Strong beginning, weak ending
While the first two episodes started strong, the series got weaker going on.Mixing a criminal plot with supernatural beings is a fine line to walk and they tried too much without much of a thread to connect it all.
The production value was high, but the acting left something to be desired.
Overall this show is not as good as the ratings make you believe, but not as bad as many others. The CGI was at least medicore.
The worst was the finale with it's cash-grab for a live streaming event which I find very disappointing. Why do they need such an event, did they just want to milk the fan base? The ticket price was astronomical for Thais.
The story that didn't follow a strict plan and got convoluted later on, so the show could not live up to its potental. If the supernatural parts would not in it, they could have saved a lot of money, shorten it to eight episodes and the result could have been better. Also when the supernatural character is female, why has the male actor take that part too? That was a really silly decision. It's always bad when a show starts so strong and falls off a cliff later. I was really disappointed.

Great story that failed in the end
The basics of the story are that these special forces guys (two of them) have intertwined past lives and a villain who will stop at nothing to keep them apart. Except he didn't. Spoiler: I mean, the villain literally stopped, gave up, realized that he lost and threw in the towel, but only after causing trouble and threatening to kill everyone to force Tharn to be with him. The acting was pretty good and I was very excited about the prospect of a special investigative unit, but none of that really played out correctly. There was so much potential, but nothing came of it. I mean, it only served as the backdrop for the main love story, without adding much other than the action sequences which were a little bit too scripted and badly done to be interesting. I think they threw in a bunch of pixelated male backsides just to add shock value, but all that did was make me laugh. Good to have some comedy. They had so many subplots, with no direction and no conclusion, just subplots that never gained traction. Which meant as a special investigative unit, they never really added value to the overall story. Then I waited three weeks for the free version of episode 12 just to have the overall plot with the big bad guy decide he's not bad and all's well that ends well, and the lovers have a happily ever after ... well it was just a let down. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't watch it again and the last episode was a disappointment. Best story.
I love it.. i love it soo much.. damnn i cry when i watch the last episode.. my heart really aches for them.. i love the story line. Because i really do believe in an after life.. and the karma that you take from your past life.. it's not boring at all. The plot was soo good..I love the actors they cast here.. they're all such great actors even tho some of them it's thier first series. Love them all.

Prophetic love
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this: it's a thriller, prophecy, love story, comedy. I didn't expect all of this in one drama. This is a mature story about mature people - this isn't about high school kids or university students. There's a serious and disturbing story in the first half of this drama, which is well handled.I've never heard of the Naga, but now know that lots of cultures have similar folklore.
The action scenes are good and some appear more realistic than some scenes in 'real' action films. The slow burn and tension of the love story is exquisite. The comedy is sometimes a bit cringey, but sometimes really funny.
Only one thing was irritating: Tharn's woodenness. Initially, I thought it was Babe's acting but realised it was his character's fear and self-protection. He became less wooden as he relaxed and opened up.
That scene (you will know it when you get there) when they first stay in Babe's condo....phew...
What I liked: the acting - the pain and loss on Phaya's face was so well communicated. The distraught look on Tharn's face, and his behaviour as a result, was obvious and realistic.
What I didn't like: the female characters weren't great - apart from the grandmas, who I loved (particularly Phaya's as she pulled herself together to accept the revelations she was being told).

I LOVE EVERYTHING!
At first, I was nervous, but wow, everyone delivered! The production, no doubt, was top-notch! The storyline is incredibly interesting, and the acting – OMG! Even the restaurant auntie can act! I knew Billy would deliver, but Babe, Tack and Poom, is this really their first time acting??!! There's no way!!! The visual effects are on point!!! The OST is incredible! TheSign is a game changer in Thai BL
The Sign is an action - romance - mystery - fantasy BL with supernatural elements and reincarnation trope. It screams BUDGET. God just after watching the first episode I am hooked. This story is so out of box, a fresh air for BL lovers. Main leads have insane intimate natural chemistry, action scenes are well choreographed, music is authentic, BGM is on point, cinematography is aesthetic and wild.
It's a treat for BL lovers. Must watch series

