Strong female lead whom is also a general.
Awesome side kicks
The oh so beautiful male lead.
I guarantee that if you enjoyed Oh My General
You will literally fall for My Lady General

Both are historical mini dramas in which the FL is a strong-willed general and the ML is seemingly weak with a secret hidden identity.

- Strong FL (Empress in FJ, General in MLG)
- ML pretending to be helpless and weak in front of FL but he's actually very powerful
- Seductor/Homme fatale ML
- Strong ML (assassin in MLG, general in FJ)
- ML is FL's consort/concubine
- Strong ML x Strong FL
- Gender Role Reversal
FJ is palace-themed and focused on mostly 1 event while MLG is not. Some differences in the characters as well but if you like role reversal, you'll like both.

There are not many similarities in the story. However the FL are both general and have the same strong female vive. I love the way the ML seems soft and ended been strong but supportive.
Although her ML at first appears toxic, she learns his motives and wants to support him.
Also, they are short stories

- Strong and hardworking FLs
- Cheeky, flamboyant, and dramatic MLs pretending to be weak princes in peril
- FL saves ML
- ML hides his true identity and is a bit unstable
- ML has a loyal but reluctant sidekick
- Cohabitation
- Gender role reversal vibes (more prominent in MLG)
- SML likes FL
- MLs have reluctant but loyal subordinates who they don't really like
Obvious setting differences aside since MLG takes place in a historical setting while NSWWYDXD takes place in a contemporary setting but I couldn't help but think of MLG while watching NSWWYDXD

- Short historical romantic dramas
- Unusual & interesting lead couple
- MLs are clever and charismatic (and they both keep secrets)
- Strong and rough FLs with strong moral codes
- Gentle, soft MLs
- SML likes FL
- Gender role reversal
- Married early on
- Brawns FL/Brains ML, Strong FL x Weak ML, Heroic FLs x not-heroic MLs
- Both haves scenes of FL carrying ML to safety
Not very similar in vibe, though. Tea of Destiny is lighthearted comedy, whereas My Lady General takes itself more seriously.
