Acceptable

May be some people didn't like the show that much but its their own opinion. This drama is just 7 episodes long, and, of course they rushed the ending, however I think the cast was great. And I'm expecting a better and long story if there will be a season 2.
I think FL was indecisive but there was a reason for it. She lived her life alone without any parental guidance, so when a lone child faces problem, then it becomes hard to find right from wrong, and she was high schooler, and then a burden of pregnancy was just wild.
And I don't understand why the writers are obsessed with sending the FL to New york, you will know after watching.
Ri-an was a main character but he has not gotten a single real scene, like when ML solve some mystery or act like a hero. Writers did him wrong.
I think the story is all about Kang Ha and him solving the mystery of his brother's death, it would be better if the writers just made him the sole main character.😑
Overall the cast was good, they could make a better story.
If you watch it, it would caome to and ened before you know, so I recommend you to watch this, the views are just great.

It was a fun watch, not too complicated

I liked this drama better than the hyped dramas that came this year till now. It starts off slow but picks up pace from the 2nd episode. And after that you just can’t stop watching. The plot keeps you going till the end.
Jae-i had good chemistry with both of the guys but I wanted him to end up with Ri-an and I am happy she kind of did picked him in the end. She was herself with him only and he was also sincere with her. So I am glad that they sorted out the mess and ended on good terms.
I am not sure about kang ha,maybe there should’ve been another female lead for him as love interest bcz Jae-i loved Ri-an and they are more suited for each other.
I liked the rivalry and the ups and downs on their friendship. He-ra was amazing. Loved her character. She was more interesting character than Jae-i. 🫢

Overall I wasn’t as interested in the school bullying thing as it got too toxic but that was the main plot of the show. I was more interested in what was going on between Jae-i, Ri-an, Kang ha and He-ra love square. Overall it was a good watch to complete in one day.

Disappointed by the lack of a storyline. It gave nothing for real

The first episode was really good. A man on a mission to revenge his brother, a wealthy frigid female lead, and her equally wealthy ex-boyfriend, who is vicious and hopelessly in love with the female lead. However, all of this turned into a disaster. From vengeance to falling in love with an icy affluent female protagonist who is lonely and afraid (damsel in distress), which resulted in a love triangle that was not necessary, plus the rest was just not right.

Same old plot, same old love triangle!

I was so excited for this drama thinking that it will give me something new and different but boy was I wrong.

Plot:
I'm so sorry but the idea of someone getting bullied and killed for trying to be friends with the most popular girl in school is so stupid. The fact that the whole plot is literally the most beautiful girl in the school makes silly decisions or mediocre decisions and some how it effects the whole school. I still don't understand how the ML fell for her. Honestly the whole show was trying to make us feel sorry for the rich students but I couldn't care less. Another thing I found annoying was how useless the ML was. He really had no plans on bringing down the school. His whole talk of getting the highest grade was so useless since we didn't see anything on grade ratings or him studying. I kind of wished he was more overpowered- having more tricks and secrets up his sleeves. Without the principals son, the ML wouldn't have found his brothers killer. And the fact that he can't fight was so anticlimactic - literally getting punched by everyone. Lastly, if you HATE love triangles, Dont watch this. Again the guys only love her because she is different and smiles once in a month. I feel like the love wasn't needed at all especially if you know your mission is to find your brothers killer, I Dont think you should be foliacing with girls.

Set and casting
The cinematography was stunning and the settings, houses and the school will call you broke in seven languages. I loved the cast. They can all act and visuals were on point. Too bad I was bored by the 3rd episode.

Music
One of the worst part of the show. It sounded like tesco Billie eilish. I couldn't tell whether was songs were in English or Korean.

Conclusion
Overall it wasn't bad. It was like every other mediocre rich kids drama but with a big budget. So anticlimactic And will leave you dissatisfied. If you want a movie to watch that is way better than this show with more drama and plot, watch student of the year.

"Netflix: A Series of Dull Story, Uncaptivated by Korean Dramas"

Why netflix is so obsessed spainsh elitè series. Money waste , boring plot and acting sucks and cast selection is bit wierd like twinkling watermelon old couple did not suited well for the characters . It is remake of elitè series with slightly some changes into it, taking is not impressive too like korea 's used to take. Nothing is there in it only time waste series.

absolutely worth it.

This series dives into the cutthroat world of corporate power struggles with an intricate plot full of twists that kept me hooked from the first episode. The characters are complex and their motivations are slowly revealed, adding depth to the already gripping story. The lead actors' chemistry is intense, and their performances are nothing short of stellar. Visually stunning with its sleek cinematography and high production values, "Hierarchy" also stands out for its sharp writing and perfectly matched soundtrack. If you're into suspenseful dramas with a touch of romance, this one is a must-watch

this drama was iffy

The start of the drama was amazing if felt like the director put time and effort into the first couple episodes however I felt the ending of the whole thing was rushed and they just didn’t have any idea what to do

I hated Ri-an in this drama so much I felt like his character wasn’t it and just wanted Jae-I. I feel like Kang Ha and Jae-I are a better match idk why I just love the rich and poor duo a bit to much …lol.

