Physical & Mental Test That Felt Scripted

LIKES:
For the most part production was good.
It was interesting to see the various occupations/sports that these fit people were part of.
The different body types did have a good range of people.
The competitions got better towards the end, especially for the last 5 standing.
The music was fitting for competitions and for the most part good.
I liked how even though only one person could win, that everyone encouraged each other to persevere.

DISLIKES:
Felt very scripted until the last two competitions.
The claim about gender and race equality, felt false due to: 1- the games themselves favouring certain body types and 2- because the other races that took part in it, felt thrown in to the mix and didn't have equal amounts of people as the obvious asian dominated participants.
I didn't like some of the competitions where it was done in teams that were chosen by participants. It would've been more interesting and fair, had they teams been picked randomly.

OVERALL:
If they bring a second season I would watch it, but can't be bothered to watch this one again. I did binge watch it. It was interesting and you could really feel the competition and emotion the players felt. If you ever want to know how a body builder would be able to compete against an athlete or military people, this is the show for you!

Good survival show! Though needs some improvements

Probably the best survival show I’ve seen Korea make yet! Winning was based on results, not by biased judges, predetermined results or judges wanting to see something “new” or “fresh” (looking at you dbo). There it was friendly competition, competitiveness but also encouragement.
However there is a production bias of what the perfect/strongest body looks like and can achieve. Balance, speed, etc. (can’t recall all 5/6) were not represented nor did every contestant get tested in each category. Would watch a s2, but hopefully they’d make improvements.
“Finding the perfect body regardless of gender, age, race” my a**! They had 2 foreigners, 1 white and 1 black. Most of the people when looked up were in their 20s/30s. The oldest person, that we know of, was 48 Korean age. 23/100 (I think) were females and a lot of quests, especially those with instant elimination, catered toward bigger, bulkier build (AKA the guys). Body weight and teamwork that tests all aspects of the “perfect body” would be ideal.
A couple ideas of change: 1) It should be a ranking system, not elimination, if you want to find the most ideal body type because (sub)test could’ve had a different outcome if, for example, they did tile flipping and/or shuttle run before tug-of-war. If the producers want to keep a competitive edge then top #s get and advantage and/or bottom #s get a disadvantage. This way everyone has a chance to participate in an event and show their versatility, or lack of; 2) do the punishments rounds as round 1, letting people choose what they think they’d be best at, and therefore the best of each category moves on to the other quests; or 3) everything stays the same except no one is officially off the show right away- everyone gets 1-2 challenge cards that they can use at any point, before it’s down to top 3, where if they do better than someone in that event they swap places with the other competitor. Statues are smashed if you’ve used up all challenges or fail to get back into the competition before final 3; 4) either lower the prize money, be one gender, or if it’s going to be coed, any lifting (rock or statue) should be at least a % of average “strong” body weight for equity reasons - greed played a role in some people’s decisions, though it did give survival of the fittest at times, others it just didn’t make sense.

Interesting competition variety show, somehow felt like Squid Game minus the killing

It was interesting to watch 100 competing each other in terms of strengths. Although some parts felt repetitive, I really enjoyed the team games the most. The set is well-planned and it was very challenging even for me who's just an audience. I felt touched by some moments as well when I saw them persevere and go all in with their powers and energy even though it almost felt like against the odds.

It was very inspiring and heartwarming to watch because they all have sportmanship which made it really meaningful to watch. I personally rooted for Choo SungHoon because I knew him from Return of Superman. He was indeed a Superman and despite his build, he's very softhearted, a good leader and a very strong man.

Overall vibes, I enjoyed watching it. The cliffhanger were the best because it made me binge-watch it overnight. I just felt like the hype already ended before the ending so it kind of felt meh. But still I recommend this show if you like watching survival shows. I learned a lot from them in terms of being mentally strong and not just being physically strong.

Disappointed on the quality of challanges

Top 100 contestants in Korea like pro mma fighters, olympic medalist, fitness influencers, bodybuilders, pro rugby players, real cop, real army and etc compete in simple games like run away with a ball and carry sandbags to a station for weight ins. Many flaws in the game, how can you put man vs women in a mud fight?? Are these only kind of games that the producers can think of? Low class. Are they're not embarrased to invite such a high level profile of contestant to compete such a simple games like this.?? Survivor or ninja warrior are way better, with just normal people competing. No need to invite high profile people in search for the top "physical" form crap. Very disappointed.

Di 100 solo 1

Veramente bello.

Selalu bilang "gapapah, kamu udah berusaha" "kamu udah kerja keras hey!" Aren't we all to hear these words, huuh?