Wow. I wasnt expecting much. But wow!
This is a great show. Wow. It is just a wonderful storyline. The acting it great. The cast is beautiful just great and intriguing. And these dudes show a lot of abs. I'm here for that! I love the love story. These is like a supernatural thing to it and pay life thing. Those are both interesting to me. It’s got a plot
Honestly, it’s enjoyable. It doesn’t revolve completely around two characters forking, there’s a pretty solid plot that makes sense, and the leads have a lot of chemistry.No doubt, a lot of people find Pit Babe to be more interesting, but in a way this one feels more adult to me. Sure, there’s a reincarnation storyline that they managed to also wrap into a “they knew each other as children” plot line, but I didn’t find myself skipping a lot and with a lot of these Thai dramas a ton of it fills like filler just so you can see the two main characters bone.
I don’t know, it’s nice to see something that doesn’t hinge entirely on the sexual relationship between two men, and it actually throws danger at them.
What more can you ask for?

L'année du dragon serait-elle propice à l'inspiration et au fantastique ?
The Sign est une grande porte ouverte pour Idol Factory. Bien qu'imparfait, c'est un drama qui change de nos habitudes et apporte un vent de fraîcheur. Il offre de bonnes scènes d'action avec un folklore entraînant dans un univers légèrement fantastique, mais qui ne le devient jamais trop. Ce dosage est intéressant, car il permet aux amateurs de fantastique d'être satisfaits et aux non amateurs de ne pas en être dégoûtés. Le fantastique est distillé de façon a ne jamais donner l'impression d'être trop.Mais en plus d'une porte ouverte pour Idol Factory, j'espère que ce sera également une avenue entière pour le BL. Depuis l'année dernière, plusieurs productions n'hésitent pas sur les nouveautés ou des contextes amenés différemment (Step by Step, Chains of Heart, I Feel You Linger in the Air...). Et il semblerait que 2024 soit propice au fantastique. Après tout, c'est l'année du dragon.
Et justement, revenons à nos dragons... Le casting qui était superbe. J'ai adoré les personnages, notamment les cinq mousquetaires : Tharn, Phaya, Yai, Khem et Thongthai. Bien que l'histoire s'axe principalement autour de Tharn et Phaya, chaque membre de l'équipe est actif et participe à l'enquête.
Le couple Tharn/Phaya était vraiment agréable à suivre. Si au début on pouvait penser que Phaya était le personnage froid et distant, il devient rapidement le coureur derrière Tharn. Les vies antérieures étaient intéressantes et le folklore rajoute une plus-value à l'ensemble. Ce n'était ni trop ni pas assez, mais le juste-milieu. Mon seul reproche sur ce couple est les scènes intimes qui ne remplissent qu'un but : satisfaire une partie de l'audience. En revanche, les baisers étaient ravissants.
Le couple Khem/Thongthai était amusant par la façon dont leur relation n'a jamais été soumise à des regards en coin ou des remarques indésirées. Deux gars ensemble, et alors ? C'était si agréable de juste voir des personnages s'aimer et ne pas y penser davantage. Exactement comme Tharn et Phaya qui connaissent un destin plus lié, mais tout aussi franc.
Le folklore était entraînant et amené de la bonne manière. J'ai adoré le fait que la série n'exploite pas jusqu'à l'usure les visions de Tharn. Tout comme le concept de vies antérieures ne devient pas absurde. En fait, le seul défaut sur ce point est Chalathon que je n'ai pas trouvé si mauvais qu'on aurait voulu nous le faire croire.
Malgré le plaisir que j'ai eu lors de mon visionnage, il est difficile d'ignorer l'épisode final qui est fortement discutable, surtout après deux semaines d'attente. Personnellement, j'en attendais tout un spectacle, mais en fin de compte, les situations s'enchaînent et... Et c'est tout. Il faut conclure, donc concluons ! Peut-être que le budget est devenu un problème. Peut-être même qu'au dernier moment, le scénario a changé pour la scène post-générique actuelle qui laisse supposer une suite. C'est tellement dommage de finir sur un épisode comme celui-ci.
L'esthétique de la série était incroyable. Je vais cependant revenir sur un point en particulier. Quelqu'un a mentionné qu'il faudrait « prendre des notes sur GoT » concernant les CGI. Le budget d'un seul épisode de GoT (~ 15 millions de dollars pour le plus « raisonnable » (soit ~ 539 millions de baht)). Pour être honnête, je n'ai aucune idée du coût de production en Thaïlande et trouver des chiffres sourçables n'est pas si simple. Cependant, je ne pense pas que le budget par épisode de The Sign soit égal à GoT.
Les CGI coûtent une blinde, tout le monde ne peut pas en assumer le coût. J'adorerai que ce soit le cas parce que même si les deux dernières saisons sont des purges, la DA de GoT est exceptionnelle. Mais non, tout le monde ne peut pas s'asseoir à la même table que les CGI de GoT. Et honnêtement, elles ne sont pas mauvaises. Allez donc voir un film de monstres chinois, vous allez vite faire la différence (et j'aime les films de monstres).
Bref, The Sign est une proposition exceptionnelle et audacieuse, un petit bijoux unique qui marque les esprits (le mien en tout cas). C'est un drama imparfait, oui, mais qui parvient à passer au-delà grâce à la dynamique de ses personnages, sa pointe de fantastique, son folklore qui amène un vent nouveau, sa romance portée par un joli duo tout en mettant en lumière des genres qui étaient, jusqu'ici, ignorés dans les BL thaïlandais.

