Bad yet oddly entertaining

The Female lead- Has really sweet mimics and a nice smile, but damn the girl yells som much that I had to turn down the volume/hit the mut button at times.

The male leads only talant is his smile and ocasional shower scene, the other male lead had moments of okay acting but also moments of bad everytthing going down a slipppery slope... of wtf

The women are EVIL as EVIL gets or Kind ad KIND gets...

The story makes no sense what so ever and lacks proportions kind of going more or less between OH you lied to me once DIE! I WILL NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN... Oh you tried to kill me, make me loose all that is dear to me, tried to kill my sister, his cousin, kicked a puppy, schemed with my nemesis.. Shake it off, those things happen all is forgiven let's go eat cake... And the amount of cheese towards the end should be enough to create the worlds larges mac n cheese pizza.

The acting - Bad
The chemistry- OK

Yet somehow it worked, I was hooked and binged most of it in one go... Making the first 9 or 10 episodes fall under the catagory so bad it is good but the last few just bad...

A Loose Adaptation That's Kind of Okay

This drama is a loose adaptation of Rich Man, Poor Woman. They made a lot of changes so if you're watching it as a remake, you might not be as impressed. However, they made 2 or 3 major changes to the story that I actually kind of liked. They also made it a bit more romance focused. It was a decent adaptation for Thai audiences. That being said, one of the changes they made is that they simplified the business drama to something Thai audiences are more familiar with: a family business succession drama. Therefore, the business part of this drama is highly boring. All the startup stuff that appealed to me in the original was lost here. Neither leads appear as intelligent as they were in the original either. If you're watching this without seeing any other adaptations, this will seem like your average Thai business romance drama, expect there's an unusual face prosopagnosia twist and less catfights.

It was nice to watch and entertaining.

Overall I loved the series, I do think Chanon and his mom were forgiven too easily, but I knew that would happen.
The roles of JJ and Pepper were so ignored, they did something bad and it wasn't even really talked much, it was more centered on Tanya.
The acting was really good, it didn't disappointed me at all, I'm happy I gave the series a chance, I wasn't convinced at first because I always ended up dropping the other versions, but this one managed to get my attention
And also think that they extended the series too much, it could've been 10-12 episodes long without a problem

The Potential of this Show was astronomical but failed

First of all Luke and Dew acted so well off of one another. I know Luke was a replacement in this series and thank God. This man can act and is not hard to look at. Loved seeing Dew in a lead role. He is the only reason I tolerated the worse version of F4 (just my opinion)

The villains were so cookie cutter in Sroy and Tanya with no repercussions for any of them. They were allowed to to destroy lives with no repercussions at all. The way Sroy treated Vee's mother and not only allowed to take the company over but was forgiven by Vee and his mother with a mere apology.

Same with child like Chanon feeling jealous and acting like his bitchy mother. All Sroy got was falling with some water only to have the mistreated sister in law racing to her aid.

Yes, it was a good series technically but it was tied up too neatly. Better in my opinion to make bad people get their punishment instead of cross the board forgiveness for the wronged party.

We can't always get what we want but Sroy did. All her bad behavior and her sons were dismissed with a apologies. In a time of massive data breaches across the world this series shows one engineered with no punishment what so ever. While I enjoyed the acting and moat of the story in the end a 10 series became less than an 8. And that's generous.
But Dew and Luke made it a pretty series no...GORGEOUS. Have Mercy.

