with a director's sequence expertise that is missing in most dramas.The relationships of siblings, parents, friends, and those college roommates we all had that have remained in our lives since our first dormitory room long ago. Scriptwriters who bring humor, sadness, conflict, and growing pains into each episode are rare in modern dramas but fortunately for the producers of Hidden Love, they took you on a concurrent journey through the storyline and our memories of similar moments in our coming of age from high school through our college years.
I could spend time exploring the chemistry among Zhoa Lusi, Victor Ma, and Chen Zheyuan, but each episode pretty much speaks for itself as we travel through the years watching the dynamics of these three grow individually as people and together in romance, friendship, and as siblings. An older brother protecting you growing up creates a very special bond that transcends time. The heartbreak of thinking our first love "couldn't wait for us to grow up" before finding someone was a sequence of emotional events that was handled so realistically you could feel her despair right along with her. The only aspect of this drama I would have to say I found disappointing was when it ended without a clear possibility for a follow-up season.
The story of this drama would be incomplete without congratulating the marking team who created a BTS series of videos that kept viewers engaged between episodes and added depth to the drama in getting to know the detailed work that went into the final product. Watching actors having fun while focused on their craft and supporting one another is rare. Those captured moments made each actor shine as people versus only seeing them in the roles they are portraying. I have watched this drama several times and purchased it for special friends who I know will be drawn into many of the college antics pulling from the collective memory of my college roommates and classmates. This drama is cute and wholesome.
Most of the dramas I watched have a tendency to have some toxic/red flag behaviors from some of its characters and I find that annoying. So watching Hidden Love where there are no red flags/ toxic characters is just a breath of fresh air for me.This drama really moved me, made me laugh and cry and gave me a lot of fun while I was watching. The acting was on point. The actors are great. What I like about this drama is that it doesn't have so much conflict that's why you will just enjoy watching it, giggling overtime, laughing, and feeling all the cuteness in every scene. In short for me this drama is an escape from my reality. It reminds me of what young first love feels like. The male lead was not only goodlooking but he also played his character well. Whenever he looked at the FL, it gave me butterflies. And the Female lead played her character so well, too. It was such a refreshing series.Would I recommend it? Definitely. From all the ones I'm watching it was the only one that made me laugh and love little moments that I would rewind just to get a little bit more. I'm very glad I watched this drama and you should give it a chance too.

duan jiaxu is a gentleman
sang zhi is adorable ( luisi did a great job portraying her character)
sang yan is a silly dog hehe ( I love him so much)
this drama is the ultimate comfort and my most fav
the drama of the year award goes to hidden love
I'm glad I came across the manhua in 2022 and gave it a try..waited it for months to get chapter updates
and waited another months for this drama to be released
the summer vibes are immaculate
the way duan jai xu has raised my standards,it's pretty hard finding someone like that
I watched this while airing and everyday used to wait for 6pm for them to update the episode and used to get all excited , this is my precious drama memory

Falling in love with your Brother's bro
The chemistry between the characters is absolutely adorable, and the acting is top-notch—it's hard not to get invested. The storyline, centered around falling in love with your brother's friend, is both charming and cute.I especially appreciate the sibling dynamics; they feel authentic and refreshing without being overly dramatic. It’s lovely to see the growth of the main relationship unfold naturally, adding depth to their connection. The tension between the ML and the FL's brother is particularly well done—their interactions are intense and well-acted, keeping me on the edge of my seat!
And can we talk about the OST? It’s phenomenal! I find myself replaying the songs over and over again; they perfectly capture the emotions of the series and enhance the overall experience.

She fell first ,he fell harder ...I'm usually not a fan of having a crush on brother's best friend ,but jiaxu was such a green flag throughout. He was so kind and considerate of her at every point and they were both so good to each other. The chemistry is fire... And the story and all the relationship progress was so tastefully done . All the supporting characters were great , sang zhi's parents and here relationship with her brother were so wholesome and sometimes all you want is to watch something very sweet that makes you believe in love again ❤️.
Absolutely worth watching!!!
I might re-watch the episodes from after they got together :)

Best Chinese Drama!!!
This is my first time completing a Chinese drama and I’m so glad I decided to watch this. Zhao Lusi and Chen Zhe Yuan’s popularity can be explained through this drama because they performed their roles excellently. Seriously they have the best chemistry out of all romantic dramas I’ve watched. They portrayed a couple in love and expressed romance so naturally. I especially love every moment between ML and FL when they start dating because we get to see how much they deeply love and care for each other, absolutely precious bond they have. It was a beautiful series that teach many valuables lessons about familial, romantic, and platonic love. I cried tears of joy and sorrow and sympathized with the characters from beginning to end. The rewatch factor value is a 10/10! I feel like I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed watching this series. No exception I would definitely recommend Hidden Love to anyone who likes romance.Was this review helpful to you?
Best light romance drama of the year with PERFECT CAST
I don't usually write a review, but this drama is worth to mention!!!Hidden Love has super great cast with great chemistry, making me blush myself everytime they have romantic moments. And I soooo freaking love their romance scenes - it gives me butterflies. The story itself is pretty light, making it enjoyable to watch every single episode. Chen Zheyuan plays the cool big brother role soooo perfectly (isn't it a crime to be that adorable tho?!! I'm falling head over heels myself, help!!!). Give him a thropy for stealing my heart. They're such a cute couple, seriously. I keeps smiling from ear to ear watching them.
I wish the drama would be longer, I enjoy the journey of Sangzhi - from being a little brat to a mature young lady (as expected from Zhao Lusi acting). It has perfect pace, not dragging too long but not too fast as well. Definitely going to rewatch it again in the near future.
SUPER recommended if you're a fan of light romantic drama. It's overloaded with sweetness to the point that it's diabetic.

A story of pure and unconditional love
Hidden Love is the first Chinese drama I ever watched and I am honestly surprised by how much I love this show. It's just so sweet and heartwarming that no matter how many I watch it I will not get enough and keep coming back for more. That's the extent to which I love and the funny thing is that I never expected to like it so much. So yeah, the sweetness and the tenderness with which this story has been portrayed was outstanding and that's why I give this show a 10/10.I have watched this show a number of times now but hadn't left a review of it on this site until now. I'm here now because I just realized that some haters have been posting negative reviews which have decreased the shows rating from 9.2 to 9.0. Their jealousy is truly astounding. Maybe they should try to make their favourite shows a success rather than try to diminish the success of Hidden Love. You haters can try all you want. It won't change the fact that Hidden Love is a very well loved show because it is relatable.

Sweet love
It's been a few days since I finished this drama, but I took some time to reflect on it. The feeling of longing is still strong. This drama is so good that even after days, it still makes me sad to think that I've already finished watching it. During these twenty-five episodes, I felt very close to the characters, I laughed with them and cried with them. The casting was perfect, they really showed what good acting and chemistry are.
