The story takes place in the lively small town of Luxiang City, where the ordinary girl Xia Mi unexpectedly gains admission to the prestigious City No. 1 High School. Not bad, but could have been so much better
So, I was looking for something fluffy to watch and the first 19 episodes had a good pace with and great chemistry between the leads. There was suddenly a pot happening in the last 5 episodes which could have felt very cramped pace wise. The MLs character for most part of the show was upbeat and someone who would go after what they truly wanted. So, the shift in the later episodes felt sudden and not enough background to justify it. It does have a happy ending, which also felt very rushed. ML was a great fit for the school, but couldn't pull off looking older after the time jump. Just something they could have done better.
An underrated gem
Wow just can't believe what a drama ngl better than many popular cdramas that I watched this year there should be more hype about it quite good drama the friendship the love story everything mainly liked the chemistry of the main leads it was quite great really good the friend of fl was quite annoying otherwise rest the drama was great amazing definitely worth a try if you are into youth based dramas with amazing chemistry between the leads definitely worth a try
