Mixed feelings....

NOTE: This is my opinion. If you agree or disagree, it is ok. Just respect my take on this thank you

This drama started off strong and got me hooked with the first 2-3 episodes. However, as it progressed, I felt that it deviated from the initial question of Who killed him???

While this is fictitious, I felt that the overall story was really a stretch. I wanted to see Park Solomon in a new drama after seeing him in All of us are dead. But sadly, I didn't feel that this really showed his potential. It was my first time to see the FL though I felt that she looked a bit old to be considered a high schooler. The blondie was also a thumbs down for me. She comes off as a child wanting to play the role of an adult....

Anyway, there were several things in the story which eventually didn't have much to do with the whole plot. Like the brain tumor angle plus the fake GF of the deceased..... You would think it's tied up to the story but in the end, you'll even wonder if the story needed them in the first place. The reasons each "villain" did what they did was also a big HUH???? I guess what I really wanted to say is..... I would probably veer away from these type of dramas where everything revolves around high schoolers.

By the last 2 episodes, I was already in fast forwarding mode just to be done with it.

Stupidest ending ever

This show is nonsense. It has veered so far away from what the storyline was during the first 2 seasons. I don't even know why I am watching this at all.

The initial stories were able to grab the viewer's attention because it tackled topics like infidelity and adultery. (A genre which is highly popular), Despite the poor acting and script, the cliffhanger of season 1 was just practically screaming for another season to be made.

And so, Season 2 came about. This season, also full of poor acting and dialogue, was a tiny bit better than the first because this is where you find more about what happens when the wives find out about who the mistresses are. Another cliffhanger later, here comes Season 3.

This season is the weirdest I must say. I am beginning to believe that the writer herself is crazy. Probably not in her right mind at all. Ghosts???? Exorcism and possesion??? Seriously, why are those even in the story???

Now the stupidest ending I have ever seen is hinting at another season where the couples are paired with a different character. Just like how they ended season 2.

Even if this doesn't have a season 4, I doubt many would miss it. So, to the producers, pls stop milking this stupid show and look for quality writers who stay on track with the storyline.

Such a waste of time

A great start but fell flatter than flat...

Penthouse was really worth watching during its early seasons. Sadly, by the third season, everything just got boring.

Frankly, you lose sight of what the story was all about. Never ending people rising from the dead, twins, actors playing dual roles..... it was like milking something just because it became popular. I felt that the writer got too tired and ran out of ideas.
This is a classic example of knowing when to stop. Just because it got high reviews when it started doesn't automatically mean it will run true till the end.

I just watched this season to get closure. Sadly, I used to really wait for the next episodes to come out. But for Season 3, I could go for days without watching it.

Not feeling it. sorry...

Had been looking forward to watching this when it aired, but I didn't want to start something and have to wait a week for the next episode. Also, there were other really good ones to watch anyway.

First off, I didn't feel there was chemistry between the leads. Visually, they didn't pair well together in my opinion. Haven't watched any other of the FL's dramas so if I am just basing it on this one, she doesn't come off as leading lady material for me. Sorry! to her fans....

The story started out interestingly but as the episodes progressed, I just started finding it boring. Had to skip through some parts actually.

The role of Granny was also a big NO for me. Her character is wrought with flaws. First, she isn't GOD. So, to have her change the time when someone dies, (on what seems to be an outdated computer no less) is just ... DUH?? The way she treats her husband is also irritating.

Yu ri, was also another character that seemed useless. While the actress was very pretty, her acting was overly done,

The only likeable character for me, surprisingly, was Rang. Hope to see him in lead roles

overall, felt that this was just a waste of time to watch....

Better than Hollywood...

Korean kdramas and movies are truly a discovery during this time of pandemic and lockdowns. Their stories are so unique and a joy to watch. Oftentimes, there are lessons to be learned no matter the genre.

Squid Games is no different. Dark in theme, enjoyable to watch. This show has kept me on edge during each game. You never know how many will make it through to the next round. The setting for each scene was well though of and you can see that no expense was spared to make it as over the top as possible.

But more than just the games and the action, it shows what lengths some people would go through when in dire need for money. People from all walks of life may show the world a different side of themselves, but deep down, they are undergoing so many struggles just to survive.