Loved brewed in the office

The drama centers around a young CEO, Veekij Kraiphiwat who has prosopagnosia and cannot differentiate between faces. He relies on name tags to distinguish between his employees at work. He then decides to hire a secretary to help him connect with the world and that's Mirin Neeraumphan Phaisanphi.
The plot isn't extraordinary but the drama started out well. Although it was short, the story captured the circumstance that led to Veekij's face blindness; separation from his mother.
One amusing and exciting scene was Veekij's first encounter with Mirin. Their bickering was funny but cute. An interviewee exchanging words with her potential boss? We don't get to see that everyday.
One likeable thing about this drama is how events unfold. Everything is straight to the point and the story is not dragged on. The drama also made use of non-linear narrative; events in the drama go back and forth between past and present, making it easy for audience to discover crucial information when necessary.
My only pet peeve is that the plot was too formulaic and predicable. There was no new twist or dynamic to this office romance drama. Everything was expected, nothing surprised or caught me off guard. Veekij's interest in Mirin, Chanon's alliance with Tanya etc was way too obvious. Everything unfolded like dramas we've seen before. It felt as though the story wasn't given enough detail and that was disappointing. For a 14 episode drama, it would have been so much better if certain things were added to beef up the drama.
Nonetheless, it was entertaining and interesting to some extent and if you're a fan of office romance dramas, I recommend you watch it.

It had a lot of potential, but it sizzled out by the end

The basic premise of the plot was very cliché – rich man falling in love with a poor woman who is working for him. Seen about a million times, but it can still be great. I liked the added complication of Vee’s missing mother and Mirin’s involvement with it. It added an extra layer of possible complications. I was, however, not a fan of how it all played out. They were really building up with all the problems, the way all relationships were becoming more and more complicated, the issues were pilling up… and then it just kind of fizzled out. It was very anticlimactic.

Veekit & Mirin: They were trying to make Vee cold, unreachable, and grumpy. He was just childish and kept throwing tantrums left and right. I am glad they dropped that act fairly quickly, even if his sudden change of character was a bit unexpected. Mirin was sweet, even if a bit too honest at times. I liked that. She matched Vee fairly well and didn’t let him trample all over him. I found the two cute, but I didn’t really feel the sparks. Which is a shame. Dew’s acting did feel a bit bland at times, I just don’t think he handled the emotional scenes well. I liked Kao’s acting better, it was more believable.

As for side characters, I think Chanon had a lot of potential. There could be a lot more done with him, his ambitions, and his mother’s plans. But they took the easy way out in the end. And he became another thing, another complication that just kind of sizzled out. Ewes was sweet and loyal, even if there were times where that loyalty might have brought her to the wrong side of things. Thanya was just plain annoying. She didn’t really have any personality beyond being rich and wanting Vee.

As I said, it had a lot of potential. But it was wasted as they decided to take the easy way out when it came to solving all the issues that arose through the drama.

Easy watch. Cute and lovely main leads

Beginning felt a little off at some places, but having been ready to take it in for my favourite actors I continued and I am glad I did because it got better. It is an easy watch. What I like most about the drama is that there was no too much of melodramas and playing with the viewers emotions. The story progresses with that cuteness and loveliness. Only what doesn't makes sense is Chanon's love or attraction towards Mirin. That doesn't make sense to me based on the portrayal of his character. The male lead Veekit is a big GREEN Flag despite of the initial episode ridicule. So I love this drama overall. Dew's acting is natural and very lovely. There is no toxicity in the romance here only true love <3.

Touched everthing on surface level without any depth in the story

Story is not much complicated. Just when you think it is going to get complicated from here, they add some illogical reasoning to it and end the problem. There were few plot changing scenes which gave a fresh vibe to every episode by the characters were not portrayed in details, their story and emotions were just touched on surface level.

Few emotional scenes which can make audience cry along with the lead were not that well acted out by Dew but the rest of the actors did amazing job. The FL made up for Dew's acting which bought life to few scenes. Good to watch Luke try out slightly different role.

Coming to Vee's character , they did not show us how talented he is for him to be the CEO, we often saw him slackoff and Chanon did all the hard work, they didnot emphasize on Vee's caliber and just wanted us to pity him for being brought up without a mother and having a disability. Was he made CEO of a huge company only because of that ? The love story was also half touched , Chanon's flip was also questionable, so connecting to the characters made it very difficult for me.
what can we look forward to in this series ?
Cute chemistry between leads.