I’m guessing Jae-I went to her birth mother at the end and I thought that was cute because earlier in the drama she want to go to quite place and guessing it was her mum. Jae-I dad got on my nerves and her brother , like why flim her and treat her like she a nothing to you, Her dad holy he was so annoying like how can to talk Abt your daughter and her birth mum like that. I just want to slap some common sense in him.

i love how they director showed that Kang Ha and Kang in Han like I didn’t even know they were brothers especially fertile twins like wow.

overall this drama could have been better If there is a s2 will defo watch it

Plotline was messy and displays horrible character development

bruh i dont get how this kdrama is on netflix, everything is happening all at once like so many plots that it's just weird, i don't get how basically no one was actually punished except for the teacher, a kid was murdered and everything just turned out for the best like wha... there was a love triangle going on, there was a revenge going on, there was a rich friend group drama going on, there was family issues going on ( but that's in every kdrama ), there was a teacher student thing going on, i felt like the screenwriter just found every popular genre and just randomly threw it into the drama. Most importantly the capture of the teacher was sooo anti climatic, like she did nothing to defend herself and just got arrested just like that. Moreover, if they reallllllly wanna play off the bullies as slightly good people at the end ( which is just soo goddamn weird cuz no one would randomly just switch up like that ), they should at least implement a slight bit of guilt scenes like PTSD anxiety or sth :////// and the storyline was overall just not flowing at all, things just randomly happen out of nowhere, like bruh they didn't give enough indication that JJY was actually still in love with KRA. And I think the only good character in this kdrama is KH, like he stuck to his morals to the very end even if it meant hurting someone that he likes cuz that was what he came for and didn't stray from his principles ( kinda ), everyone else's development just either didn't change or just randomly became good after a few mins -_-
Overall, mid kdrama, dunno why its on netflix, it was the first kdrama where I felt painful to watch

the plot

The story is VERY good, but I feel like they didn't take advantage of it well. Maybe if it had had more episodes the plot could have been developed much better, the ending shocked me a little because everything It was so fast, I mean, they imprison the culprit and that's it? I would have liked them to have concentrated more on the story than on the characters' love affairs, even so I feel that it is a good kdrama and that it deserves for people to watch it!! I love all the actors who were there.

Hierarchy devours people, regardless of their status

I liked it very much! And most likely there will be a second season! It is very clearly shown that dependent people who have created a hierarchy are themselves victims of a system that does not take into account the personal desires and freedom of choice of those who are in charge. They are also victims who take it out on those on another level of the pyramid. The question is: why is everyone so eager to get there from a world of complete “freedom”? And is it possible to be happy after gaining power and burying yourself!
The cast is super! The main character also went to the favorites, since the other main characters were already there. Looking forward to the continuation! What about our hero? Does he want justice or gain power? The post-credits scene and the turn in the life of the main character invite us to think about the possible change in the second season of the romantic line.
P.s. I really like that the dialogues and actions, as well as the actors, correspond to the age of their characters. It looks very organic. Status children are ordinary children, only without the opportunity to show their weakness, vulnerability, confusion to their parents.

“Hierarchy” – Promising Concept, Poor Execution

Overall Rating: 6/10

“Hierarchy” promised an intriguing plot with its premise set in the elite social circles, reminiscent of “Elite” from Netflix. However, while the idea had great potential, the execution left much to be desired.

First and foremost, condensing such a drama into just seven episodes was a significant misstep. The storyline had the foundation to be much more engaging if given at least twelve episodes to develop. The current format felt rushed and incomplete, failing to deliver a satisfying experience.

Characters and Development

The characters in “Hierarchy” were disappointingly shallow. There was a noticeable lack of depth and complexity, which made it difficult to form any meaningful connection with them. The interactions between characters were devoid of chemistry, leaving the relationships feeling forced and unconvincing.

The main character, who had the potential to be a strong lead, did little to earn the audience’s sympathy or admiration. The plot’s conclusion was particularly lackluster, with the final episode wrapping up so quickly that it was hard to register that it was indeed the end. This abruptness left a lot of unresolved issues and did not provide the closure that viewers look for in a drama.

Comparison to "Elite"

Comparing “Hierarchy” to “Elite,” it’s clear that it falls short. “Hierarchy” felt like a diluted version of its counterpart, missing the intense character dynamics and gripping plot twists that made “Elite” so compelling. The drama tried to mimic the high-stakes, glamorous world of the elite but failed to bring the same level of intrigue and engagement.

Production and Acting

On a positive note, the production quality was commendable. The lavish settings, luxurious houses, and high-end cars did add to the visual appeal of the series. The aesthetics of the upper class were well-portrayed, creating an attractive backdrop for the story. However, this alone was not enough to compensate for the weak narrative and character development.

The acting, unfortunately, was another letdown. It lacked the intensity and emotion necessary to elevate the script, resulting in performances that felt flat and uninspired.

Soundtrack

One of the redeeming aspects of “Hierarchy” was its soundtrack. The music was well-chosen and complemented the scenes effectively, adding an extra layer of atmosphere to the drama. It was one of the few elements that stood out positively.

Final Thoughts

“Hierarchy” had the potential to be an engaging drama with its intriguing premise and visually appealing production. However, its rushed pacing, shallow characters, and unsatisfying conclusion left much to be desired. While it’s a quick watch, it’s unlikely to leave you feeling fulfilled. For fans of dramas set in the world of the wealthy and elite, it might be worth a look for the visuals alone, but don't expect to be captivated by the storyline or characters.

Overall, “Hierarchy” is a drama with a lot of missed opportunities. With a stronger lead and more episodes to flesh out the plot, it could have been much more impactful. As it stands, it’s an average series that’s visually pleasing but ultimately falls short in delivering a compelling narrative.

too dramatic

it's like a telenovela and not in a good way.
there's nothing breaking up the drama and the heaviness.
it's simply all bad things happening all the time.
some of the plot twists were laughable.
the actors did a good job with what they had to work with. the entire reason I wanted to watch this was for Rian's actor cause I enjoyed him in King The Land. I prefer him as a nice guy, but he did show off a good cry face in this.
the fact that all the suits had the tags on the outside was super weird, too.
