A freaking masterpiece.
Be On Cloud has done it again! This was honestly a joy to watch. I went in not expecting much but it truly exceeded my expectations.The cast in this was fantastic! The leads chemistry were just unmatched. Including the side characters too.
Honestly a gorgeous gorgeous! storytelling & cinematography. Literally had me gripped at the edge of my seat from episode 1 till the end. I genuinely didn’t want it to end.
Saying that, I shouldn’t have been so surprised at how good this was considering it’s a Be on Cloud production. Definitely on my top 3 favourite watch this year. And I definitely need to check out more of their work.

lots of potential, HOWEVER
My expectations were very high starting this series and the first episodes lived up to it. The actors and the visuals were Great (pun intendet) so no complains on that aspect. However, I wished they could've done more episodes and dedicated the story and all its plotlines, as well as the romance, more time. Everything happens very fast, many plotholes weren't filled and the characters lost depth, as their development wasn't given enough space (specifically Greats brother, as well as the relationship between him and Ton Kla, Great and Tyme and the police officer). Everything was rushed, so as watcher I felt myself growing emotionally distant to the story, and unbothered when certain character's died.(Also, a bit of more explanation to why some characters acted the way they did would've been nice. Why kill someone randomly? The art exhibition? Ton Klas actions in the first few episodes?)

OSCAR WINNING SERIES
Woowo , mind-blowing, masterpiece, I didn't expect to see such solid and intresting plot from thai bl industry.. this is specially for time travel lovers... I like the was they played with timelines and in last the wrapped up everything perfectly.. no loophole whole 4 minute concept was perfectly explained in whole series... Their is 3 timeline in which 2 timelines are Virtual (fake) world ..In last 10 min of ep 8 it was explained why and what "4 min "actually is...
And
(Spoiler) Pls remember everything that happens with kla and korn is reality, they just used 4 min concept for Thyme and great ..
And just focus on each and every single details ( cardiac arrest) ....

A True Gold Star Show
First, the story: BOC has gathered together some super talented actors,who are spectacular at conveying their characters' emotions. I have not, at any time, been taken out of a moment because of bad acting. Every single actor has kept me enthralled in the story. That's unusual for me in a Thai BL. second, the story itself and how it's being parceled out each episode is chef's kiss to perfection. No repeating plot points and detours through stupid side stories that do not pertain to the main plot.Was this review helpful to you?
You’d be like ‘What did I just watch?’
Ok so, the concept about seeing 4 minutes into the future was pretty interesting but then turns out it was just the consciousness making it up while you are dying in ‘4 minutes.’Tbh I had to read all the comments to understand that ending because to me it seemed like the story had too many plot holes when it didn’t. Which is why I’d like to say, the director/writer made the story too complex and complicated.
Also what was up with the 2nd couple. They were cheating on each other but ended by dying for each other because they were ‘so in love.’ Well ok I guess.
Honestly I would rather had loved to watch a series where MC ‘actually’ sees the future and tries to change it for better. I was really hoping to watch something similar to ‘Triage’ because it’s one of my favs but this show was definitely not it. Was a bit let down.

If you rewatch, make it a game
My friend and I binged all 8 episodes. Between the two of us, we were confused... like a lot. What got us through it was us playing detective, seriously. I was really skeptical about even calling this a true BL, but I digress. As for my headline, if you rewatch make sure you take a shot every time you see the number 4. it'll definitely make things more interesting than the plot. Why on God's gay earth are they making a sequel? I love Bible, but he's got to get away from BOCThanks for coming to my Ted Talk

Complex and thus Confusing
For starters, I want to emphasize that I really appreciate BLs with sci-fi/fantasy plots like this one; we have come so far from uni rom-coms. That said the storytelling was needlessly confusing though some might think its a genius way to keep us engaged and gripping, but sadly when you understand the full picture you feel massively underwhelmed and disappointed. What we've known and who we've rooted for 90% of the show, we didn't know anything about anyone by the end. The lead characters I liked turned out to be unlikeable for what they did and the support characters I hated on in the beginning, well nothing changed about them. Acting was decent, good enough for a BL and despite the confusing plot, this was a solid 9 in my BL book for how refreshing it is.But why did I rate it 7.5? For using "minor" character in NSFW scenes. For even having NSFW scenes for the sake of it. Build a relationship and show these scenes; if I wanted to watch porn I'd go to pornhub.

Disappointing ending
I really liked the story up until the ending. I feel like they had some potential to do some really cool stuff with the ending and they just didn't. The ending just disappointed me. Confusing.....
I feel like for this type of series, I need to watch at least 2-3 times to get it. The plot was okaish I guess, I didn't like the fact that we barely got in dept with our own main characters. The romance felt bleak because I didn't know why they like each other so much that they would turn their back on their own family without a second thought. I am kinda confused with the timeline. But I wont go through all that. Overall pretty meh tbh. I felt like some characters were just there and weren't really needed. Well the actors did great I guess. It was genius to caste Bible as a bottom. Sex scenes were great as expected from Thailand. But this series is kinda not for me...Was this review helpful to you?
Great concept, weak plots
It's an interesting supernatural idea that limits the power to see the future in the span of 4 minutes only. But with a plot that should make the audience in awe but diverted to having a messy ending. This is another typical Be On Cloud’s project that only showcases a high-quality start with an extremely disappointing finale. I understand that the script is trying to give us shocking revelations but the execution was poorly done. If they had enhanced most of their scenes during the last two episodes, everything about this drama would have been a chef’s kiss.I highly appreciate and am well-devoured by Bas’ extremely outstanding performance as Korn in this series. He stole the show and uplifted the drama’s charisma. The presentation of his role was flawless. The love triangle of Korn, Tonkla, and Inspector Win is way more entertaining than the main couple. They nailed their characters and stole the spotlight even playing as supporting casts. But I must say that Bas and Bible’s chemistry as siblings is so cute that I want to see more of them as sworn brothers in the future.
The intimate scenes are also the best! It was tremendously romantic and amorous. Fuaiz and Bas made the finest sequence of passionate acts in the show. JJ became the third wheel here and I liked it better since the two mentioned paired above were explicit and intense.
In general, 4Minutes is a pretty average BL drama with a fascinating start that loses its spark from the dissatisfying scenarios established in the end. Nevertheless, the acting from everyone was great and set up a unique storyline that distinguished them from other BLs from this year. Nice work!

Absences of story
This is the most nonsense series I ever seen. Where is the main ? Its been two episodes we have no idea what happening. There is some random actions going on background that might or might not converge at the end so we won't get clear story line because it is not important? All I saw is that main point of this series is that is Great Tyme gonna have sex in upcoming episodes nothing else. If thats was the story why we need all that dark action on background? Is this a rom com with off vibes. The absolute disconnect this mediocre series. Even actors themselves have no idea what this series is about. Why should I waste my time for boring series with no plot just for forced looking nc scenes? Jes Bible have no chemistry it's painful to watch their brotherly flirting sammon should have written a proper story but she's bad at writing i guess because what even is this series even , empty story just to fill up gaps between sex scenes. Anyways everyone you yapp about this being the best are either obsessed with Build or just wanna see porny nc scenes, nothing else.Was this review helpful to you?
