I think both of these dramas have interesting and original stories.

The characters are not black or white but grey. Everyone is clever, not only the leads but also the villains. Twists and turns, but no real romance.

Both dramas have sismance with the same actress. In The Glory, she is FL's bodyguard, in The Letter from the Cloud she's a cross-dressing scholar, who has a fake marriage with FL.

They both display the grievances and struggles of womanhood. Moreover, they both have a very strong female lead.

The same plot. Long "lost" daughter comes back to the manor for revenge or for something. The ML gets suspicious, but starts to help. And everyone in the manor is suddenly your enemy.

As for me, the plots are very similar! In both series, the main character holds a high position and investigates corruption. The main characters have different titles, but in fact they perform the same function, and there is a poison theme there.