They say Faceless love is a remake of K-drama RichMan, i remember watching it but dont recall much of it but i personally dont think this is 100% a remake of it, only 10-20% of richman was adapted in faceless love.

If you can bear nonsense but easy going plot or like watching Luke/ Dew / Kao , then you can give this series a watch.

An easy but forgettable watch

I recently finished "Rich Man, Poor Woman" in order to watch this drama, but honestly the two dramas are so different... It's hard to even think of "Faceless Love" as a remake of RMPW if we're being honest.

First, the story is fine. It's a really easy watch, so I was able to finish it within a couple days which is sometimes hard for me to do, personally. However, I also get the feeling that I will probably forget within a few months. Second, the actors all do a fine job as well but no one really stands out in my mind. Dew is a little wooden and Luke is overacting a tad during his angry scenes. They're both super good-looking though so I didn't really mind that much. Kao is a good actress but can't really rise above the kind-of meh script.

Now let's address the changes from the source material I liked and disliked as well as just some general likes and dislikes:
Likes: The series is more of a straight-up romance compared to the original, which desperately needed more romance scenes (Thank God for the follow-up movie); The motivations of Luke's character make more sense than in the original; The family scenes with the FL and later the ML's family were very heartwarming.
Dislikes: Dew's character isn't presented as a "genius like in the original, which makes him seem like just a spoiled brat. Like, why is even the CEO of the company in the first place; June's mean girl is entertaining but her motivations are weak; Kao's character doesn't become her own person like the original.

On a side note, I feel like this series misrepresents prosopagnosia (face blindness) and Alzheimer's (dementia) in some ways. However, since I'm not well versed in either illness, I will make no further comment. It just bothered me a bit.

If you like any of these actors, I would recommend the series. If you're a fan of the original drama, I probably would not recommend because it's too different.

Good thing is the boss is not cliche like others, arrogant and harsh bcs Vee still has clumsy and funny side too. Mirin's character is too plain like other female lead. I don't really like Chanon's character or how he acts.

The plot is cliche and too plain, but i love the chemistry between Vee and Mirin. I think it's weird how Mirin treats Vee is just too informal and as a friend rather than as her boss. The plot is not complicated and simple.

I don't really recommend it and not gonna rewatch it but if any of you prefer mild and simple storyline, feel free to watch.

Not happening

I watched a Korean drama that I really enjoyed, which raised my expectations for this one. However, despite the storyline changes, it didn't captivate me. The lead actor, whom I usually like, seemed to deliver poor acting here, and I couldn't connect with the female lead either. Everything felt fake."
Those who haven't seen the original story might find it worth watching."
The inconsistency in the portrayal of the mother's escape storyline, especially considering her condition of having Alzheimer's but still being aware enough to conceal herself, seemed implausible and difficult to believe within the narrative

Worthwhile for Dew fans

As someone who fell in love with Dew from F4, didn't get enough of him in Magic of Zero (too short) or Home School (too little spotlight), this is what I was waiting for: Dew starring in his own romance drama.

Was initially unsure how I'd feel from reviews about weak acting or storyline. But personally, I found it delightful to watch how Dew's skills are expanding. His character retains some Ren-esque moments of gentle reassurance and wisdom, but also exhibits leadership and competence. Some might find the self-absorbed, childish traits annoying, but to me it was cute and entertaining.

As for story, I never watched the original, and didn't have rigorous expectations regarding plot, just for it to not suck. Which it didn't. The premise didn't initially pique my interest, however the series had enough variables and turns to keep it engaging. Kao is also a talented and versatile actress, always captivating to watch. Mostly, I appreciate that the conflicts didn't center on romantic rivals, exes, or love triangles, and that more time was spent on external obstacles (the couple had to confront together), rather than internal strife between the two. Which just amounts to more happy/heartwarming Dew couple moments than sad/angry ones--basically everything I wanted.
