Under the elevated tracks of Koenji. Two women, Nashida and Hamanaka, dance wildly while showing their armpit hair to an upbeat dance tune. They are best friends like no other. At the public bathhouse "Naminoyu" in Koenji. Nashida and Hamanaka soak in hot water while expressing their daily frustrations about the various oppressions faced by women, such as "serious romance between a man in his 50s and a 14-year-old girl," "derogatory remarks towards female politicians," and "across-the-board score reduction for female applicants in medical school." One day, Nashida went to a comedy live show with Hamanaka. Amidst the laughter in the venue, Nashida noticed the hurt expression of a comedian who was being mocked for their appearance and romantic experiences. On the way back, holding a pocket tissue with an advertisement for full-body hair removal, Nashida suddenly wondered, "Why does he have to change his appearance?