If you are not squeamish at the sight of blood and gore, give this a try.

Boring

While the story seemed to have a promising start, the fact that it was only for 1hour plus made it feel rushed. Guess I am just more used to dramas with 16 to 20 episodes.

To actually highlight KHJ as the lead was a bit misleading. Yes, she can be one of the main characters, but her screen time is definitely less than the others. The CGI was so-so for me. The movie gave off Terminator vibes, what with the AI army and those fight scenes.

Honestly, I do not know what to write about when it feels hollow. There wasn't much substance to it. It would have probably worked if they made it into a miniseries.

Netflix definitely got it wrong ranking it #1

Nothing new....

The high school bullying trope is definitely not new. The difference would probably be the extent of the bullying.

Coming on the heels of Revenge of Others, I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch The Glory. But since this was one of the anticipated dramas last Dec., I decided to give it a go (secretly hoping to see different facial expressions from SHK)

In this drama, SHK's one dimensional expression worked in her favor. It matched the personality of the character she was portraying. Wonder if she can do better in rom-coms????

I also wanted to see more of Lee Do Hyun since I last watched him in Sweet Home. Was a bit disappointed in his character though. Yes, he had a crush on SHK, but to go all out and offer to aid her in extracting revenge was a bit far fetched

Surprisingly, the only character I am looking forward to in part 2 is Jung Sung Il. He has a classical face like a matinee idol :) and I love his deep voice. It would be more believable if he and SHK's character end up together rather than Lee Do Hyun.

Overall, wouldn't say that this is soooooo Good. Just so-so for me. All episodes should have been released at once because what is the use of splitting it in the first place? Are the producers just gauging SHK's saleability after all the criticisms on her bland expression?

A bit disappointing

I had been looking forward to Ji Sung's drama. Was excited that Seo Ji Hye would be in it as well.

However, I must say, this has been a let down for me. The twin angle is nothing new. To top it off, having an actor play dual roles as twin who looks so identical isn't that quite believable for me.

Another "minus" for me is Lee Soo Kyung. Haven't seen any of her works and frankly if I were to base it on just this role, I wouldn't want to watch any of her other dramas. She seems to be miscasted in this role. Visually, she does not suit someone who can be a love interest for Ji Sung. She looks and sounds like a teen; very far from the calibre of Seo Ji Hye who can carry herself well be it comedy or drama.

A character I also dislike is SUN. Eeriely creepy in terms of looks. While she suits the psychotic killer character, Team A (a name which lacks imagination) doesn't need her with Mr Lee in the scene. Wonder why they had to have her in the show....

Story-wise, there are loopholes that are just blatantly obvious. An estate with security offices monitoring everyone's move via drone???? Just begs the question WHY don't they even suspect and check the reason Ji sung and Heo Sung Tae keep meeting in the forest???? Also, how is it possible for Ji Sung, the author, to be able to go the main offices several times and yet rarely gets caught?????

AAARRRRGGHHHH.... so disappointed with this storyline. Two more to go and I would be done. Hopefully Ji Sung's next would be something similar to the thrill of Innocent Defendant.

Had a promising start....

I was looking forward to this because I love both the leads. The concept of a Law Cafe was also intriguing enough.

The story wasn't exactly bad but with new dramas coming out weekly, my interest in this one actually faded. So, I stopped watching at ep 12 simply because I got bored. ( Instead, I am currently watching The Golden Spoon, Queen's Umbrella and Signal (old drama).)

Chemistry wise, the leads have undeniable chemistry on screen. The story could do without the other extra characters though....

If you love the leads, you can still give this a go

another cliffhanger for this poorly written series

One of the worst, if not THE WORST, series ever. (and yet, along with others, I have this nagging urge to finish it even if Season 3 is still full of dumb plots and dialogues).

First off, I didn't watch all the episodes of season 1. Skipped just to see the ending.

I seriously hope this ensemble never gets casted again. The dialogue is already laughable as it is and seeing them act is even worse, What is it with the magic wand effect whenever they have this "daydream" sequence???

This show is probably popular because of the cheating theme, but the writer and producers should know when to stop.

