It was good

I think the FL is good and the ML idk why people are so against the ML. Let's be real what the FL did is correct because the ML mother is the chairwoman she can black list FL from having a job hell can be fired overnight. ML never once actually suffered in his life. If he leaves his wealth he can turn dark and take out his anger on FL because the stuff he wants to buy is expensive and he can't afford it. He wouldn't be able to go a day without his wealth. FL is also right about saying they come from different worlds because the people in high society will definitely call her a gold digger or insult her behind the back. Why should she go to his words that will only shun and humiliate her. Why must she change so much so that she will not recognize herself just because she wants to be recognized by that high society also pretty sure whatever she does the chairwoman will not like her. The FL is down to earth. Furthermore, some love fades with time. also that trip on the step in the 1st episode is stupid the writers could have done that way better.

The ML isn't wrong for clinging to FL because he knows her character very well and what type of person she is.

Moving on to the side characters i absolutely love them all, especially 2 of the side characters that work in the office Bae Jang Hui(Lee Kyu Sung) and No Ye Yeong (Kim Gyu Nam) their overthinking got me LMAO a lot in this drama.

Also, ML knows that FL isn't a gold digger he knows what she says isn't wrong but it's also not right because she is only seeing the negative way of how their relationship will end and he wants her to see that their relationship will never end. I also don't know why you all saying ML has no pride for running after the FL. Hell, I don't see anything wrong with what he did. Let's be real FL is the type of woman who can suffer heartbreak her whole life but never return back to ML if he didn't cling to her because like I said FL is strong woman.

I'm 100% sure if we had switched the ML and FL roles none of u all would have a problem because u all are brainwashed into thinking that women should only be the 1 running after a man and not have a career that's the way is seems by how all u all so objectives about ML running after the FL.

I personally like strong FL and ML and let me just say it both the ML and FL in this drama are strong.I also don't know why some of you saying FL is cold she isn't so stop being an asshole. I'm glad I gave this drama a try before believing what the comment and review say you all are shallow people. FURTHERMORE, HE TRYING TO SAY "YOU LIKE MONEY SO JUST BE WITH ME" BECAUSE SHE LIED SHE DOESN'T LIKE MONEY SHE LIKES MONEY IF SHE WORK HARD FOR THAT MONEY SHE GETS. Also the money that she took from the CHAIRWOMAN pretty sure if she didn't the chairwoman wouldn't have left her alone.

Bro I can't with Bae Jang Hui(Lee Kyu Sung) when he trying to imagine how the ML and FL dated talking out all the fantasies loud in front of the brother is just hilarious.

If u all have watched the drama I'm assuming u watched ep5 where she also pointed out that it makes her uncomfortable to see the guy struggle financially because of her because he's doing it for her when she didn't ask him to do some things like that

Underrated Rom Com

This is a nice and lighthearted rom-com. Very heartwarming and delightful. The angle to the storyline was unique at the start and how they navigate their emotions to the end with each family background reveal along the way to better understand and tie in the reasons and causes to their relationship. There were some holes and some typical rom com scenes in the plot line but that’s typical in a kdrama and I didn’t let it distract from being entertained. Regardless it’s of age gap, it was a cute journey between the 2 main characters to commit to themselves.

Not a fairy tale

Bad start, not exactly fairytale. After which there is the rejected "prince" who sets out to reconquer his beloved.
So-so plot, questionable rhythms.
The fact that all thoughts are reported makes it a bit heavy.
I stopped watching after 4 episodes but then started watching again and finished it.
The relationship between the 2 chaebol brothers was perhaps the best part (seeing the brother's lessons on how to get the girl back is a fun part). While the main couple didn't excite me much.
I found this series a bit boring.

Nice one

I didn't like the first episode because it had a kind of dull start. However, as the story progressed, it kept me captivated. I liked the relationship between the siblings on both sides, the male and female protagonists. There were a few light moments too, though the drama was a kind of melodrama. By light moments, I mean a kind of funniness in them. I liked the elder brother's role and the way he supported his younger brother. It was a good, cute, and light love story. The acting was good. Both the first and second leads were fantastic.

All the songs were good. Especially, I am your boyfriend.

Modern K-inderella story.

Modern Kinderella
This was a bit bumpy to start, in establishing the FL and ML and controlling mom / chairwoman charater / plots in the first 2 episodes. But our established team of sibbling supports continued to grow and enrich the show with every episode. I truly found myself replaying many scenes through out the series for both laughs and cries. Especially the antics of the Cheibol brothers. *Love the older brother & Sister-In_Law.

I love that our Cheibol (ML) stayed true to his charater, love and dream for her & him.
I found it enjoyable to see our Cinderella (FL) discovers her self-value and pushes ahead towards her Love... (eventualy).
She does have a lot of past trauma to heal from... but thankful to how the director & Screen writer delt with that part for her charater. Not as much PTSD to destroy the key charaters.

