The little details...
lol I just finished watching it and this show clearly got me hooked throughout the time I was watching... the acting, the storyline, the actors, details connecting... I just LOVED it. And my fav detail is probably the god's hat missing the letter 'o' in most scenes, which is written 'God', but in the last scene that she appered was a brand new hat writing 'Good', and it really made it clear that how she had developed characteriscally through the end, but not leaving her personality by calling Gu-won & Do-hee's last scene "Silly humans!". It was worth watching it overall, and now I'm in a feeling of emptiness, like after every time completing a show, but now it feels much more different...Was this review helpful to you?
It was promising but falls short
I gave it a seven because of the dramatic effects and the wardrobe of the cast. I've fallen asleep in two of the episodes. Honestly it started so good. Now I'm just waiting to see if anything cool happens later on. The FL is good but the chemistry is off I don't know why. The main lead is okay but falls short ABIT. I loved the grandma. Hate the crazy stalker dude. I'm not even interested in the succession politics. Couldn't care less who ends up with the company. Also they have taken too long to bring up this contract and even introduced an unnecessary love triangle. Sigh. .........Was this review helpful to you?
Opinion reviews
Yes at first I felt very interested, but over time I started to get bored when the villain was revealed and I thought the ending would be like I imagined. I watched it because of Kim Yoo Jung And the rest of Song Kang, I'm starting to get bored. I'm waiting for something new that I haven't found yet, but I feel like I saw Angel's Last Mission, only a different version. As for style, I really like Do Do Hee and Guwon's appearance.
I feel that the song is not touching enough, but there is one thing that makes it feel good, when dancing.

just no
This was a waste of my time. I've spent 6 hours watching this when I could've done other things. I blame my FOMODISLIKES
The characters
The fl is meant to be this independent businesswoman who isn't a damsel in distress, right? Instead, we have a character who constantly needs to be saved by this handsome demon (who is the only demon in the entire series apparently). She also needs to marry someone to inherit her family's business APPARENTLY. And don't get my wrong. I'm not saying romance makes a woman weak and dependent of her partner. It's just silly that she needs to marry to inherit the business and the rescue missions done by the ml were becoming extremely repetitive. What do you mean ''she's being hanged from a building by the ones who want to kill her''. HER KILLERS COULD'VE KILLED HER QUICKLY WITHOUT DELAY? All these situations show that the demon's powers are extremely useless the fl's bodyguard could've been a human.
Surprise surprise, I do not only dislike the fl but the ml as well! He isn't funny, he isn't romantic. His only personality trait is being a goofy demon who apparently lived for many years but doesn't in the slightest bit act maturely as he's just a silly demon.
The romance
The leads start bickering on their first meeting, so I could tell they wanted to make this an enemies to lovers romance. Plot twist, they weren't enemies at all! The trope was so forced it's hilarious. Their interactions were so boring I'm surprised I managed to watch 6 episodes. To sum it up, their romance was boring. I found it bland and poorly written.
Honestly, I can't say much about the plot. The only thing I'll say is that it didn't make sense
LIKES
The ost was decent, I guess

How Did I Watch 4 Episodes of This Trash
They're trying so hard to make Song Kang's character into Doom (Seo In Guk) in Doom at Your Service—even down to some of the ambient sound effects... but he really doesn't have convincing "bad boy" vibes. At all. It feels like your friend's cute little brother in a vampire costume trying to convince you he's sooo dark and mysterious. It feels like this is the "parade-of-eye-candy and familiar-cliches-people-love makes up for lack of quality in writing, dialogue, characters, etc." formula that made King the Land popular.
Everything about the screenplay is just bad and contrived. They (and the scenarios they're put in) tick a lot of stock cliche boxes, but there's not a lot (any?) complexity to grab on to and bring them to life. I've liked Yoo Jung in other things, but she comes off as very wooden in this role.
But, I mean, we get lots of close ups of pretty leads, so that makes up for it right?
All in all, I liked the premise, but high production quality and big names do not guarantee a good drama—but it can make for a popular drama. So, have fun with this! I'm tapping out.

bad from the very beginning...don't bother
From the very beginning, seeing the type of camara quality they had, I knew something was up.To sum it up, I felt this was meant for 13 year olds.
"Pretty" faces are not enough to make it worth watching.
It was dull, uninteresting and had some pretty bad acting from the main lead. I don't know if it's his line delivery or what, but it feels awkward and unnatural, more so when he's delivering a "joke". The female lead was great as always and she suits the comedic style much better than the ML, but it wasn't enough to salvage the series. The story was so boring, there was nothing to keep me going except my conviction that a project with such popular actors 'must' be good. Alas I was wrong.
I was struggling so much to keep going that I decided to stop. There are so many other dramas that are out right now that deserve my attention (Welcome to Samdalri, Tell me that you love me, and Flowers in sand).
Bad plot, bad acting, bad production quality. Better just watch a quality classic instead.