That ending was a big WTH???!!!

Unrealistic but with tearjerking moments....

So, while waiting for the next episodes of Mr. Queen, I found myself watching this on Netflix.

First off, while the story is obviously unrealistic (the being young again part), I loved the family drama angle of the story.
I honestly skipped through the stories of the other characters and just focused on Dae Jeong and Dae Yeong.

Wasn't a fan of Lee Do Hyun in Hotel del Luna but I adored him in 18 again; specially the parts where he still acted on his fatherly instinct while being a classmate of his daughter.

For me, the drama showed the struggles of teenage marriages. And while theirs ended happily, in real life, more often than not, the couple ends up separating.

Not being a Korean, I also wonder if the workplace in Korea is as discriminating as depicted in the series. From my impression of Korea, the country is undoubtedly of an upper class status, but in Kdramas, I find their society conservative in some aspects of life.

Anyway, this drama is not without it's flaws. Like when Dae Yeong's dad recognized him, but did not question as to how he came to be young again. It also did not show nor explain how he got back his old appearance. There was also the matter of his voice. It was obviously different but over the phone, no one even commented on it.

If you are looking for something to fill up the time, this would be a so-so drama to watch for me.

Disappointed....

Some people might not agree, but this turned out to be a disappointing drama for me.

I had been waiting for a new drama worth watching from Park Min Young but like Forecasting Weather, I ended up dropping this one as well. (is it just me or does Park Min Young look haggard and old in this drama?)

The plot is actually absurd. Yes, she has a job acting as wife and girlfriend for men; and by doing so, people she came into contact with are bound to know of her. The INA group angle where she was being groomed to be a chaebol's wife is also weird.

The only moments worth mentioning are her interaction with the ML, Go Kyung Pyo. It would have been nice if the story focused on them more.

Hopefully, she makes a new drama just as interesting as Secretary Kim

Team Nam DO SAN!!!

Wasn't supposed to watch this since it seemed it was going to be too much "high technology" for me. But despite being about computers, advancements and etc., it is a joy watching this.

I love that it has so much heart... From the first episode alone, I was hooked.

This series has a unique story line which showcases different kinds of relationships. From families, friends, co-workers, to even two people who are not related by blood (Good Boy and Grand Ma), It is the latter's special relationship which started a domino effect and spilled through the lives of Dal Mi and Do San.

Nam Do San is not the typical lead. I love how his character exudes innocence making him one of the most lovable male leads ever. Jin Peong on the other hand is a strong second lead. Unlike in other dramas, his presence as a second lead makes such an impact to the story. He truly deserves to have his own drama in the future.

Currently waiting for ep 15 and 16..... While doing so, I am rewinding ep 13 because I love seeing Nam Do San in an all black attire. So dashing!!

Head aches watching this

Yes, I am at the 14th episode and my head aches with all this traveling through time. The jump from one timeline to another gets too confusing to the point that you start to question something you thought you understood in the first place.

I started watching this because of the promising trailer. The first few episodes were OK but as it progresses, I started disliking almost everyone on the show. Over lapping dimensions, doppelganger, AAARRRGGHHH.....

The last few episodes are too much for my mind's level of understanding LOL. Much as I loved the idea of going back in time to see a loved one, watching this turned out to be torture for me.

I am planning to drop it but I'm almost done so would probably see it through till the end

Disappointed ...

The storyline started off strong in the first few episodes. But with the character if BoA coming in,it has sadly veered so far off course. This observation was also noted by some netizens as well.

Everything just feels off right now. I cannot comprehend why the FL's fate has transferred to co-worker Yang. This considering that she isn't even considered as a main character in the story. It would have been more realistic if the second lead was the one experiencing this series of bad luck situations

Park Min Young's acting has also turned into something so predictable. Na In Woo can definitely fit into the role of a ML given the right script. He has the height and build for it. I enjoyed Lee Yi Kyung's character because he does provide a bit of a comedic relief despite being a shady character. If anything, he and Song ha Yoon have proven that they can steal the show. They both delivered their characters superbly. Being a hateful villain for me is a testament of a great actor....

Anyway.... 2 episodes to go and I will be done with this....