Definietly worth a watch or binge if you have time for 10 episodes.
Love the supporting siblings and sibling rivalry mixed in too! <3

A pure rom-com

As a romantic comedy this drama does the job; it's funny and light-hearted overall, but touching when it counts, and it manages to use common kdrama tropes without making them feel tired or too dramatic.

The first few episodes are done extremely well, setting up the story and giving the characters a good starting point. The leads are very convincing as exes, and I loved seeing how cute they were in the flashbacks of their relationship. The second lead couple has a slower start, but it's promising and it's fun once it gets started. Individually the ML and especially the FL are given really touching backstories, and I love that the drama paid just as much attention to the family theme as it did the romance.

As the drama goes on, however, it feels like it doesn't go much deeper than the initial set up. The push and pull between the leads continues in the same way without revealing much more depth to their relationship beyond them enjoying spending time together in their vacuum. The second ship is still fun though, which is all I really asked of them.

Ultimately, it's a fun drama, but even though it's just 12 episodes it still feels longer than necessary.

mid way review

I'm writing this while watching episode 6... the long break up (several episodes) was excruciating to watch. the back and forth of the relationship and trying to see both sides of it... the ML is obsessed, but I can understand him. The FL has her reasons for the breakup but she doesn't make a clean break of it and makes it agonizingly slow to watch.

there are moments when I just wish she'd quit... or either character would refuse to put up with a stupid scene forcing them to interact.

oh no they have to eat together... NO... just leave the restaurant. or go sit alone.

in episode 6 wr get a breath of fresh air as the other couple in the show (the older brother and his arranged marriage wife) starts up. man I wish they brought the wife I. way earlier. she's a favorite actress of mine a d more of her would be better.

but the biggest problem with the show, especially in episode 6... is the ARTIST. What an annoying character. he's introduced as a total creep and he just keeps being a creep. first as a man blindly texting our FL with a weird and creepy smile on his face. later when he's calling her a d being intrusive. annoying.

then they have to work with him and he just insinuated himself everywhere. and of course the FL can't see he's hitting on her. that he's playing with the characters breakup and that he's a creep.

in a real world his phone # would have been blocked, and he'd have been punched in the face when he for ed himself into the MLs car.

I'm going to finish this show on fast forward. I seriously thought a 10 episode show wouldn't have all the unnecessary bullsh@! but I can't stand the artist.

Good Enough

Korean Drama '' Cinderella at 2 AM '' tries to reverse the trope of the evil mother in law who gives money to the girl in order to prevent an upcoming marriage. However, the drama fails to utilize it. Instead, it ends up being a classic melodrama.

The drama starts off nicely and it does a good job blending a fun and light love story with a cute male lead with darker themes, like domestic abuse. Also, the second couple was adorable as well and they kept things fresh when the main love story got stale.

In addition, there were some episodes that had too many fillers and it was obvious that the drama needed to be shorter. Yet, it was enjoyable.

Finally, every actor and actress in the cast did a good job with their performance.

So, overall, six out of ten.

How could it end with everything unresolved

Frustrating !!! I waited so long to see something happened with all the characters. Nothing, just more frustration. What was up with his parents, what was really happening ? What about the reporter ? What about them ? Honestly I should have dropped it when I didn't see and chemistry between the two leads, it just wast there. It was also so sad sometimes which is not fun to watch

SO MUCH BETTER THAN the sh!t show that was Wedding Impossible!!!

The writing and his fellow actors allow Moon Sang Min to shine! Acting is somewhat like Tennis; you need a good opponent to play and enjoy it. I had lost hope for him after Wedding Impossible. Jeon Jeong Seo, with her RBF, probably made it hard for him to reciprocate the right emotions, and his acting came off worse. The second lead was no better in that drama. And lets not forget how badly it was written, especially his character. I am glad he get a chance to redeem himself.

Overall, I find the story quite refreshing. I also liked how the SML and his shenanigans have less screen time. he can also act more sensibly than most SMLs, especially when he called ML when the FL was drunk and missing him.

I also liked that the FL and her brother did not forgive their parents. I also liked that when FL cried outside the funeral home, she was honest and raw about why she was sad.

The second lead couple is also cute and refreshing. The SFL is caring and kind, unlike how they show most chaebols as super b!tchy.

The relationships between both pairs of siblings are also warming, and the brothers' are especially refreshing.

Sorry dropping this...

Been seeing mixed reviews and I am one of those who isn't into it.

Wanted to see Moon Sang Min after Queen's Umbrella. But, his dramas after weren't to my liking. For me, the chemistry with the FLs just wasn't there.

He can do well in these type of roles but the FL here was so one-dimensional. From facial expressions to her acting....

If you're enjoying the drama good for you..... Just respect others who didn't like it please.