Contract Marriage, Chaos, and a Demon Who Should Not Be This Attractive
📝 Review(WARNING: Potential Spoilers — I’m Not Saving You from Any Emotional Damage)
My Demon is one of those dramas that knows exactly what it is: glossy, dramatic, funny, emotionally heightened, and unapologetically committed to its premise.
Do Do Hee is written and played with precision—controlled, strategic, and emotionally guarded without tipping into monotony. She isn’t softened too quickly, which makes her gradual emotional thaw feel earned rather than rushed.
Song Kang as Gu Won is pure controlled chaos. A demon who begins as detached and superior, only to steadily unravel as he experiences human attachment, emotional dependency, and the absolute inconvenience of caring about someone. The shift from predator to protector is where the show really finds its rhythm.
The contract marriage setup is handled with enough self-awareness that it avoids feeling repetitive. Instead of dragging the trope, the show uses it as a framework for forced proximity, identity unraveling, and emotional recalibration.
But the real surprise strength of the drama is its comedic timing.
The supporting duo—Park Bok Kyu and Shin Da Jeong—are quietly one of the best comedic anchors in the entire series. The repeated name sabotage alone should be studied in controlled environments. It’s simple, stupid, and completely effective every single time.
The romance itself is glossy and stylized rather than grounded. It leans into chemistry, visual framing, and emotional intensity rather than slow realism. And it works because both leads fully commit to the tone.
Lee Sang Yi’s Seok Hoon adds stability without overpowering the central dynamic, which is exactly what that role needed to do.
Where the drama shines most is in its balance: comedy doesn’t undercut emotion, and emotion doesn’t suffocate comedy. It walks a tight line and mostly sticks the landing.
And then there’s the OST.
“True” by Yoari does a lot of heavy lifting. Possibly emotional fraud levels of lifting. It becomes one of those tracks that permanently attaches itself to certain scenes and refuses to leave.
By the end, the story doesn’t reinvent the genre—it refines it into something stylish, watchable, and emotionally satisfying.
It’s not subtle.
It’s not trying to be.
And that’s exactly why it works.

Be careful not to fall for Song Kang
I absolutely loved everything about , there's not much to critique; it's just a perfectly sweet and charming romance. The story is full of those heart-fluttering, sugary moments that make it impossible to stop watching. If you're in the mood for a light, feel-good love story, this one's for you! Visually, the drama is stunning, with beautiful cinematography that perfectly complements the romantic tone. The soundtrack adds another layer of magic, enhancing the emotional impact of key moments. Was this review helpful to you?
Complex and beautifully done
LOVED this drama!!! Really love the ML and FL together...great chemistry and so, so easy on the eyes...This drama was different than many with the addition of the supernatural element. While it had some religious undertones they were not over the top so easy for anyone, who might be sensitive to the subject, to watch I believe.
I loved the forward and backward time elements and how their two stories/lives tied together...
While there were a few different storylines...it was easy to follow.
I also really loved how they wrote and acted the complexities of the different characters and how so many were a mix of good and bad as most humans are. Human nature was addressed beautifully I thought.
There was also a small element of comedy which was appreciated in this drama which was often very heavy duty in it's storylines.
This will definitely be on my rewatch list....and I may even purchase the DVD...for me it was that good!

Many twists and deep emotional roller-coaster
First things first…I have never cried so much and so often when I was watching Korean drama…
This drama is full of story twists, and full of emotional slides and lifts! Funny moments combined with moments of happiness that are replaced with moments of deep grief and sorrow... it was a ride!!!
The only other time I was as emotionally invested in main characters as this time; was when I was watching Queen of tears! The way they make you hang on every minute of this drama is amazing 🤩
Highly recommended especially when you're watching with your loved ones ❤️

My Demon : 05/03/2025 - 05/07/2025
It took me forever to actually sit down and watch this drama, but I am so glad that I did because it really is worth the watch. There were certain things are this drama that I usually don't like but I really enjoyed them here. Like the past life's, it really fit the story and made it mean all that more. I also like how it even played it smaller details like why the ML business is what it is. I also liked the whole bad guy storyline; it fit and while it was predictable it was also keeping me on my toes at some points. Overall, this show is really good, and I really enjoyed watching and I love the romance scenes between the MC and the side couple. The only weird thing was the 2ML being the FL cousin, even though there was no blood relation they were raised as cousins, so it was weird to me.Was this review helpful to you?
WATCH IT OR NOT?!!?
mhmm I'll keep it short. This was quite the Romance/Fantasy rollercoaster and I'm all for it!
Firstly I would like to point out that all actors were on point and this Drama was definitely up there from the OST to the Story especially the VISVUALS oof...
Great watch value for sure if you are looking for a Romantic drama with a basic but interesting Fantasy aspect such as "Deamon".
This is one of the dramas that actually end with the last episode resolving all the viewers questions as such making it just another great point to watch it if you hate bad/open endings.
Every episode keeps you hooked and maybe it will be a bad idea to watch it if you are short on time cause if it was fully aired when I watched the first ep I definitely would have binged it through!
If you are looking for something to make your days a bit more happy, from the visuals to the romance I would definitely recommend this Drama.
Well that's it for this short review, hope it was helpful.
EXTRA:
[Something that caught my eye was the Cap that said Deity was wearing changes form Goød(the second o is scratched out if you look) to Good at the end]
