Something fresh, light with a little bit of mystery
Watch this if you are looking for something light with a little bit of intrigue. I was in a drama slump wherein I couldn't get pass first few episodes. I found this drama light, intriguing and entertaining that I was able to binge watch it upon release in the streaming platform. I found the two lead actors quite refreshing, as well as the supporting characters. It was very light and funny. The SML and SFL were so funny. It was your usual troupe but I like the twist in the end which I didn't expect. Although not a perfect story continuity-wise, but it was cute an okay and entertaining drama - enough for me to finish the whole thing. Bonus -- I love their scenes in the farm. I look forward to the future dramas of the leads! Ending was simple but sweet.Was this review helpful to you?
A bunch of Liers,,some in Love others just obsessed
This is an easy binge, a binge that litterally brings nothing new to the table but is more of a 7,75 then a 7,5. It also has some moments of second hand embarrassment that made me almost drop it the first episode. As well as a slightly annoying childish obsessed second female lead.Bit it also has a smart female lead, fine se does seem to break a record in taking a wrong step in her heels, one moment she can run in heels the other she stumbles in to the arms of our male lead repeat... But she is fun, interesting and did not annoy me.
Our male lead spends a lot of time in the shower or just casually showing up without his shirt on. He is also mostly smart, fun to watch and slightly obsessed with both the female lead and some other stuff.
The second male lead is guaranteed not to give you SLS.
And the main villains are pretty evil.
This drama also setts a record in using truck of dooms little leathal sisters. Oh they died in a car accident, that person too, and that one, and yep... another gone and another one gone another car gets hit by a small truck...
As for chemistry and romance Id say its decent. They offer a lot of ok kisses, great ooops I caught you and now I shall stare intensely in to your eyes in slow motion with a look of "I want to devour you".
The black "I want to protect you" umbrella is well used almost to much and ends up on the ground a lot.
And we do get our beloved Co- tropes Cohabitation, Contract relationship, Coworker s...
As for the liers, we get a whole range of them as there is probably only one person who is honest in sight...

One of the worst Female Leads ever written. Terrible Plot.
Drama is a gag. If you think critically you won't like it but if you see it as silly, you may be able to enjoy it. As the title states, the FL is a deceitful liar who uses lies to get what she wants. One of the most selfish FL I have seen. The FL treats the SML better literally until the end and gives him more trust than the ML when she literally caught him red handed lying. The SML is the most despicable person and the FL trusts/treats him better. She literally catches him and overhears the SML with the ML's stepmom and knows they have an affair and are deceiving everyone and still does not trust the ML. SHE FINDS THIS OUT AND DOES NOT TELL THE ML RIGHT AWAY. Like WTF? Do you not think he should know that crucial information. Even after this scene, they show another scene of the SML confessing to the FL. WHAT? She just overheard you having an affair with the ML's stepmom and they show this? Why is the FL even still meeting alone with this guy? Then he says stuff to make her suspect the ML and she starts to doubt the ML AGAIN. The ML has done so much for her by this point and never expected anything in return and she still has the nerve to doubt his character. The FL's character may be the worst character ever written. All this nonsense plot of evil culminates into 5 minutes of revenge scene at the last episode. Absolutely terrible.It is ridiculous how selfish the FL is. She only cares about herself and never once put herself in the ML's shoes. The ML is so selfless, helping her with everything. He got her farm back and she still does not give him the benefit of the doubt. The ML is a pushover and simp.
None of the show makes any sense and it is just plot. The music is awful as well. They try and make certain scenes sad when they are not sad at all. If someone digs their grave, they should lie in it.
These Chinese dramas make the wildest things happen for plot. This show finally put an end to me watching chinese dramas that are rated under 8. I will stick to the recap on Youtube if I'm interested.

Good
This is an Interesting/cute drama. Some moments made me laugh, while others had me guessing what was going to happen next. This is not what I was expecting, but I enjoyed all of the twist and turns! It was a super easy watch. I was a little disappointed in the ending though. I feel like it needed at least one or two more episode. Watch on 1.25X to get thru it
I started this drama as the ML is good looking and did a good job as the villain in Lighter and Princess, and FL was convincing in Ni Cheng, but this story setup was ridiculous, and progressed to fill it's episodes with totally predicatably tropy romance and wrap up for the bad guys. As a 'fill your time' watch, it even wasn't that---that said, there have been worse dramas so you may find it entertaining. This would have been better (slightly) as a mini drama of 10 min episodes!Was this review helpful to you?

My Reviews:
1. This is a C-rated drama with mediocre actors who cannot act.
2. The drama had some good elements and funny scenes, so it was watchable to kill time while I waited for a better Cdrama to drop.
3. It is a brainless boy-meet-girl romcom with nothing special to the story.
4. Predictable ending.
I give it a 6.5 rating because it is sometimes watchable and funny.

Vale a pena dar uma chance
Uma protagonista trambiqueira, uma boa química, um romance de escritório e um protagonista masculino introvertido foi tudo o que eu precisava para um fim de semana. O relacionamento do casal foi desenvolvido de maneira realista e mais crível; há, claro, uma atração entre eles, e os atores trabalham isso muito bem. Mas também tem o objetivo da protagonista no meio disso tudo, e por esse motivo, o amor acaba florescendo de forma mais lenta. Tem sim os clichês chatos, tipo a secretária fofoqueira insuportável que faz voz de bebê e parece uma criança, etc. - apesar da protagonista não ter dado corda para ela - e o chefe sem graça, mas nada disso impediu o drama de ser divertido, com uma história razoável e assistível. Não é uma produção espetacular, mas não é a pior coisa que você vai ver. Eu estava amando, mas depois não me prendeu mais, acabei assistindo só por obrigação para não desistir, e como já estava no meio do dorama, não valeria a pena.Was this review helpful to you?

interesting, despite the cliches
I wasn't expecting much from this drama, but it pleasantly surprised me in some ways.In my opinion, cdrama releases so far - specifically talking about the 1st half of 2024 - are very weak compared to 2023's releases, so a different romantic comedy with a FL who is a liar and smart was everything I needed to be more optimistic about.
Although there are some cliche aspects like, the annoying girl who runs after ML and does a baby voice, and the annoying senior, the drama unfolds in an interesting way with several layers.
The main actors' chemistry is really great, they really worked together on screen, however, the kisses were bad - I wasn't optimistic about the kisses, as the actress has shown in previous works that she isn't a good kisser on screen . But it's okay.
Finally, despite the slightly confusing ending, I think this is a good drama to watch on a weekend; to laugh, to have fun with FL's setups, and to enjoy the moments of intimacy between the couple - they're really sweet!
I think it's worth giving it a try. It's not the best thing you'll watch, but it won't be the worst by far.