ATÉ A METADE É PERFEITO MAS DEPOIS VIRA UMA GRANDE BAGUNÇA
Essa é uma daquelas séries que você começa e não consegue mais parar, você quer assistir o tempo todo para saber o que vai acontecer em seguida mas chegando na metade a qualidade cai drasticamente e você só quer que acabe logo.Os primeiros episódios são perfeitos e logo somos introduzidos aos elementos místicos, no começo esse artifício é usado de forma ok mas conduziram as visões e suas variáveis muito mal ao decorrer da história levando tudo ao fundo do poço.
A relação entre Tharn e Phaya começou bem, foi bem construída, mas como eu disse anteriormente os elementos místicos comprometeram o desenvolvimento deles deixando tudo muito maçante com um problema atrás do outro.
Parece que eles queriam mostrar tanta coisa ao mesmo tempo que acabaram se perdendo, num determinado ponto eu não aguentava mais as investigações, o médico, a burrice do Tharn e o jeito emocionado do Phaya.
Eu só queria terminar logo mas os problemas não acabavam nunca. Você não tinha uma pausa para relaxar.

Le faltó desarrollar trama
Me gustó, pero el final ais... es como que le faltan unos cuantos capítulos para terminar de desarrollar la trama antes del final final.La serie cuenta con una historia interesante que atrapa desde el principio. Los efectos especiales son decentes y las actuaciones son notablemente sólidas. Desde su inicio, la serie va en aumento, sumergiéndote cada vez más en la trama y en la intriga, tanto en el desarrollo del caso policial como en la exploración del pasado mitológico.
La lástima ha sido que en los últimos capítulos la cosa se ha venido a bajo. Sin desarrollar los temas del todo y repitiéndose en algunas cosas. Además, en el último capítulo en vez de aprovechar para contar cosas, a mi parecer, han puesto bastante relleno con imágenes de capítulos anteriores. Que no digo yo que no quede bonito hacer eso a modo de recordatorio, pero creo que se pasan de usarlo a lo dramático y un poco cursi para lo que son los personajes.
Aún así, interesante y diferente.
