Both female leads are very smart, cunning, and calculated, they tend to let them shine their evil deeds without them lifting a finger.
Both female leads had to deal with evil half-siblings and their concubine mothers.
Both male leads are single dads.

The difference are,
The Glory's female lead was estranged and exiled by her own family, whereas Minglan was raised and loved by her grandmother.
The Glory's entire plot are more revenge heavy than Minglan.
In my personal opinion, Minglan is more beautifully written than The Glory.
