Best Love Story
Manga artist Shinji Izumoto has secured a movie deal. He should be celebrating, but he's going blind, his manga series has been canceled, and he can no longer care for his grandmother. All alone, Shinji makes the devastating decision to jump off a balcony. When Hibiki Aida, a deaf fan of his, saves Shinji, they begin an unusual life together. The best love story that I think, due to the fact Tomohisa Yamashita and Yûko Araki have a strong chemistry in this story.
A manga artist, Tomohisa Yamashita lost his eye sight and a beautiful cute woman Yûko Araki. A simple story, but beneath it has a meaning of a strong bonded relationship. It is incredible that I cannot stop and take break; it makes you wanted to continue watching it until it ends.

"put out my eyes but i still can see you..."
I just finished this movie and I already know that, this movie is going to have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life! The music and sound were so good that it was as if I was listening to a precious piece of music in addition to the movie. In terms of the quality and aesthetic of filming, it was very eye-catching and beautiful, and you could feel the love between the main characters~
I don't think I need to talk about the acting talent of the actors because they are both the best; Although the actress had no dialogue at all, she showed her emotions so well that I felt familiar with her more than many other characters with a lot of dialogue.
And in the end, it was one of the few movies that made me cry because of happiness, sadness and stress...
If you, like me, have doubts whether to start this movie or not, I assure you to start faster because you are going to see one of the best movies of your life!!

only for you
"You have to live, my dear. I lost my sight, but I can still see you. Close my ears, but I can still hear you. And without the feet, I can still follow you. Without the sound, I can still call you. Break my hand, but I can still hold you. Hold you with my heart as if I were to hold you in my hand, let my heart stop. But My mind will keep beating, and if you ignite this spark in my mind, then you will flow through my body like water"This is how Shinji Ozumoto describes his love for Hibiki Eda. The plot of the story is wonderful to the point that you have the idea of loving someone in this way. The film describes the love of a deaf girl for a manga writer who becomes blind and how she helps him hold on to hope and live his life and not give up and be able to find happiness in the simplest things in his life... Performance. The actors were wonderful. I felt sad and happy. I lived the roles with them, and their feelings reached me

A work of art ❤️
Even tho super sad towards the end, just before the happy ending, I loved this movie! From the cinematography, to the actors, to the story and everything, really!
In the beginning I was wondering how it could work out with a ML blind and a FL deaf and mute but.. it did, to my surprise! And that is why I say it was a work of art!! Indeed I wouldn't expect any less from Koreans (it is an adaptation from a Korean webtoon) and Japanese talents!! The message was superb, too!
Watch it if u can, u will tear up a bit but it is worth it, oh, so worth it!

Тhem continue to live ?
I cannot express my feelings so well,so I gave my ratings everything 10 because I think this movie is beyond perfections. The story is very meaningful so I give it a 10. It taught me many lessons about life. Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
I gave the Acting 10 because they portrayed their character really well.
10 because the music vibe fits perfectly with everything in this history. The music makes the drama even better.
For rewatch value, I gave it a 10. It’s not perfect. But there were moments where I was so captivated by the story that I actually forgot I was watching a movie. And that’s something you really don’t come across very often.

there are flaws but this movie brought out a lot of emotions in me
the first half felt kinda slow to me. the cast really made me feel frustrated, downhearted, and angry. i was so mad with shinji's boss (?) because he's clearly manipulating shinji and ruining his career. it also made me feel sad thinking about how many mangakas out there had to go through this kind of horrible situation in real life. shinji's assistant had me going on a roller coaster of emotions because i felt like she's gonna betray shinji or that she likes him so she might hurt hibiki but then at some point it felt like she was harmless, she's a very confusing character. the second male lead was very very VERY annoying. im the kind of person who is not good with sympathizing to people who are in a situation that i havent experienced but araki yuko and yamashita tomohisa's acting really made me feel like i was there and i was being subjected to the struggles that they are going through. tho i must say i was kind of weirded out with the way hibiki found shinji's address. you know, it felt like stalking and i didnt really understand why would she track him down when they dont really know each other but in the end im still happy that she did because in that way she found shinji and saved him and even if things are still hard at least they have each other to hold onto now. im a sucker for love stories where they save each other and find their purpose or reason for living because of that special someone. in my opinion, this movie would have been perfect with a sad ending. the way they presented shinji's disease, when he went away from hibiki, and the way hibiki found him in that park felt final so i didnt really like the way they ended this movie but still, worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Quiet love story with random subplot
The love story between the lead characters was beautiful. I thought the way it was filmed was interesting. There were lots of close ups, kind of like we were trying to see like the ML was, and then there were scenes that were very quiet, like we were part of the FL's world. They reminded me of magnets, like they were inexplicably drawn together, then never wanted to be parted. The CEO storyline absolutely did not work for me. It felt like it needed to be part of a different movie. It was too frenetic and slapstick for this peaceful movie. There was a lot of overacting going on as well.
I liked the ending, though I know a lot of people probably thought it was taking the easy way out. Japanese seem to be known for their tragic stories, so it was a relief for me. That said, the ending sequence was somewhat confusing because of the way it actually ended.
I might watch this again in the future because it was calming.

I CAN'T SEE BUT I SEE EVERYTHING..I CAN'T HEAR BUT I HEAR EVERYTHING...
Am not a Manga reader so whenever I give any manga insprired drama,I have no expections to meet. And when it comes to japanese melodrama I go in looking for winter on a summer day, life lessons
or tears.Either way I always get what am looking for..mostly tears, for Japanese writers are gifted at that.
I read reviews and many were positive with a "But" neverthless I saved this for my PWL and I did like it,
somehow it kept me on edge because i had a weird feeling that something bad was going to happen,
even though many had spoiled the end but who can trust Japanese writers?
Tomohisa Yamashita is a veteran actor and he never does wrong in my eyes and I was thinking he could
play Steve Wonder so easly. Its the first time watching any Yuko Araki work but I think she did a stellar job.
Japanese cinematography and production are never up for discussion, they know what they are doing.
The story was beautiful,I learnt permenant lifetime lessons on disability, love and the fact that giving up
should never be an option. It makes you appreciate the gift of sight, hearing and ability to speak.
There was some plots holes which I wished were filled butI dont want to mention
them to avoid spoiling it.But In a two hour movie, its not easy to close all the gaps.

Emocionante
