If the audience is used to short dramas, it will find that, although A Love Journal is a SUPER fast miniseries, it is really entertaining. It is even surprising that, in such a short time, the drama resolves the business aspects in a satisfactorily way and the lead couple has very good romantic chemistry. The leading lady works for a rival company and keeps that fact from her husband which gives way to the appearance of an antagonist from her company. The leads have met before in their high school days and seemed to have developed a nice friendship on that time. Even though the second leading couple doesn’t have the best romantic development, it is cute to see them together as the drama nears its ending. The drama starts as a marriage of convenience but, during the cohabitation, they gradually fell in love with each other. It also has a very nice ending, enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?

Well as usual as other short drama this included in one messed up plot...The story happen just so damn fast, with the no clear of the problem & one confusing plot that like jumping from scene to scene.
Story happen at first when Wang Zi Fei come across with her boyfriend with another woman that turn out her big client, and suddenly there was Dong Zi Fan just out of nowhere over marriage to her. The summary told us about business enemy... Well this is not really the case. Yeah they're company is rival to each other, with Zi Fan as the owner at the rival company and Zi Fei only as employe at her company. Later on, Zi Fei's boss want to do dirty business & ask Zi Fei to steal Zi Fan company secret. This where the plot get messier & makes no sense. Maybe if they make the plot more tidy it's gonna be better & much more make sense.
Overall this only one short drama that running over in ur time

Good Luck!
A cute short drama to maybe watch when seriously bored.Plot- High school classmates Ning Sui and Gu Shen meet later as adults after a time apart. With Gu Shen being the stereotype ML, successful professionally and financially but awkward, traumatized and closed off socially. Ning Sui being the stereotype FL, cute, feisty, working her way up the ladder, tries not acknowledging her feelings for ML which she eventually does just like a lightbulb switch in her head.
Contractual marriage theme is one of my favorite storylines in the drama world. There will be always hits and misses. A Love Journal was more than a miss. It was completely the wrong coordinates; trajectory was the opposite direction, maybe even the wrong planet.
I just can't fathom what it would take for all that staff, cast and crew to air this calamity. It's quite obvious that the main couple and even their supports are all very green, not much experience. I honestly feel like they all watched other tv dramas with a similar script and then tried to imitate that instead. It doesn't matter how many steamy kiss scenes you add to it.
What I despise the most is a drama that has a tremendous lack of logic on top of too many loopholes in their storyline. It gives me a headache. I know it's not supposed to be an award-winning drama but if you want people to actually watch it then you actually have to provide tv that people would actually want to watch.
Being a mini drama should not be an excuse or a reason as to why a drama is bad. Rewatch Value - 0.0/10.

Wonderful contractual marriage mini-show with lots of sweetness.
This is a wonderful mini-show. Maybe the storyline isn’t all that new but there are some things I really appreciate. It’s very lighthearted and there isn’t any angst in this - which is exactly what I needed. It does feel a bit rushed but there aren't any major jumps in the story.Character wise we have a FL that is about to marry a guy but sees him cheating on her. ML steps in without a warning and offers to marry her instead. Since both need to marry someone this is a win-win situation. I like that FL isn’t a designer/artist. We have seen way too many of these. The angle of her being in a rival company was a bit refreshing. ML being a CEO and afraid of something is a classic but there has to be something that binds the couple together.
Acting wise this is rather good. No cringe acting or over-acting even if it’s clearly a low-budget production.
So, if you are in the mood for something lighthearted and sweet, this is a definite “Must Watch”.
