novel-wise, kinda same: was previously married in prev life, wrongfully killed, ml and fl are both cunning strategies. they also exist in the same universe! both from the warring states period:

TLFG - The State of Wei
TD - The State of Yan

but TD is a VERY slow burn romance. they didnt even had that much of an interaction until like c84 or something. but still, check it out!

Both series have a strong female lead who’s good at martial arts and also clever strategies. Male leads are also on par and play supportive characters and have their own arcs/secrets. Love Legend of Fu Yao and if Legend of the Female General stays similar to its novel counterpart then it definitely worth my hype.

Both are Chinese historical dramas
Both are upcoming dramas
Both are dramas about the life of a female lead
I recommend Brocade Odyssey to those who liked Legend of the Female General.

If you enjoyed "Queen Woo," you'll find "Legend of the Female General" equally captivating with its compelling blend of historical drama and strong female leads. This series delves into the life of a fearless woman warrior, delivering a riveting narrative filled with strategic battles, intricate politics, and powerful performances. Just like "Queen Woo," it features a rich historical backdrop and a determined heroine who defies societal expectations, making it a must-watch for fans who appreciate dynamic female characters and intense storytelling.
