An Adaptation for the Ages

This is the best adaptation of a manga I have ever seen make it to film or television. They captured every chapter, every panel, beat for beat for beat. I can only think of three things they noticeably changed over the course of these six episodes, and I appreciate each of those changes. This has not only increased my love of the original manga but has also introduced me to one of my new favorite JBL shows of all time. My one complaint? I could never have enough.

You might like it!

This Japanese BL series is great, even tho im not really into Japanese BL series i think this one is one of the few and only Japanese BL i liked and didn't get bored while watching it.
This series contains only 6 episodes of a duration of 25 mins per episodes , it might be a short series but it was still good the storyline was great.
If you like short BL well this is for you!

Calming, relaxing, emotional yet realistic

This is one of the most touching and realistic BLs I've watched. The drama has quite some unique features like less emphasis on the leads being gay and more about their life and other problems. How everything is not magically solved.
The story is about 2 boys one who gained some light as he grew up and one who lost it. Hiro brings this light into Kai's life when they were younger but overtime loses his own cz of how messy life is.
Compared to Kai's story i liked Hiro's more. I like how accurately they described corporate life. How companies make you feel unworthy and how you lose yourself unknowingly over time. I liked how hiro didn't confront, fight or do anything instead just quit to get out of the cycle. Unlike other dramas where you see the lead works hard and then things happen the villain gets fired and the office problems are solved. In reality no such things can happen. I like how hiro finished his work and quit. How subtly Kai supported and brought back light into Hiro's life and how they grew during the entire series.

It's just beautiful. I dont understand why its rated 7 but for me it was short and sweet

short but sweet

The story shows two different back story that depicts peoples current life / work. One who struggles due to his low self esteem and one who experienced loss of loved ones. The show showed how exhausting life can be that you'll eventually agree due to to frustration and exhaustion. One scene that caught me off guard was when Hiro said the reason why he is reluctant in leaving and made me feel sympathy with him. Lot of people choose to do something they're comfortable that makes them reluctant to change and be contented with what is with them right. However, it shows how brave the MC is for doing it. Kudos to all the staffs who produce this good show.

Most underrated drama

This drama is really fantastic people who was Thai bl this seems bit different to them may be because of not much comedy scenes or kiss scenes but quite romantic and based on past bl this drama contains child hood crush, past memory and office relationship wow drama no much complicated twist simple and clear unfortunately we have very less episodes and if they make more episodes with 1 hr time it would have been good but still they covered all the plots without truncating I loved this drama and Japanese bl always have different vibe the voice of actors and the music story is a kind of silent I enjoyed it and recommend to all bl fans

Perfect Propose: A Heartwarming Dive into Japanese BL

Okay, so let's talk about Perfect Propose, the latest gem in the Japanese BL scene. First off, can we just take a moment to appreciate how ridiculously adorable the main couple is? Like, their on-screen chemistry is so off-the-charts, it's practically contagious.

Now, if you're a manga fan, you're in for a treat because this series stays pretty faithful to its source material. Of course, they had to tweak a few things, especially in the "intimate" department, because, you know, TV ratings and stuff. But hey, no complaints here, it's still pretty darn good.

But, oh man, can we talk about that overworking scene? It hit me right in the feels. I mean, seriously, who doesn't want to scream at their boss for making them burn the midnight oil and not even giving them a pat on the back? It's like, come on, show some appreciation, people! And don't even get me started on how it messed up Hirokuni's plans with Kai. I was legit tearing up over that.

Now, let's give a round of applause to Kai for being the most understanding partner ever. Seriously, that guy is goals. His patience and support throughout the series just made me want to give him a virtual hug.

Overall, I had a blast watching Perfect Propose. It's another win for Japanese BL, folks. So, if you're in the mood for some heartwarming romance with a dash of drama (and who isn't?), this one's a must-watch. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. 🌟

8/10 My New Favorite Japanese BL

I loved this. Short and sweet. Definitely one of the better ones l've seen and may even be my favorite Japanese BL. It was well-written and well-directed. The casting was great: two actually good-looking actors with great on-screen chemistry. The acting was good, too; there were still some awkwardness here and there, especially in intimate scenes (BL guys just never quite know what to do with their hands, do they?), but overall, it was some pretty solid acting from the whole adult cast. I made the mistake of reading the manga halfway through the series run because I got impatient with the weekly release. It was a mistake because I robbed myself of the otherwise worthwhile experience of going in blindly and being pleasantly surprised by all the good things that a well-done show can offer. While I loved the manga and this faithful live action adaptation, I really think I would have enjoyed this a lot more if I didn't have the source material in my head as I watched it. Nevertheless, ! loved the series and I can't wait to rewatch it in one sitting this time.

Me decepcionei
