8.0/10

This episode was a bit more sluggish for me. Simply because there's a lot to cover, but I thought Yi Joo got to cocky. Which seemed odd because the baddies got in some good punches.

I'm happy that she seems to accept that she's falling in love with Do Guk. Though I can't believe she doesn't believe that he loves her, but I guess I can. Everyone who should have loved her unconditionally has betrayed her. But even she can't deny being able to eat Do Guk cooking with complete faith and trust.

The evil mom did get the upper hand where Yi Joo was trying to gain control of the company it's odd that Kim Jae Won [Jung Hye's secretary] is still firmly on her side. I thought Jae Won would go straight to evil mom or at least be pretending to help Yi Joo. Then surprise betray her.

Either way this episode had a lot to unpack. I also think the chef has a bigger connection than all this. I'm wondering if I missed out on who Yi Joo's real mom is. I feel like it's gonna be the cook. However, I wonder if the cook is just the woman who supposedly died in the fire and that the EVIL MOTHER had a hand in that and was gunning for Yi Joo's dad from the get go. Imagine all of this as one gaint scheme are something. Though I think I'm going way too far. Just me seeing a huge big plot cause I like it crazy like that.

To the EVIL MOTHER. Well played. Though poor Yoo Ra is just a silly little fool. Her plans backfired fast! I have to give props to Se Hyeok for stepping up. Though sadly only when he realized that Yoo Ra used and betrayed him, not to mention she showed him her true colors but he still had to see that nail in the coffin. I think Yoo Ra burned herself good.

know it's kinda frustrating the one step…

know it's kinda frustrating the one step forward one step back... but IMHO it is also very realistic. yeah both Yi Joo & Do Guk (who i am guessing was in the black car Yi Joo crashed into, when she was trying to go back to the gallery) r trying to get revenge - justifiably so... but that doesn't make them master minds at revenge. so there is a back & forth, also Jung Hye has been an evil mastermind & actively destroying lives for decade's - way longer then Yi Joo was alive, so of course it wouldn't be easy to exact said revenge. *****************************************************************************************************************************************plus in this ep finally Se Hyeok & his sister got their comeuppance (wish their mother had also been dragged into that police precinct kicking & screaming) other then that, they finally had to face the reality they kept avoiding - living in their victim complex bubble. *****************************************************************************************************************************************this a side note, but now have a feeling Lee Ji Won (cooking class teacher) is Yi Joo's biological mother. maybe she didn't know her baby survived the fire. how that came to be, we have yet to see.*****************************************************************************************************************************************also if Jin Woong was taken to hospital after collapsing (getting housed in a private room) how come no one has found out the reason he is so sickly, (cause he's being poisoned)?!?\(〇_o)/ Jung Hye got such huge balls, she's doing it while he's hospitalized?? how much money she got to keep bribing people???*****************************************************************************************************************************************additional side note: am glad Jae Won (Jung Hye's secretary) is on Yi Joo's side, but WHY??? what is his true motivation?!? before this ep, thought maybe he was the son of the housekeeper that was falsely accused of poisoning Yi Joo. not the case. so why???

SPOILER ALERT! [9/10]

Doguk's family now knows what really happened in the past and what caused Jungwook's disability. However, I'm disappointed in grandma Taeja's reaction. I like her because she's firm with her opinion and she doesn't take bullshit, but I don't like the approach she takes with the brothers. She breaks the phone that has the evidence, and for what? Because she's angry Doguk, Jungwook, and their mother has been hiding it from her? Nobody believed in Doguk, and the time he wanted to explain it in the past, he was hit by his own father. I really want to see the father's reaction, and I want to see him ask for Doguk's forgiveness. The father was a coward and still a coward, I can only rely on the women in Doguk's family. Finally, what I've been wanting to see is shown in this episode. In this episode, Sehyeok knows that Yoora doesn't give a shit about her and is about to get married to another man. I don't pity him at all for the choice he makes, I only pity him for the burden his family put on him. Just look at the way his mother and sister behave lol. His sister could've been like him, work-wise, I mean. She could've worked as hard as Sehyeok so her mother will stop bitching about money, but instead, she thinks Yijoo is responsible for her family's financial status. And it's not like she's a teen either. Her mother failed her as much as Junghye failed Yoora. But Sehee and Yoora are grown-ass women, so they're responsible for the shitty things they do. There's a scene in which grandma Taeja asks Yijoo if she likes Doguk. She answers how much she likes him, but she hesitates when answering whether Doguk likes her. Girl, you know he likes you! You even tried to draw a line because you realise you both are developing feelings for each other. I hope she can be confident about their feelings after this. It's okay Yijoo, take your time. I understand it takes time.
